We are 100% happy with the work carried out by, Jon Ford and his co worker James, Putting our new bathroom in. They have gone above and beyond in respecting our home, Communicating with us from start to finish, Making sure no mess is left behind on each shift. They have also put our Safety first in making sure there has been no trip hazards during the whole time while there work has been carried out. Very happy with the quick service to get a new EPC for my property.

Left government funded (room in roof insulation?) works undertaken in early December 25 incomplete! I've been sent certificates claiming works complete!!! Isn't this misappropriation of public money and falsifying records of finished works. Numerous calls and emails... Numerous promises that works will be completed... ZERO ACTION. One week and I'll be reporting Northern Retrofit to the funders they have fraudulently CLAIMED monies from!!!

Unfinished works and legal in appropriations !!!

I was sent an insulation certificate for completed works by post AND via email: The work was never finished: I've called the guys that 'completed' the work and the office. I keep being brushed off. Misappropriation of public funds AND illegally lying about work completed for payment from the Government!! I don't give in Northern Retrofit !!!! I'm coming for you!!

Arrived promptly, great communication, inspection carried out of friday, EPC certificate issued on monday, no complaints

Attic Insulation

Had some Insulation Work done in the Attic by the NorthernRetrofit Team( Jon, Ki and Anthony).The work carried out was done professionally and to a high standard. The team were polite and courteous. Would recommend. Thankyou

Not regarding to anyone.Just be aware people of this company. They come over to do insulation in my property and they destroy our paving and leave our garden in total mess. Run like rats away from my property and don't even let us know that they finished the job because they know what they done. Contacted the company and they refused to fix it and of course they said they not done anything.People be aware.

The work that was done quick and efficient without any delay. Everyone involved was professional and friendly in nature, explaining what they had done and who to contact if any issues arose. Nothing to fault with the service!

Had wall and loft insulation installed recently wasn’t sure what to expect at first being on a government scheme etc From start to finish they were effective and got the job done! the lads who surveyed my property and who did the work were top 👌🏻 would recommend them! Now hopefully a bit of extra warmth this Christmas time!

After receiving a letter from Northern Retrofit informing me of the government scheme to improve insulation and that it was a free service, I was initially sceptic but decided to look into it further and, after a very pleasant phone conversation, I was assured it was ‘legit’ and went ahead with arranging cavity wall insulation which was carried out efficiently by a couple of very pleasant workers who made sure I had everything in place to keep my property sufficiently insulated also checking whether or not I needed ventilation/extractor fans which they were only too pleased to supply and fit at zero cost to me! Excellent service and I would not hesitate to recommend Northern Retrofit.

From initial contact to completion, the room-in-roof work done by Northern Retrofit on my house was completed to my total satisfaction. The workforce was efficient, friendly, and cooperative throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this company to anyone considering similar work. One point to note is that, as with any plastering work, dust can get into the air, so it’s important to adequately cover furniture and belongings beforehand.

Highly recommended this company to anyone. We had Cavity Wall insulation, window vents and an extractor fan installed. The process was seamless from the beginning through to the end. Work undertaken was to a high standard. Friendly, reliable and efficient staff who kept us fully informed at all times.

Insulation under Government Insulation scheme. Workmen are excellent - office consultation with client appalling. Turned up twice and done work without notification or permission thereby trespassing on my property. Office staff less than helpful, pass responsibility onto others constantly.

We had wall cavity insulation, two extractor fans, and several window frame vents installed free of charge in April. After the insulation we filled the holes and painted over them ourselves, but the main retrofit work was carried out satisfactorily and we have no complaints. We thank Retrofit for a well-done job. Myself and my neighbour have recently had a lot of work done by the retrofit. All the staff have been excellent and are efficient at their work. I was slightly nervous about getting the work done but i cannot be happier with the outcome. If you are needing installation, plumbing, plastering, joinery work you should look no further than this team of professionals.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! We had our cavity wall insulation installed by Northern Retrofit and we have had no end of issues since the installation. Firstly, the team installing sprayed glue all over our street, drive, rendered walls, front door, soffits, facias, garage door, wall lights and patio furniture causing permanent damage & staining, which 8 months on we still cannot get rid of. The team also sprayed insulation balls all over the drive and gardens. Thirdly, one side of our house was filled with unbonded balls (which can cause issues if not spotted). We were only able to find this out because balls were leaking from the ceiling everyday. Had we not seen this, who knows what further issues we would have had. We have spent over 12 hours trying to clear away balls, clean the glue off our surfaces and the problems still persist. After badgering them multiple times they came back out to redo the unbonded wall and to try get the glue off the drive, doors and windows. When they were here, they got some of the glue off the drive and windows but it’s still all over our door, rendered wall, garage soffits and facias. They said they would send an apprentice back out another day to finish the cleaning - this hasn’t happened yet. We still have balls leaking out, plasterboard now also breaking away and damage to our house from the glue remains. This company are quick to get you in but will drop you at the sign of trouble. After the issues and 1 repeat visit to try fix the problems, we now find ourselves not being called back after multiple attempts of calling them.They clearly do not care about customer service or support. We held off writing a review to give them chance to send someone to finish the cleaning but since we are getting nowhere we have had to resort to this. We will also be lodging at complaint with CIGA if we are still being refused to be dealt with in a couple of weeks.

Free cavity wall insulation and extractor fan in bathroom fitted quickly and professionally. Small leakage of beads in the cellar which they came back and sorted the same day I rang. No complaints whatsoever, rare to get a worthwhile service for free! Thank you

First class service from Northern Retrofit. We had our old cavity wall insulation taken out, and replaced with new. We were happy from start to finish, and found them to be both friendly and efficient. A special thanks must be given to Lucy in the office, and Kelby and Elliott who carried out the work. We are very happy with the result, it has made the house so much warmer. Thank you.

Had my detached house done by this company. Amazing job from start to finish. From the phone call it took around 2 weeks to have my house survey and fully installed with cavity insulation. And what a great difference that made to our heating wow. Great professional and very friendly team. Already recommended this company to my friends and family. Just had cavity insulation installed in my bungalow. From start to finish the company have been speedy, efficient and very professional. The installation team to were equally speedy and efficient,also being very polite and professional. All work completed, cleaned up and signed off in 2 hours. Well done, so refreshing to come across a company like this.

We had the pleasure of hosting Northern Retrofit Limited at our St Helens serviced accommodation for a few weeks while they worked on a local project. Their team was exceptional—professional, respectful, and took great care of the property during their stay. Communication with Craig was fantastic, making the entire experience seamless.
