Damaged my property in multiple ways trying to fit an extractor fan. Smashed the soffit into pieces and repaired it with plastic screwed over it which btw looks bad because it's a different material so clearly not matching the rest of the property. Connected a joint for the ducting that failed soaking my loft insulation. Damaged the wall in the process and I'm currently disputing why it is that when I switch the fan on. There is air leaking into the chimney gas fireplace which is immediately behind the extractor fan, they claim it's too do with negative pressure which sounds wrong given the strength of air leaking through as you switch on the fan!!. The electric work elsewhere seemed to be ok so far. I don't usually leave bad feedback but the recent ridiculous email I received there from Connor has been enough to make me act.. I could mention many other failures like them leaving my fridge disconnected with rancid for the next day which they compensated and cleaned but overall what a terrible service!!

Half of my electrical appliances and lights went off, someone promptly came to fix this and it was really difficult to find the problem, antiquated system, but he didn’t leave until it was dealt with. Courteous and considerate, fantastic service! Thank you Goodwin Group.

Emailed DP Goodwin Group for a quote to replace kitchen fluorescent tube light for an LED light. Quote received in good time. Job completed well by a very polite Electrician. We now have a very bright light in the kitchen. Thank you.

D P Goodwin provided accurate quotations and carried out the required work on schedule and with no unexpected costs, and had a very good office manager, called Emma. They charged a lot less than I expected, and the work was carried out neatly and vey professionally. They rationalised a complicated outdoor lighting system, installed various new outdoor lights, including PIRs and a solar triggered timer. They also added outdoor sockets. Highly recommended, and they are my future goto firm for electrical work.

I have nothing but good things to say about my experience of DP Goodwin. Communication was excellent and I was kept informed and updated. I had a Ring doorbell installed and I am very happy with the result. The electrician was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He also took the time to set me up on the app, install the Chimes and explain how it all works. I will definitely be employing their services again in the future and would highly recommend DP Goodwin.

Cannot fault this company. We needed someone to first, second fix and connect the mains into the fuse board in our garden pub. Dec the project manager was fantastic from start to finish. He quoted a very realistic price for the work that needed to be done, compared to three other companies. Communication was fantastic and job started and finished exactly when we needed it to. Dec found the solution for installing a disco ball install, to which I am very grateful! Both sparks on the job did a really good job. Even screwed socket screws all the same way. Real pride in the job. Invoices clear and easy to pay. 5* company. We love our pub! Thank you DP Goodwin. If we ever need electrical work again, we will be coming to you first!

We have now used this company for 2 projects and have been 100% satisfied with the results. They are very professional and punctual and we would recommend them any time. We also have D P Goodwin lined up for the install of kitchen units, new sink with hot tap and I am confident they will do a great job.

We needed to retrospectively hard wire in a heat sensor, two smoke alarms and change two existing bases so they all linked up. We also added some garden lights. Had a good experience with DP Goodwin. They are organised and communicate quickly. They turn up when they say they will turn up. They were polite and friendly and got on with the work only using their phones to communicate with head office regarding updates on our job. They were able to overcome obstacles in the work without complaint. The quote they gave me matched other quotes from other suppliers but I am happy that we chose DP Goodwin and would do so again.

Installing a new bathroom in a house with only one bathroom (and toilet) is no small feat. Hence only putting my trust in a reputable company. DP Goodwin handled the job with a high level of consideration for my family; and despite the inevitable hitches in supplier issues, completed the job in the least disruptive manner possible and to a high standard.
