The Retrospect team from Flintshire did a great job installing solar panels and a new heat pump system, they were courteous and very helpful. After completing the job they left the property clean and tidy. There were a few small teething problems after the initial installation but communication and response via email and phone to fix the problem from Retrospect was very good. The installation was done in February.

A job I did with this company passed a c2 inspection and also swip guarantee but they still haven't paid after speaking with the customer who was more than happy with what we did. They with hold money all the time and it's not the first time they have done this to installers

A FABULOUS TRANSFORMATION BY RETROSPECT

So grateful for our installation which is NOT funded by the taxpayer but by the big energy companies. The team of installers who were here for 4 days were extremely diligent, hardworking and respectful. They made time to ensure we were happy with the placing of radiators etc. All their work was first class. Thank you Harry, Joe, Liam, Mark, Matt, John and Dave and not forgetting Lisa in the office. I would recommend RETROSPECTIVE everytime, absolutely NO negatives. Thank you Restrospect for changing our lives for the better.

Worst company you could ever choose, fraudsters, liers and the list goes on illegally witholding payments since november last year, fraudulently putting installer cards on quality mark warrenties when they knew installer wasnt on site (this ones guna sting) installing lofts when no insulation was required 😅 video and picture evidence and on going investigation pending!! bullying over messages when things dont go there way All staff bar 1 has now left due to the workplace bullying and the strongarm tacticks soon be gone from eco

This complaint isn't against the contractors .

This complaint isn't against contractors , except the roofers who just turned up when ever they wanted , the other contractors where excellent . This is against Retrospect personal who tried to bully us , lied to us and threatened us . We're OAPs so they thought they could just walk over us which they soon realised they couldn't . They tried to carry out work that we knew nothing about , plaster boarding in our bedrooms , extractor fans when we didn't need them Storage heaters l didn't need , and unless l took the heaters they wouldn't wire in the solar panels . At this moment in time we have a roofer , at our expense repairing slates , repairs to both the front of our cottages and rear , slates that were solid before the project started . This is a company I'd give less than one star if l could.

Second time of posting ( July 2024 ) August 2024 Retrospect have done a great job, respecting our property, and us, great team of lads Paul, Danny, Matty , Jason , very grateful would recommend on all levels ,high quality of workmanship , even power washed when completed 👍

Professional, efficient and friendly team

Danny Lunt the Electrician along with his colleagues, Jason & Matty (who fitted the internal wall insulation), all did a great job. My flat is tiny, so I decamped to Travelodge whilst Jason and Matty were doing the walls. However, I felt completely comfortable leaving them in my home alone. Equally, the dog and I felt comfortable sharing the confined space when it came time for Danny to fit the heaters and fans. I was amazed how efficiently he worked (my partner is an Electrician so I recognise a real professional when I see one).

Excellent team, Liam, Mark, Danny and Phill were very supportive, professional and courteous. The team explained all that was to happen how and where each component of the system was to be fitted and phill did an excellent work on all the woodwork involved throughout. Very professional company and highly recommend

Absolutely great install

Absolutely great install, Liam, Mark and Danny did a fantastic job installing solar pv, battery and heat pump. The systems been in a month and works an absolute treat, already saved over £300! All the work explained whilst they were doing the job and they took pride in their work throughout

Worst company I've worked for expected…

Worst company I've worked for expected to work for 11..5 hours and pay you for 8 hours and the list is endless you'll work for less than minimum wage

Absolutely brilliant company

Absolutely brilliant company, from start of the process to the end. I thought it would be ages, so new heatpump solar panels radiators! Dan the electrician came out for a few bits to rectify 6months later, so efficient, friendly, tidy, explained everything on my Solar panel app and set it up. Thanks Dan. Definately recommend.

What a fantastic team that came to set…

What a fantastic team that came to set up my solar pv system. Scaffolding arrived on Saturday. Up in no time at all no disturbance. Wednesday the solar panels arrived. Electrician Dan got straight to work. Highly professional and fantastic work. Fully explained what he was going to do and how he was going to lay every wire. Due to the location of my meter they had to install a solar meter on the wall right next to the panel. As this is a bedroom he also had a box made for it to protect and look nice. Throughout the works Dan was kind and polite even explaining to my very nosy 4 year old what he was doing. Works were done by Phil. Again fantastic job very efficient and attentive. Wanting perfection on everything he did. He built the box to cover the solar switch in the bedroom and fantastic work. He also fitted the electric wiring and put the trunking in the best places to hide them as much as possible. Loft insulation was done by Matty. Again polite and professional. My attic stands not much more than 24 inches tall at the highest point. And he was in there for a couple of hours laying insulation on top of what I already put there. Fighting with a very low roof and having to put insulation under the crossbeams would not have been easy. Also draft insulated the entrance to the loft. Scaffolding came down 24 hours after the job was ended. Had a couple of teething issues with the solars and the storage heaters which were quickly and easily sorted by the team. Great work, highly recommend!

The whole team did a great job from start to finish. I was apprehensive to start with but the process was made really easy. The instilation was top quality and I'm really happy with it.

5 Star service start to finish

Absolute great service from start to finish. Joe went above and beyond to guide us through the ECO4 grant process to arranging the actual installation. The team were punctual,polite and superb tradesman carrying out every job to a brilliant standard. I couldn’t recommend Retrospect Energy enough for turning our tired, cold and damp house to a beautiful cosy home again.

Shocking company

Shocking company, lies and promised and deliver nothing. Made contact over eco4 had survey and all seemed to be going Ok. House is grade two listed which they knew from start. At initial survey was told Would need second one with listed building expert no problem. Chased as hadn’t heard anything for three weeks and was informed expert on honeymoon was due back 4 days later and would get him booked in. This is where it started to show I was dealing with liars and cowboys primarily Joe. I chased constantly for the next 6 weeks with constant promises of call back always Joe ignoring requests for updates. Finally after really expressing my disappointment to Pete I get email from Joe now telling me they want me to apply for planning and when that’s approved they will do instal! I have no idea what to apply for planning on, I have no plans from them about locations etc totally farcical Situation. It feels unless it is big standard job that Joe doesn’t have to put any effort on to he will basically string you along the tell you to go away as that is what he has in effect done and all the while putting us 3 months behind as we now start process again. So please avoid at all costs plenty of companies out there don’t use this one

Joe at Retrospect was very helpful throughout the whole process, and the team who carried out the installation did a fantastic job. Overall couldnt fault the company, and we are made up that we went ahead with the solar panels.

Had a great install through the ECO4 scheme, i dealt with joe who took me through the process from application for the grant up to the install. I was sceptical of the grants available but i felt at ease and now have a much warmer house and didn't pay a penny. I couldn’t recommend their service enough.
