not sure if residential arm is still trading, tried to book annual service (having paid for a S/O for the last year). phone line says not manned due to reorganisation and to email, so I emailed and it was an automated messaged saying I have left the company).. not very good. and no way to contact, but they keep taking the money for a service contract.

Keeps sending me invoices and final reminders for work they didn't do!! I only got a quick quote, but I didn't proceed. A year later they keep sending me demands for payment!! I have emailed and called but no success (they told me to email). Madness.

Everything was made easy from the initial quote to the final commissioning. Project managed by Connor the quality of the installation is excellent. I would definitely recommend Pure Renewables.

Over the last few years Pure Renewables have installed an ASHP, solar panels and most recently a battery. We’re also signed up for an annual servicing plan. Great to have everything in one place and with such an experienced supplier. Would happily recommend them.

Great Solution to ever increasing energy costs

Great result. Ordered solar install end of May. Was expecting to be on solar by end of June but due to ridiculous amount of time government took to issue the G99 permit install completed by 21st August. After permit issued system was up and running within 2 weeks. All in all very pleased with the result lowering my energy cost to virtually nothing. Install team where efficient, professional, and even cleaned up after themselves. Supported by a professional team back at the office I would recommend this company for any future projects.

Following my smooth installation, the system is actually working better than I thought it would do. Extremely happy customer and great company to work with.

I first encountered Pure Renewables when they were recommended as one of three potential suppliers (we needed multiple quotes) for PV electricity and heat pumps at our local Village Hall. They impressed immediately with their competence and know-how, but (unfortunately, as things turned out) another supplier was initially selected on the basis that they were also willing to provide extensive building insulation as well as PV and heat pumps, all in a single contract. This choice turned out to be a significant mistake! Whilst the contractor concerned (whom I won't name here) did a competent job of the requisite insulation upgrade, their technical competence on the PV and heat pump side of things was manifestly lacking, and we ended up (by mutual agreement) terminating their contract after the insulation work was done. We then brought in Chris Whitelock and his team at Pure Renewables - a total breath of fresh air, professional, knowledgeable and willing to engage extensively in discussing our requirements and making constructive suggestions as to how these could best be met. The Village Hall equipment was beautifully installed and is now generating literally thousands of pounds' worth of electricity per year. Choosing Pure to provide a PV installation for our home was then an easy choice. We've just had 26 solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 installed, and are already enjoying tens of kWh per day of solar generation. The work was largely completed in a single day (after scaffolding erection the previous day, and plus a few hours commissioning on the third day) - an impressive and very well-coordinated feat. Project manager Connor and electrician Mike made a lengthy site visit whilst the scaffolding was going up, and took time and trouble to discuss installation options such as location of the PV panels and inverters, making sure we were happy with everything before they started work. The entire job was done on time and completed very neatly. Pure may not be the very cheapest on the very wide market these days, but I'm confident they are among the best, and as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". Unhesitatingly recommended and we look forward to their return soon to install a heat pump.

Excellent Service…

I have already reccommended Pure renewables to two other people I know such was the quality and professionalism displayed by their team when fitting me air source heat pump , the water is red hot and the air pump makes less noise than a small fan

I used Pure Renewables for my solar PV and battery storage. They had a variety of options available and I chose a British made battery system. It was all very easy, quick and efficient. All the team involved (design, project management, electricians and the fitters were great). The solar was up and running on day one and charging the battery. I had a power cut on day two and the system kicked in straight away and allowed me to be off grid and self sufficient. Very happy.

Excellent service, great product.

I used Pure Renewables for my PV, battery storage and gateway. They had a variety of battery options required and I chose a British made battery system. It was all very easy and efficient. All the team involved were great and the solar and battery was up and running on day one. Air source heat pump fitted

I recently had my old gas boiler removed and replaced with an air source heat pump by Pure Renewables, and I couldn't be happier with the service. From start to finish, the team was knowledgeable, professional, and efficient. The consultation process was thorough — they took the time to explain how the system works, what would be involved in the installation, and the benefits I could expect. On installation day, the engineers arrived on time, worked neatly, and completed the job within the estimated schedule. They were respectful of my home and cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Since switching to the air source heat pump, my heating has been consistent and efficient. It’s reassuring to know that I’ve moved to a more sustainable solution, and I’ve already noticed a difference in energy usage. Installed my solar panels back in 2012 and recently had them back to install battery storage. They were very £ competitive compared to companies found online, and my preference would be to support a local firm. Helpful and not pushy when quoting for work, and the job was done quicky and professionally. Very pleased with the install and would highly recommend.

Battery install

April 2025 battery/inverter install (they had previously installed solar PV in 2012). Competive £ and higher quality kit than alternatives. Really helpful in advising what was needed and on installation options. Work completed quickly with no issues. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

New for old

Pure Renewables were consulted about removing an old solar heating system and replacing it with a solar PV system. They visited, gave advice and put together an appropriate package. The workmen were both cheerful and efficient. Minor glitches were sorted out. Both the office and those people visiting us were helpful. We recommend them.

Skipsea Village Hall engaged Pure Renewables to install a 23Kw battery to reduce our day to day running costs and to offer back up power during power cuts. They quickly produced a specification and quote and turned up to install the equipment when they said they would, cleared up after themselves and clearly showed us how to use it. Excellent service.

After a horrible experience with another company, I can not praise Pure Renewables enough. They are 100 percent trustworthy with the elderly. They did an amazing job sorting out my dad’s solar edge system. Extremely happy and grateful for all their help in sorting out the mess that was left from another Company, who were taking advantage of my elderly dad. I will use them myself one day. I recommend them 100 percent.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Pure Renewables for PV systems. They installed a small ground mounted PV system for us almost a year ago and it’s energy performance has exceeded predictions. Despite not having the greatest summer, for the past 3 months our bills have been negative ! Staff doing the specification and installation were all friendly and efficient. We were given options at different power/price levels to choose from. However, panel supply was difficult at the time of installation and Pure fitted panels with 10% higher efficiency than we had agreed at no extra cost. Great service.

Having Pure Renewables install the extra solar panels and Solar Edge 10KW battery was absolutely great. From day one, we had emails and phone calls to discuss everything through the order process to installation. With the installation, the team were absolutely fantastic. The installation was completed in one day. All packaging was removed from site and they cleaned up after themselves. Above all, Connor and the team were very forthcoming with information about the products that were installed. Delivery of the equipment was very good. We chose Pure Renewables for our solar panel installation. Jake, the technical sales person, was professional and knowledgable at his job, he helped us choose the best system for our needs. Connor and the install team were superb from start to finish. Of all the quotes we received Pure Renewables were by far the most competitive and provided the most detailed quote.

Excellent service. These guys know what they are talking about and clearly very experienced both in system design, installation and customer service. The workforce are polite and efficient, keeping disruption to a minimum. They were happy to answer questions as they worked, helping me to come to terms with the new mindset of Airsource heat pumps. Their pricing was also very competitive.

Connor and the team were great all the way from quotation to installation. They took great care to make sure the installation when smoothly, and have been on hand for all our aftercare questions and enquiries. I would have no issue recommending Pure Renewables or using them again.

Great installation, Once parts available after the Covid shortage scaffolding was erected on a Monday & down by Friday panels and battery storage fitted , working & saving money repaying the cost. Seven months since fitting in late June we have saved nearly £2000 on energy costs so payback within 5 years. Personally you must get the storage to make the system really work. Thanks to Connor Taylor of Pure Renewables for project managing and keeping the installation swift.
