Very recently had a 19 solar panel and Powerwall installation completed over a 9day period. Everyone involved have been really helpful from initial enquiry all the way through to commission. People on site have been very informative, timely and efficient in their work. Really happy with the outcome given the house is run solely on ASHP's with high KwH usage

I originally discovered SunLite Group in 2022 after a previously installed Solar PV system died and the original installers had gone bust. SunLite are local to me and had good reviews. Since 2022, I have had the original panels replaced, replacement inverter / battery storage and additional panels / inverter fitted by SunLite - and later this year I will go back to them for the installation of a heat pump system as they are HeatGeek installers. Everybody at SunLite are really easy to deal with - and very efficient. No 'stupid' question is considered stupid and any questions are answered fully. I absolutely recommend SunLite, and as said, will be returning a little later this year.

I had solar panels and a battery…

I had solar panels and a battery installed in late 2024 and have waited over a year to write a review, since it takes some time to evaluate an investment like this as the yield changes with the seasons. I have been very pleased, because the solar yield has been significantly more than predicted and the system has been low maintenance. My panels face east and west and for around 9 months of the year I am self sufficient and export enough to cover my gas and electricity bills for most of the year. During the dark months, I benefit from the ability to charge the battery during cheaper periods. I found the Sunlite staff to be friendly and helpful too.

We had a great experience with Sunlite from start to finish! They installed a 5kW Vaillant Heat Pump for us over the course of a week, to replace our practically ancient boiler. We were matched to them by Heat Geek and then Jon carried out our survey, he's extremely knowledgeable about the whole process and gave us a detailed breakdown of all the work that would need doing. It took just over a week to have the system installed and commissioned, everyone was very friendly and professional throughout. They went above and beyond what we expected and took great care to make sure we were happy with the finished install. Start to finish the process took just a couple of months, now we have a lovely warm home and significantly lower bills. I fully recommend Sunlite, we'll absolutely be choosing them for future work!

Fantastic all round service

Fantastic all round service. Really pleased with my Solar and battery installation fitted by Sunlite. We are high use domestic electric users and the Fox system with Solar panels looks like it will reduce my bills by 50% or more. Every contact with the office staff or installation team has been professional and courteous and I felt that they were making every effort to understand what I was trying to achieve. It is great to find a family run local company who clearly take a pride in their work. I cannot recommend Sunlite highly enough.

Excellent service. Good value,. Quality job with speedy installation. Got 3 quotes for bedroom aircon. Sunlite was equal lowest but gave me the option to have my own electrican do the electrics if I wanted. I eventually had Sunlite do the wiring. A very neat and tidy job. Installers were courteous and polite. Protected carpets, vacuumed really well after and did a thorough test of heating & cooling. Perfect. Will definitely contact for my next install.Thanks

From start to finish

From start to finish, I have been really impressed. The initial person who came out to give me a quote was extremely knowledgeable and even made me aware of grants available in my area. He gave me honest advice around my budget and what would work best for my family — for example, he recommended more panels and a smaller battery, which made perfect sense. Importantly, he wasn’t pushy at all, which I really appreciated. The admin staff in the office were very efficient at sending my quote over and, again, never pushy. They answered all my questions promptly and were very friendly and easy to deal with. The installation went really smoothly — everyone turned up exactly when they said they would, and every member of the team was polite, friendly, and helpful. I’m absolutely delighted with the whole process and already saving money. I also thought their system offered excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

Sun-Lite were really easy to deal with - helping us choose the right system for us and giving us a competitive quote. Tom & Craig the installation engineers were great - both going above and beyond what I would expect. After sales service has also been a very positive experience.

Had a really pleasant experience with the team , especially Dan who helped set up the app with me and was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to talk to. We have welsh slates on our roof which are very old and brittle, however sunlite did a careful installation; trying to not break anything - any that got damaged were replaced and have had no leaks as of yet. We haven't had major rail fall yet, so fingers crossed we stay leak free! Looking forward to having my ASHP installed too in the near future. Thank you.

First Class All The Way

What can I say,having looked at several other solar companies we decided to go with the Sunlite Group. Extremely efficient from start to finish. From the booking of the survey, going through the whole house from top to bottom. The erecting of the scaffold, fitting the solar panels,batteries and inverter. All staff we had contact with were extremely first class.. Throughly recommend this company.

Sunlite Group have been amazing with my installation. I had gone out to several companies and Sunlite Group were the right choice for me. I did not have any issues with my choice! Sunlite Group are a family run business which made dealing with them really good as i could contact them easily. This also meant that they would put extra effort and pride in their work which they definitely did with my house. The whole team were a pleasure to work and deal with. From the initial contact of getting the job priced to the workers carrying out the work and handover. They were really respectful, clean and good! Any question i had, i was always explained and answered which was great as it reassured me with this investment i was doing. From the start all of this team have been amazing. I had gone with another solar company to start, who turned out to be terrible and after months of unprofessionalism, poor communication and needing to involve third parties, working with the team at Sunlite was a breath of fresh air. From office staff to the installation team everyone was friendly, communicative and very professional. I have nothing but good praise over the service and the my solar install. I had my 12 panel 5.4kw system + 5kw Fox battery and Zappi EV charger installation carried out by Sun-lite Group nearly 2 weeks ago. I am chuffed! Honestly, they have been amazing! Every single person I came across with have been friendly, professional and very much understanding of my needs. First, I spoke to Oskar over the phone and requested a free survey. Within few days Jamie arrived to carry out the survey on my property. Very friendly, approachable and keen on listening to my needs. Within a day I was sent two different quotes which was surprisingly lower than the quotes I had previously so I accepted one of them. I must say this is when Sun-Lite group started to really shine! From the day of acceptance to full system commissioning took 8days! Wooooow! I had my system up and running within 4 days of work at home. First day I had the Scaffolding being put up which was done in about 3 hours (great job). Next day came Tom the roofer who was shining like a star. He installed the panels including bird protection and dropped the DC cables into the loft. His installation was superb, very professional chap with great work attitude. Than, I waited few days for the electrical works to start (this was agreed up front). It took Sun-lite 2 days to complete the system installation which is great. Again a neat and tidy job! I would like to say a huge thank you for the guys carrying out the electrical works! They completed it on time and set up my Inverter+Battery+EV Charger as well. The sun is out and I have generated already over 270kw energy within 12days! Thank you once again Sun-lite Group! By the way everyone in the office Tia, Vanessa, Romi and Oskar have been brilliant! We have just had an air source heat pump installed and complete change of radiators. We were very impressed with the service from the initial consultation, the installation and the follow up. The team was led by Johnny Miles who did a fantastic job. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

I would just like to say what a great company Sunlite Group is. We have just had ten PV panels, battery and EV charger installed and the service was exceptional. From Romi in sales, Jamie and his installation team and Callum who has been brilliant sorting out me and my problems. Nothing has been too much trouble for any of them. air source heat pump - on going problems

I have had a number of issues with my air source heat pump over the last 12 months and just after Christmas an engineer from Sunlite looked at my system. I have had 6 different engineer visits from various companies over the last year and Jon from Sunlite was by far the most knowledgeable and helpful. The previous engineers have not been able to identify the problem. Jon explained how the system worked and what the possible solutions were. I am presently waiting for Mitsubishi (I have an Ecodan ASHP) to get back to me. If they cannot fix my problem then my next call will be to Jon from Sunlite to discuss options and I am confident he will come up with the best solution.

Timely intervention when the…

Timely intervention when the manufacturer of my solar equipment were reluctant to rectify my problem. Sunlite tried to accelerate a solution, but the manufacturer dragged their feet and a solution seemed no nearer. In the end Sunlite sent an engineer out from Ipswich, who promptly got me up and running again. Well done Sunlite.

Amended review

I am amending my review due to the fact after contacting the company about there initial visit they've re attended and provided all paper work that was requested, in a timely manner. I would definitely use this company again in the future for any need regarding my air source heat pump

Used Sunlite twice now for Heat pump repair and servicing. Seamless ordering. Could be considered pricey but you expect to pay for an efficient and professional service. V. Good.

A company that can't deliver!

Back ground for you. They have an ebay store . A friend ordered some cable from them for me - kept being told courier didn't arrive use a different courier who also didn't arrive etc- over a month of promises that never materialised. I have ordered from them myself thinking it may have just been a glitch - no unfortunately not the case- I am getting exactly the same script from them. Cannot work out what the scam here is as I can get a refund . But to be quite honest all I want is the items I have ordered delivered in a timely manner. Come on sunlight.. # just to add they have been in contact with me (via the ebay messages) - not happy I have left this review - the best thing for me is they had an option to sort things "Deliver the Item" and this customer would be happy, but again its just long winded email 'wait' no response then an email asking if I want the item I respond and nothing back . I have confirmed this is 100% the correct review for the correct company #

Always answered the phone when I had queries, planned and organised the work efficiently and the installers who spent a lot of time in my home were friendly and respectful and very helpful. Work was done to a high standard and solar panels, batteries and EV charger all working well.
