Regarding the joint installation of a Vaillant heat pump and accompanying solar panels and batteries: Originally, I got quotes from one of the 'big boys' (a national energy company) in this line of work. The quote was cheaper, but their reviews were awful. I decided to take Which? (consumer association) advice and look for a trusted local installer. After a brief bit of Googling, I came up with Rollings. I was a bit disappointed not to find reviews for them on the main review sites (Trustpilot etc.), but I'm glad I stuck with Rollings. There team was fantastic and very knowledgeable. Corey completed quite a high-tech survey; he was very professional, and a cut above the other surveyor I had from the other company, who insisted on calling me 'mate'. The chaps who managed the installation were brilliant. Very polite and considerate, managing the installation within a week. There were one or two niggles along the way, but they were very good at sorting things and coming up with solutions. In the early days (pre-installation) communication was a bit of an issue (but, I suppose, understandable with a very busy company). John and Pete (part of the installation team) are particularly worth a mention, but the whole team were great. My system is now up and running, and even doing much better than anticipated, keeping the house toasty warm at a flow temperature of around 30 degrees! I was a bit apprehensive, given the sizable investment, but I'm glad I made the leap. Thank you Paul for a great installation. You should be proud of your team!

We have had a home battery storage system supplied and installed by Rollings Renewables and couldn't be more pleased! You know how nothing ever seems to go right in this world? Well, for a great change, this went perfectly. Arrived on the promised day. Took a little longer expected so worked Saturday to finish off. And owner Paul Rollings is as kind and helpful as can be with aftersales assistance. Highly recommended.

Impressive design process with the focus on dialogue and explanations throughout and no pressure to buy. The quotation was competitive, accurate and there were no hidden extras. The installation was super organised from the scaffolding, panel fitting, electrical work through to disposal of all waste. From initial discussion through designing my battery and gateway system to full install Rollings Renewables were professional and efficient in all they did and delivered a Sigenergy system that is now providing us with cheaper, green electricity and giving us security of supply through power cuts. I would highly recommend this excellent company to anyone who wants to maximise their use of efficient, renewable energy. 5 stars.

Great experience with Rollings Renewables. Paul was very patient with us over the 4 months we explored the best option to meet our needs. Not a pushy sales experience at all which is very refreshing. Sigenergy battery system and backup gateway now installed along with a set of rear roof panels. The whole fit process (inc scaffold removal) was completed in less than a week and the team were respectful, polite and professional. Early system impressions are great and we are likely to return for extra battery and panel capacity at some point. Charlotte and Corey have been great in relation to logistics, handling the National Grid admin and general support. In our opinion - you can use this company with confidence.

We are very pleased that Rollings Renewables installed our solar panels, battery and Eddi. Despite the bad weather all the team worked really hard to get the job done and at the same time they were also very accommodating and really tidy. I used Rollings Renewables over a couple of years ago to install a large solar array and battery to complement my existing EV charger. I did a lot of research, and they appeared to be the best company by miles in terms of quality. I'm sure we could have had a cheaper installation or installer, but little things like using the larger cable from the solar array tipped it in their balance. Paul produced some quite detailed predictions over energy production as part of the quote, and one of the reasons I delayed reviewing them was because I wanted to make sure they were accurate. They weren't - if anything, they were too conservative! We probably haven't to pay for electricity over two years including charging the car when you factor in exporting and cheap rates. Couple of slight issues with the configuration cost them a star - the original EV charger install used a hub which wasn't actually required when the battery controller was installed. The engineer admitted he wasn't sure how to configure the system, but when the system failed initially it was soon rectified. Also had problems with the EV charger failing to work last week which was a pain in the proverbial (and also reminded me to review them). The installers had added a CT clamp and wireless communicator despite the EV charger already having a wired CT clamp fitted. Apparently the manufacturer said you should only have one CT on the incoming supply, so they sorted that for me on Friday after I'd factory reset the EV charger. All the staff were pleasant, and the installing engineers were nice chaps who did a good job. I would recommend them without hesitation. Anyone need a Myenergi hub?!

Earlier this year, we started shopping around for a local company to install solar panels for us. We had already persuaded ourselves that this was the right thing to do from an environmental and a financial point of view. We found Rollings Renewables on Google, and the first thing that occurred to us was that they had a lot of five-star reviews. We also drew comfort from the fact that it was a local family-owned business. Paul Rollings quoted for an installation including solar panels, inverter, battery storage, electric car point, and technology to keep us powered up, even when the grid fails (which it does quite a lot in the country!) Our requirements were in part quite unusual, e.g. the car charging point was away from the property on a driveway, requiring a trench to run the cable to it. Some of the bigger firms would shy away from such an inconvenient aspect to the work. We had also asked for a very “joined up” solution from an operating point of view. We didn’t want a gaggle of apps to get familiar with. Paul and his team delivered what we wanted and the team who did the installation showed great respect for our home and kept disruption to a minimum. In fact, we were so impressed that we asked Paul to quote us for a heat pump also. We have now had all our work done, and we have been very impressed with the results. Our house is greener, warmer, and much, much cheaper to run. There were some delays during the installation process (for the heat pump) which were down to the suppliers that Rollings Renewables were working with. At the time, this was quite frustrating, but Paul and his team kept us in the loop and worked hard to get the project across the line. At all times they put us at the centre of everything and worked hard to make sure that we had hot water, even though we were without heating for a few days. In short, Rollings Renewables work hard to look after their customers. Even when there were delays, we still felt valued and we trusted them to deliver. They left our home immaculately clean and tidy, explained how everything worked and they opened a door to a very sustainable and frugal future! A special shout out to Luke, Pete, Simon, John and Dave – they are great ambassadors for the company.

Paul was very quick to come back to us with options, advised about long term integration with solar and even put forward an option for solar without prompting. Competitive on price and the installation from Tom was smooth and high quality. Great company to do business with!

If, like I was, you are thinking about investing in a solar panel and battery system, you’ll probably feel like it’s a mind field and with the information you’re gathering, a little overwhelmed. We had a number of quotes, a couple online from national firms and a couple from local firms. With the nationals, you’re mainly communicating over phone and email, which can get a little frustrating. With the local firms, they want to visit you and discuss your requirements. Both were really good. A key factor for us was, we wanted all cables, batteries and inverter to be installed in a detached garage and as such, we had concerns as to how smart it would look (hate unsightly cables on show). What really tipped us towards working with Rollings Renewables was a number of things. We met with their sales rep Cory Revell. He was knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and gave us more information and things to consider that the nationals didn’t. What I really liked was, that whilst the first quote they provided was a little out of our reach, he was willing to look at other options to achieve what we wanted without any compromise (we didn’t need to reduce the number of panels, size of invertor, etc) to help provide the best system within our budget. Another really important factor for us is the after sales service and what they are saying we will get, whilst it has yet to be tested, gave us real peace of mind. We were invited to their offices to discuss further and have a look at various systems. Very smart set up. Once we’d agreed systems and the price, including the free bird protection (this is extra from others), Corey took the time to explain the next steps and that their lead engineer and roof specialist would be doing a survey to manage expectations and meet our requirements. We were introduced to Luke and Simon. Great lads. Know their stuff and specialise in their own areas. The survey went well and the installation date was agreed. We had a Team of specialists working on the job. Young Tom concentrated on the set up in the garage (inverter, Batteries and all of the cabling to make it look really smart) whilst Simon (15+ years working with roofing systems) and John (qualified electrician with 10+ years industry experience installing these systems) concentrated on installing the panels and getting them connected. All overseen by Luke who offered some great advice (encouraged to have 4 solar panels on the front of the garage to capture the early morning sun and start generating energy early so we had continuation throughout the day). Then, we decided to have an eddi to compliment using any excess energy the house isn’t using to heat the water in the tank. I can’t speak highly enough of the great job the lads did. They are ambassadors for the firm. Professional throughout, all questions answered, and expectations managed and met. And if there is a bump in the road (we had a little one) they have the solution so there is little disruption to the install. And before the final instalment of the payment was asked, Corey returned to go over the app that comes with both the solar and the eddi and answer any final questions we had whilst reiterating that we can call them at any time. Rollings Renewables is a family run business. We’ve even been contacted by the owner Paul who too was interested to know how it all went. They specialise in a lot of areas (solar, battery storage, heat pump, aircon or EV charge point) so if you’re thinking about any of these things, it is worthwhile getting in contact with these boys!

Rollings Renewables did the initial installation of my car charger, and then moved it from one property to another when I moved house. Not only did they do a brilliant job at this - working through some unexpected extra problems to overcome around internet connectivity - but their technical support over the phone in terms of setting up the car, charger and app was excellent. I will certainly use them again in future for other home improvements.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Rollings Renewables on the installation of a comprehensive renewable energy system at my property. The project included solar panels, a large 24kWh battery, and a heat pump. I am delighted to report that the entire process was excellent from start to finish. After getting quotes from nationwide companies, i wasnt convinced by the services they offered or the products they wanted to use. I spoke with Paul and he was able to specify a system to my personal requirements. The installers were great - on time, tidy and took pride in what they were doing. i am very happy with the end result and am planning to use Rollings Renewables again soon for additional work.

Initially I spent a long time looking at different solar companies and got a number of quotes . Some gave competitive quotes, but I felt they were trying to sell me what they had, rather than listening to what I wanted. Rollings gave a good impression on their initial visit and I subsequently chose them for the job. The installation comprised solar panels, Tesla battery and a car charger. The guys that arrived to carry out the install were very careful not to cause any damage and the groundworks were reinstated extremely well. (You'd never know they dug up my back garden to lay cables) Any concerns or queries were swiftly dealt with and my system has performed flawlessly since the install. I had no hesitation recommending them to a neighbour who also extremely satisfied with his system.

Having used Paul before back in in 2019 for a new consumer unit, the quality of the work and attention to detail was fantastic. Having recently reached out to him regarding the installation of solar system with a battery prior to receiving a new EV, Paul was able to go through several options to find which best suited my requirements and price budget. Paul was extremely patient with me as I had many questions regarding the installation, best EV charger etc. We decided to go ahead with the installation and was able to have everything installed and commissioned within 2 weeks of placing the order. His team are very friendly and happy to talk through everything that they were doing, the quality of their work is to an extremely high standard which sets them above the rest in my opinion. You can clearly see they take pride in their work which can be seen from the attached photos. If you're thinking about having any work done on your property, this is the company you want to use!

I've been really pleased with the professionalism of Rollings Renewables, from the first visit by Paul to discuss requirements and put together the quote, through to the installation team who did a superb job to minimise the visible impact of the installation and the excellent after sales support. I'd had a couple of other quotes, but the confidence in their product and advice on the installation convinced me to select them. In the first few weeks of use the system has significantly reduced my electricity costs, even with limited sunlight, by being able to take advantage of an off peak tariff to top up the battery overnight.

I visited Rollings EV Solar and Storage, a local Worcestershire firm, after seeing one of their vans parked on an electricians driveway nearby. After visiting the company who gave me a lot of very sound technical advice and conducted a site survey I placed an order for an 8.2KW Giv Energy battery storage system. This was to back up solar panels fitted by a different company in early February this year. Lead times for the supply of these batteries involved a wait of a few months, not helped by Covid logistical chaos! I had an advisory call a couple of days ago from Rollings that the installation was scheduled for yesterday 01/12/21 and two very competant electricians arrived at 08.30am prompt to start work. I cannot fault any aspect of their work and can't praise Luke and Sean enough for their very neat and efficient workmanship. The job was finished around 4.0pm and properly commissioned following some Giv Energy technical support. Great company and first class employees. No hesitation at all in recommending! Went back to Rollings today 01/09/22 with a request to assist in filling out a form to register with the District Network Operator (Western Power Distribution) a prerequisite for exporting power to the utility companies, the solar panel installer having failed to do this for me in spite of repeated requests to do so. Western Power Distribution were helpful and emailed the correct registration form and Corie at Rollings very kindly filled out all the required technical information for both the existing solar system and the battery storage that they had provided, including an electrical schematic diagram and sent off the details. Once again first class customer service, going the extra mile to be as helpful as possible in resolving this long standing problem.
