We had solar panels removed around make space for a velux window. The initial quote was £476, with reassurance that if the work took longer it would only be “slightly more”. However, the final bill came in at almost double this amount, and we were not contacted on the day to advise that costs were escalating or to seek approval before the work was completed. That said, communication during the dispute itself was polite and professional, and once we raised our concerns the company did engage constructively. They acknowledged that the wording used in the estimate was unhelpful and ultimately agreed to a reduced and more reasonable final price, which we appreciated. The work itself was completed, and while we were unhappy with how the pricing was handled initially, we were pleased that the matter was resolved amicably in the end. Clearer communication around estimates and cost overruns would significantly improve the experience.

A very positive experience. OHM installed an Air Source Heat Pump in May 2025. The whole process from initial survey to completion was friendly, professional and efficient. We are very happy with the quality of the work and would recommend OHM to anyone considering a heat pump.

The team of Russell, Simon, Henry, Gino, Adam, and Josh were cheerful and skilled in replacing all the radiators, siting the pump and squeezing the cylinder into a small space. A new shower was fitted very neatly. Everything is now in place and working. It's too soon to tell if the system will cope with cold weather, but so far so good. I can recommend OHM Energy as a heat pump installer.

Usually prompt communications - this year’s ASHP Certificate is much less informative than previous issues. Email advises “an expiry date listed on certificate” there is no expiry date!

I needed my air source heat pump serviced here in Crowborough. I couldn’t find a reliable engineer locally so I contacted OHM energy.The office staff were very helpful and positive.The engineer from OHM knew what he was doing, polite and on time. From initial phone call to job done, was within a week. I will use annually from now on..Very satisfied .

Bad customer service and Bad company

Text Edit My charger not working properly sent them 60 to 70 emails to have it sorted they sent a engineer out to look at at and he said it's not working properly and you need a new one this have been going on for months i been telephone them they keep saying a manager will phone me back still waiting they are the worst customer service i deal with keep way from this company they are no good and I dont think they get better User's recommendation: Keep away not a good company.

OHM fitted our Heat pump 4 years ago and we have been delighted with the efficiency of the system and the excellent customer service.They have now competed 3 annual services and have always been efficient and helpful. The most recent service was completed this week and was comprehensive in both technical service and administration. 5 stars... Phil

OHM Energy were called to investigate my hot water not heating up to temp. They charged me £305 never fixed the problem and gave me completely false information, which I assume to justify their charges. They said I needed to change a 3 way port valve which cost me another £280. All a load of rubbish. Called a local plumber, who reverted back to the OLD 3 way port valve as nothing wrong with it and found the actual issue which was a simple hot water leak. They company will claim my system is "complicated", I would suggest to OHM Energy if it is "complicated" then maybe they should try another business. In addition to that, if you can't find the fault, don't just make things up and incur more cost to your customer. Walk away with your call out charge and be happy. Waste of money.

OHM fitted an air source heat pump for us- It was a slightly tricky install into a fairly tight space that Octopus energy had said that they couldn't do. They came with the creative thinking required to route the pipework as straight forwardly as possible and fit a slimline cylinder into our smaller space. It was a 4 day job on the heat pump install with an extra day beforehand to upgrade some radiators. All the team were polite, professional and communicative. We are happy with the outcome.

Great solar engineers and support

Booking an engineer was very easy, despite how close it was to Christmas when I contacted them. The engineer arrived early which I appreciated. Work was done quickly and to the original price, they also gave me advice on my system and works that may be needed down the line.

OHM were amazing. We have a complicated system and it took a while to diagnose our issue, but both Keith and Ryan went above and beyond to resolve in the quickest and most economical way possible. Personable, helpful and very knowledgable. 5 stars

The OHM team made the design and installation of the underfloor heating and air source pump such an easy thing amongst all the chaos and disruption. All the staff who came on site were so agreeable and pleasant to have around. More than that, if you showed an interest they went out of their way to explain, teach and advise. Highly recommended.

OHM Energy have supported us through the whole process of getting solar panels on the roof, an air source heat pump combined with underfloor heating throughout the house. After a slightly rocky start which was probably due to us not understanding enough about the product & process everything is now finished & up and running. OHM have been really good to deal with & any issues were dealt with immediately. Thank you OHM! -

The service I received from OHM Energy was first class. Ryan was brilliant arranging the appointment and Michael, the engineer was so helpful. He patiently explained what he was doing offering lots of help and support. I’ll definitely be using them again to service my Samsung air heat source pump.

Really pleased with the work that the OHM team did on our ASHP installation. All seems to be in order. Look forward to testing it fully this winter. Dealing with this company from quotation through to completion of the install has been very straightforward. The installation team (led by Luke) were Gino, Paddy and Adam. They were all very pleasant, professional and efficient throughout, leaving everything very neat and tidy after each day's work. I also appreciate the fact that they removed our old storage heaters free of charge.

A follow up on my previous review.

A follow up on my previous review. They have now admitted that there is a problem with my charger! Instead of charging 6p a KW between 00:30 and 04:30, which is what I set the price cap at, it's still charging me 14p a KW twice as much! I have asked for a refund, this has been going on since December last year, won't hold my breath BUT I will NOT give up.

The Ohm team (Rob, Keith, Henry, Ivan and Adam) carried out the installation of our ASHP highly professionally and skilfully. The team were faultless in how they went about the work. Great experience with OHM Energy. We had Marley Solar panels installed by our brilliant roofer (first time he’d done it) but needed a solar company to complete the inverter install (and help us choose one) plus give us some advice on future battery installation. My experience on Bark and google was a lot of slightly flaky companies in this expanding area but OHM Energy were super professional and reassuring from the start. I spotted the MD Jason was also quoted on a Sunday Times article on solar which gave some other insight into how they’re seen in the industry. They were quite happy to help even though it was a part install and came out on site as well as giving the roofer some free advice on installation. Kudos to Matt and Jason for answering my infinite questions. Looking forward to getting to the battery installation with OHM Energy when the bank balance allows.

Ohm Energy recently carried out work to remove an d replace a solar thermal panel for me. In fact they have carried out maintenance on a heat pump installation for me over the last 11 years and have always been efficient and prompt. Keith has generally been the person carrying out the works and has done a great gob looking after us. no hesitation in recommending Ohm Energy

They have recently installed a air source heat pump to my house Keith was fantastic. On time, polite, tidy etc .. It's very rare to get first class service these days and when it happens it should be applauded. If you're planning to get air source heat pump, or just need to speak to a company to get solid advice, I cannot recommend Ohm energy enough .. 10 out of 10 guys well done

OHM were very efficient in installing our system back in 2015. We had an issue with a panel and the Chinese supplier was not helpful in not honouring the warranty. We did however eventually get it sorted and OHM kindly offered money towards the purchase of a new panel as goodwill. Thank you for finally allowing this to be resolved amicably.

Excellent customer service

We received speedy, helpful support when we had an emergency. The technician helped us to get our water supply going and how to manage the system to help the house work okay. We were able to communicate via video link and he guided us through the checks and found the problem. He phoned us back to check the system was operating okay and came out the next day.

I can’t speak too highly of Keith, engineer at OHM energy, who came and fixed our air source heat pump which broke down during freezing weather. The problem turned out to be complex, Keith came out to us three days in a row and with immense patience and perseverance he diagnosed and fixed it. He even phoned me on the fourth day to check all was well, which it was. A shout out too to Ryan in the office who was extremely attentive and responsive to our cries for help.

OHM is fantastic

OHM is fantastic. They've done my Heat Pump, my Tesla Powerwall 2, my 22 solar PV panels, and some major electrical reconfigurations to handle everything. In my opinion, I have no hesitation in highly recommending OHM Energy.

It has been a pleasure dealing with Paul, Emma, Ollie and Keith at OHM. I have had a ground source heat pump installed by them aswell as PV panel system. The work was prompt and efficient but in particularly the after sale service and customer care is excellent. It is a big outlay and they always take time to answer questions and queries. Saving up for my Powerwall battery now and will be using these guys!
