Our builder recommended Renewable Planet having worked with them on other jobs, and I’m very glad he did. We’d already spoken to another renewables company who seemed perfectly competent, but as soon as I met Paul it was obvious Renewable Planet were operating at a different level. There was real depth of experience, proper systems thinking, and an ability to explain why things should be done a certain way — not just what kit they sell. They installed a Viessmann air source heat pump, with a long run of REHAU pre-insulated pipe, underfloor heating throughout the ground floor, plus solar PV and a Tesla Powerwall 3. This was all in a very mixed, old house — part 18th-century barn, part mid-century extension — so not a straightforward install. Our old house was always cold, draughty and damp. The renovated house is now consistently warm and comfortable, even in proper cold snaps. It’s been a genuine step-change in how the house feels. Renewable Planet also handled the DNO process for us when we needed to relocate the incoming supply — something I was bracing myself for, but which they dealt with calmly and competently. The installation team were friendly, professional and respectful of the house throughout. The plant room pipework is a thing of beauty — neat, logical, and clearly done by people who take pride in their work (it makes me happier than it probably should). We’ve had a few teething issues, as you do with a system of this complexity, and their response has been excellent — quick to engage, pragmatic, and focused on getting things right rather than fobbing us off. If you want a renewables installer who actually understands whole systems — not just boxes — I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Renewable Planet.

Renewable Planet have installed Vissmann heat pumps to replace my gas boiler system. The whole team from initial enquiry, to project delivery have been excellent, and the technology is outstanding. The installation process was smooth, despite the work being done in November, with us living in the house. At every step the Renewable Planet team mitigated the disruption as far as possible, and they have delivered a very smart installation. A pleasure to work with, and my wife and I would recommend Renewable Planet to everyone. Our house is warm and cosy, even when it was -9.6˚C outside, before Christmas, whilst using very little electricity. Superb

The whole team at Renewable Planet were excellent through the process, from initial meetings, to designing my system (56 solar panels, 2 ASHP, 3 battery storage, hot and cold water piping to bathrooms, wet UFH throughout the house), to the installation and final commissioning and handover. Other trades on the broader project were impressed with the standard of workmanship. My plant room is a thing of beauty. I would definitely recommend.

Renewable Plant provided a well-designed installation, neatly hiding cables and integrating panels with our roof. The system works efficiently with both solar and battery storage to take advantage of low-cost overnight tariffs. Highly recommended.

Great company. For our house renovation the team installed new plumbing, heat pump, battery and solar panels. Paul was excellent at explaining what we needed and how best to maximise use and installation method. The team were always polite and friendly to deal with. Would recommend highly.

Don't believe I could have found a better firm to deal with. Good pre sale advice , always delivered on promises and performed a tricky installation due to space constraints which was very neat. I have no reservations i recommending them.

The team at renewable planet were excellent : they communicated in a simple and efficient way, they completed the installation when they said they would and were very neat and tidy throughout. The electricians (josh and Ollie) were very conscientious, clean and tidy and clearly explained everything they did. I would recommend this company and their installation team.

We're very happy with the heat pump, solar panels and battery that Renewable Planet Fitted. The technicians were fantastic and did a great job of fitting the system and explaining how it all worked. They were professional and nice to have around. The one area that Renewable Planet could improve is the information flow between the office and clients. It was generally much more useful talking to the engineers on site than to the office. But in the end the job was very well done and completed in very reasonable time frame. They were on the whole very responsive to our questions and concerns.

Would thoroughly recommend.....expert knowledge in their field, very professional, respectful and tidy installation team for my airsource heat pumps and underfloor heating, no hard sell and came in on time and budget. Great experience and no hassle.

Highly recommended installers. Very happy with the air source heat pump install and handover. Sub zero outside as i write this review but a very nice and warm house inside. The guys were very helpful and explained everything. The install looks tidy and well organised, inside and out.

Renewable Planet completed my installation of 13 panels and Tesla battery last week and I can only give a 10 out of 10 for the service, communication and most importantly the men who worked installing everything. No mess left, courteous and polite, worked hard all day and to top it off I'm saving £££ on my energy bills. Couldn't recommend Renewable Planet highly enough!

The work planned for my installation ran perfectly on time & the crew they sent to actually do the installation were a tidy & happy crew led by Sam, the 'PlumbingMeister'. The neatness of the layout of the pipework was a amazing & I love showing my neighbours the results. All in all, Planned & Installed as per spec - Very Happy.

You really know how good a company is when problems arise. Our heat pump failed on Friday and Renewable Planet knew about it before we did. They immediately pulled out all the stops to get a replacement shipped from Germany. It was fitted on the Monday by the team who are always polite and good humoured. A company you can trust.

It is a small, rapidly growing, legitimate and trustworthy company with a professional and committed team of installers who are dedicated to driving through a successful project. Communications are responded to speedily and fully. Recommendations are made based on what is best for you. I now have a system that fully suits my particular requirements. My main message, however, is to say that I was initially nervous about investing in ‘renewables’ as it is an area about which I know nothing, and I needed advice that I could trust. From my first contact with Renewable Planet I felt that I was in safe hands, and my experience to date has proved this to be the case. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them ( particularly to anyone who may feel cautious, as I did!)

The team organised all aspects of work from scaffolding contractor to expert roofing contractor and final commissioning and provision of certification. Very helpful and responsive folks to work with.
