These guys recently fitted an EV charger for me. They turned up when they say they would and their work is to a high standard. I had a tiny issue that was dealt with promptly and professionally.

I would not use this company again based on my experience. I had a boiler and solar thermal system installed through the government grant scheme in 2020/2021. During the process, I encountered multiple installation issues, which I believe reflected poor workmanship and a lack of technical knowledge. The company had to return 4–5 times to address problems, which I found stressful and time-consuming to manage. In 2025, after being unable to get further support from them, I paid another firm to remove and replace the solar thermal system. This has been a frustrating experience for me overall.

Brilliant company to use. Reliable and honest. Arrived on time, work carried out, no issues raised. Well mannered and pleasant plumber and electrician. Just got on with the work and gave no bother. We first used the services of CD Mechanical when we had our new kitchen installed and they dealt with all of the electric installation that was required, they arrived on time on numerous dates throughout the 3 week install and I was very happy with the work they carried out. I had no hesitation in contacting them again privately to carry out a lighting refurbishment throughout the house which included fitting downlights in the kitchen and middle floor bathroom, and new light fittings throughout the whole house. I would gladly recommend this company to friends and family - and have done!

Very poor. Extortionate prices for work. Still waiting after 4 months for information about a service and other work needing doing. I am no longer going to ring again 5 times is enough with no further response.

We had CD-ME for our solar PV installation and we are very pleased with the installation and service from the company. So we had CD-ME again for our complete heat-pump-based heating installation. They've been excellent, right from the initial survey and consultation, the admin of the heat pump acquisition and grant, and also to the installation team. The team were really friendly, efficient and considerate in all the work they did including the cleaning-up at the end! They've been attentive in making sure we know how the system works. Excellent work and highly recommended.

Excellent company, very helpful every step of the way. Friendly and excellent after sales service too with any minor queries we’ve had. Installing solar panels was the best decision we’ve ever made, competitively priced too. Saved us a fortune this year with the ever increasing energy prices and will continue to do so 👏🏼. Received a great service. The price was not the cheapest that i was quoted for a solar panel system (but certainly very competitve!), but the most sensible when i had a look at the particular details and compared them to other quotes. Communication was really good, got all info from them as needed, and got timely responses. Had to wait a couple of months for installation (because of the craze) which was communicated from the start, so nothing i wasn't aware of, and actually installation day was moved ahead of the original estimate. All things considered, i was quite happy with the service and 10 months into running my pv system everything works well and ive already saved more than a 10th of the price of the system. Just as a note, i got quotes from around 10 companies and i made extensive research into solar systems, so for me they worked out quite well, but i'm still not an expert, i urge everyone to do their individual research and ask for multiple quotes.

CDM&E were competitive, professional and I felt they were honest in their advice. During the sales process my numerous questions were patiently and fully answered. The owner came to undertake a site visit. The team worked diligently to complete on schedule. They were very forgiving when I added salt instead of sugar to their coffee. We are very pleased with the outcome.

We are thoroughly impressed with CDME. From the very start with the manner in which Chris and the team set up the inspection visit through to estimating annual generation and quoting for the solar PV and battery installation, all the way through to arriving with the team on the big day, we could not be more impressed with the level of professionalism and honesty. We’ve now had the PV and battery system in place for three months and we’ve offset a huge amount of the family’s carbon footprint, benefitted from the glorious late summer sunshine and realistically saved ourselves a pretty penny in doing so. The after-sales support has been brilliant and we would love to shout out Toni for always being the friendliest, even when I ask the most difficult questions.
