We had been seeking to install solar panels for sometime and had sought various quotes from suppliers. All came back with very basic options, issues about the roof space etc. Snyth Solar were recommended to us by a neighbour - and from the outset we were confident that we had found the supplier that we were seeking. We felt that they presented credible solutions and when challenged on the data modelling, Tom (Snyth Solar) was able to clearly articulate the calculations and background assumptions to show the return on investment. Their electronic proposals were clearly presented and easily adaptable to look at different scenarios. The final planning and installation went to plan with no issues. Post installation support as good and they offer a very impressive dashboard for performance overview. What made Snyth Solar unique versus the other suppliers was that they were willing to back up their return on investment numbers with a financial guarantee. Worked with Tom and Fabian to install solar panels on a residential property that was undergoing a large extension. The whole experience was great. They are nice people, knowledgeable, competitive, worked with me on some non standard stuff (like a switch to bypass the grid in the event of a power outage) and on provided a great after sales service. In particular, i liked the video quote. Highly recommend.

I honestly couldn’t recommend Tom and the team at Synth Solar highly enough. From the moment we connected, I knew they were exactly what I needed. I already had solar set up by a different organisation, but felt I had no control or understanding of it, and was left feeling really confused about the whole system. We had our solar panels installed over the period of 6 months. I could not thank Fabian and the guys at Synth enough. They accommodated our last minute change of supplier due to them being highly recommended to us. Within 2 weeks of contacting them, we had our panels installed to take advantage of the scaffolding. Then, we were not ready for the battery and invertor to be fit, they patiently waited until we were ready. I just can't fault their service. We are extremely happy with the performance of our panels and with the professional, speedy and courteous service provide all the way.

We were really pleased with the whole service provided by synth solar. The initial consultation was detailed, informative and transparent. Max calculated what solar panels would mean financially for our household and how the long term gain would be achieved. There was good consideration of the particulars of our household and it felt like we were getting a set up that was specifically designed to maximise our house/roof design rather than a standard package. The installation was swift with good management from synth solar. A day after the installation, we noticed a couple of small changes we wanted made to the panel set up, and synth actioned these changes promptly. We were given follow up guidance on energy companies that would pay for our excess electricity. We can also now clearly see on our app how self sufficient we are and how much is going back to the grid. It’s great to see how much money we have saved already just in spring! We are really glad we went for solar panels and with our choice to go with synth. I would highly recommend.

We worked with Synth on a large commercial rooftop solar project in Aberdeen. Synth were engaged at every moment, from exploring the feasibility of the project, through design, sourcing the best equipment, and the install itself. The project ran smoothly from start to finish, and Synth always worked tirelessly to overcome the challenges we encountered (and there were many with a complex install like this). They also continually optimised the design, for example by sourcing more efficient panels and a cheaper solution for connecting the inverters, which made the financial case for the project even better. The final installation was completed in just four days with no disruption to the day-to-day running of the business, which was very impressive. I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Synth again

He was clear in explaining each step, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure I was comfortable with the system before the job was done. We had a great experience buying and installing our new solar panels and batteries with Synth Solar. Their knowledge was great and they were happy to answer all of my silly questions. It was not the easiest project as we are a listed building in a small village. I have full confidence that we have the best possible system for our needs and the whole process has been enjoyable.

VERY happy with the recent installation of solar panels by Synth!! 3 cloudy days after installation and we haven’t had to draw down from the grid at all yet!!! Tom was excellent throughout the process. Informative, great comms and patient. A really tidy battery and converter set up in the garage. With Synth Solar there was no hard sell or gimmicks. Tom and Max provided clear and helpful information, both in person and with supporting documentation to follow up. No questions were viewed as foolish and a range of options were given to consider, with timely response to queries pre and post completion. The installation completed ahead of the timescale expected and all works completed satisfactorily.

Everything was so easy. We have a very tall house with limited roof space but the team were really smart in scoping the best solution. They stepped us through every stage, installed in a day and the end product looks great, works great and is already paying for itself.

Ours was a complex undertaking, requiring panels on the top of the 3rd floor roof at the front of the house and to a sloping roof at the rear of the house, requiring separate scaffolding. It was done in a day - albeit the scaffolding was already there before they arrived. The inner cables went under the flooring and hence could not be seen. It was a clever, rapid job. The company has my fullest recommendation. Here are shots of the work being done.

We are renovating our terraced house in a conservation area in London and Synth Solar supported us from the beginning of our solar journey to design the right system for our house. We have built a garden room and we have put 9 solar panels on the new metal roof. We put another 3 panels on our top roof dormer and also 3 on our mansard wall. Tom and Max were very hands-on and performed a site visit so we were all clear where equipment and cabling would go. On the basis of this they made a 3D plan so we always knew exactly what we could expect. Max was there for the installation itself and they co-ordinated with our onsite building team. The system is generating electricity nicely and we can monitor it with our Synth SunDial which comes as part of the price. For me communication is key and this company has been best-in-class for being available to answer questions from our side and for being proactive with information throughout the project. Couldn’t recommend them more.

As my house is a bungalow in a conservation area, it was really important that the solar installation looked good aesthetically. Synth did a great job on this by installing pitch black panels and customised solar “skirt” - this makes the panels look slick on the front of the house and in-keeping with the roof line. We managed to fit 16 panels on the house and we have essentially been “off grid” since then and selling a lot of electricity back to the grid.

Synth Solar did a great job designing and installing our solar power system. All the equipment they used was top quality, the installation is perfectly neat and actually looks really nice. Most of all the service from Max and Tom was fantastic throughout and we love being able to see how much power we are generating, using and storing!
