We recently had P Blackhall Ltd carry out the installation of a new boiler and related electrical work. Some aspects of the work were not straightforward ,but the whole job was carried out efficiently and professionally. All the Blackhall employees ,who dealt with the work were pleasant and helpful and caused the minimum disturbance to our normal routine.All in all we would have no hesitation in using them again for similar work.

Reached out for some quotes and was very pleased with the entire process. Tim’s communication was prompt, his service professional, and everything was handled with care.

Efficient and helpful…

This company recently carried out work at our property ,involving the replacement of our central heating boiler and associated work. Our heating system was quite old fashioned with complicated pipework ,but the work was carried out speedily and efficiently. Various members of the Blackhall team visited our property at different times in the course of the work and they worked well together. Grant was there most of the time and was very good and conscientious in explaining everything to us and making sure that everything was working well before he left.

Hello, this company is not recommended. To guess they will come to repair but so as to call them again and order a repair .After repairing, they charm again I do not recommend this companyy.When I read the reviews, I agree with.

Grant helped us with our gas and he was so kind and helpful. I really cannot thank him enough. We highly recommend this company.

Andy from P Blackhall Ltd was absolutely excellent when he came to carry out repair work at my mum’s house. He explained everything very clearly and talked us through what the problem was and how he was going to fix it. He couldn’t have been any more helpful and was thoroughly professional. I would have no hesitation in recommending Andy and the company.

We have used P Blackhall Ltd many times for both electrical and plumbing work. The last three visits (for different works) have been by Grant. He is very professional, friendly, always gives me an explanation of what he needs to do, and we are always very pleased with his work. Definitely 5 stars for both him and the company.

Andy came out to mend my daughters leaking toilet today. He was superb. It was a tricky job that involved going off to get parts,. I immediately felt at ease, and knew he wasn't going to leave until it was sorted, despite it being late on a Friday afternoon. It was my daughters birthday and she needs an accessible toilet. Absolutely superb service and Andy is a credit to the company, thanks.

Firat class service from P Blackhall plumber. Very willing and knowledgeable, ready to go the extra mile. Soon sorted out our split waste pipe and banished the musty kitchen smell. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted P Blackhall in Feb 2024 when my boiler suddenly broke. They were excellent, the pressure was on to get it replaced to ensure my home had heat during the winter months and the service they offered was first rate. Whilst I was on holiday, they fitted a new boiler and left my house in perfect condition. While this was a stress purchase the price was excellent. Could not recommend Stuart and his team anymore.

Luc is our first point of contact and he is always courteous and efficient - letting me know when a plumber or electrician can be available. The service from the engineers is excellent. They are polite clean and efficient and I would highly recommend this company.

First class service from P Blackhall Ltd after l needed their services following a partial power cut. Sean and Jay arrived on time, were friendly and polite and sorted the problem. On their advice l opted to upgrade the original fuse box and this work was scheduled and completed the following month. The price for the job was very fair and the standard of work outstanding. The workers were very tidy and cleared up afterwards. P Blackhall will take on small jobs as well as larger ones and provide advice as necessary. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

VERY BAD experience. Got this company out to repair a leaking boiler. Continued to leak after they had worked on it. Got them out a second time. Informed me they didn’t know what the problem was so couldn’t fix. Billed me anyway.Threatened a debt collector. I paid. Had to get second company in and pay them as well. Nightmare. Unhelpful, unprofessional and refused to take responsibility for their work blaming anything else they could. Wish I’d read all the reviews.

Highly recommend this local Edinburgh company. They are very responsive via phone and email. Professional throughout and maintain a high quality of work. Very accommodating, especially if you require work done which is urgent or time sensitive. Will definitely recommend to others and will personally use P Blackhall again.

Very expensive company. Ive used them "when desperate" for years for my letting agency. Recently used them for an expensive repair job. The pipe connection failed within 6 months. Popped off because they left electrical tape on the joint. What kind of company doesnt clean the connection work surfaces before installing a new product??? And now they denied responsibility even when they were the last people to touch it. In my world, that is not honourable considering my long time customer status.. so I'm giving them a bad review because they aren't worth the money they charge. You Lost a customer today.

As ever, I am delighted with the service P Blackhall provide. They fixed a major electrical issue in our flat, as well as tackling several smaller jobs. Both the office staff and the electrician who did the job were professional, friendly and courteous. The work was undertaken quickly, to a great standard and charged very fairly. A great company to hire.

I have used P Blackhall Ltd for boiler services a few times over the years. I found them to be really friendly and helpful going out of their way to help me out when I’d left it quiet late in the day to book my annual gas safety inspection. Our tenants confirmed they were also efficient, professional and friendly during the inspection. Yesterday (Saturday evening) I also had to contact their out of hours service as our tenants had reported issues with their heating. Gavin offered to make a call to our tenants initially to see if he could assist over the phone. He made the call then called me straight back and thankfully he was able to assist with a temporary fix over the phone to see the tenants over the weekend. I would highly recommend and will definitely be using them again.

We'd just moved into a new property and the previous owners had recommended Blackhall who had installed and serviced the boiler for them. The boiler was in need of a service and there was a problem with the cold water tank that needed looking at. Was able to get an appointment booked in and Ryan attended to see to the work. Not only was he both very friendly and professional through out and thorough in the work, he had endless patience for my wide variety of questions. This covered not only the heating system as it was, but also on improvements we could make in future. More than happy to recommend Blackhall and will definitely continue to use them in future.
