Installation I recently had solar panels and a battery system installed by Infinite Energy, and the whole experience has been excellent from start to finish. The installation was smooth, the communication was clear, and the workmanship was top‑tier. A special mention has to go to Tom Forster, whose advice genuinely set Infinite Energy apart. Tom took the time to walk me through not just the current setup, but also a realistic and cost‑effective upgrade path for the future. His guidance helped me make informed decisions without any pressure or upselling — just honest expertise. That kind of clarity is rare, and it made a huge difference. If you’re considering solar or battery storage, I’d strongly recommend Infinite Energy, and especially Tom. His knowledge and straightforward approach were invaluable, and I’m confident I’ve ended up with a system that’s both efficient today and ready for whatever I choose to add later.

We are delighted that we found Infinite Energy. From start to finish they were professional, efficient and helpful. They installed a new inverter and battery by Sigen quickly and neatly. It is working brilliantly. Combined with Octopus’s cheap night time rate we now charge the car, run dishwasher and washing machine for very little cost. I am recommending Infinite to all my friends and neighbours.

What I liked about this company , was they didn’t come with a hard sell, or a script they wanted to get through. They explained everything in ways we could understand and encouraged us to ask questions before deciding anything. The installation was quick and clean. Again things were explained if we had questions. Everything was discussed in advance. They were good!

I had the good fortune of finding Infinite Energy Group whilst I was researching solar for our property. To say that Mark was a breath of fresh air amongst a number of incredibly pushy and sometimes aggressive sales people is an understatement. Mark visited, he answered every question I had. He provided a detailed quote and that was that. At that point we weren’t in a position to move forward- absolutely no pressure from Mark, I didn’t hear from him again until I made contact to say we were ready to progress a year later. Mark checked the quote, re-issued it - the price had actually decreased slightly. The installation was absolutely hassle free, we had 26 panels and batteries. We were up and running quickly. The team were incredibly tidy and respectful of our property. I would not hesitate in recommending this company, they were fantastic from start to finish.

Great service and competitive pricing. My install was 10 solar panels and an 11kwh battery and it has already saved me so much money and a double benefit is infinity advised me to change my tariff with Octopus so im on a very cheap night time tariff to change my car and now im on a SEGs agreement which means I get paid by Octopus to export my surplus energy.. so a double benefit. They guys worked so hard in pouring rain and it was all hooked up in 1 day. All the bird nets are all in the price. I highly recommend Infinity Energy and you'll be very satisfied with their service.

Had our solar installation back in August 2025, Infinite Energy were from the outset of the project, professional in every aspect. The process started with an in depth site survey, were every aspect of the proposed installation was explained, at no point did we feel pressured into purchasing. Following acceptance of the quotation, at every stage leading up to the installation date we were kept informed of progress. On the day of installation the team arrived at the time stated and we're very efficient and professional in their approach to completing the installation.

From start to finish, this was a faultless experience. No pushy sales banter, just facts explained in an easy to understand way. Installation team were courteous and explained everything in detail leaving our house the way we would have expected. We can't fault the company and their professionalism throughout. Thank you.

Chose Infinite Energy because Mark made a great first impression — knowledgeable and not pushy. They weren’t the cheapest, but I felt confident. Installation went in just before Christmas and initially seemed fine. Once the balance was paid, support dropped off. I discovered the batteries were discharging into my Zappi EV charger — a known issue that wasn’t explained. I was promised a call to help resolve it, which never happened. I ended up fixing it myself by putting the Zappi on its own consumer unit, costing an extra £600. I had asked for a quote to add two panels. The price was extremely high. I got four independent quotes — all were at least £400 cheaper, and I eventually had four extra panels installed for less than Infinite Energy wanted for two. Other issues included flickering house lights when charging the EV, the Zappi getting soaked during installation (caught on CCTV), cables taped together behind the consumer unit, poor isolator positioning for future batteries, incorrect advice on RCBO requirements, and a burning smell under battery discharge until upgrades were made. A £250 goodwill gesture was offered, but it doesn’t come close to covering the additional costs. Good sales experience, but poor after-sales support and overpriced follow-on work. Customer service felt excellent — until the bill was paid.

We took over a house already fitted with solar panels. We didn’t have a clue how these work, nor the batteries that were housed here. I rang Infinite Energy, as previous owner told me they had installed these, and we arranged for a home visit. Tom came and couldn’t have been kinder than to spend time to talk us through how these work. Not only helped us with these, but suggested different tarrifs via our energy supplier so we fill the batteries when the energy cost is at its lowest. I’ve downloaded the app and can keep an eye on usage and how full the batteries are etc. Honestly to have this help was really gratefully received, we are no spring chickens so having all this explained was a gods send. We are saving on electrics as the panels charge on daylight not just the sun, Tom explained how we keep them clean more in summer due to dust etc. If you are hesitant getting panels installed, don’t be. These are the way forward and certainly monitoring and cutting bills are a way forward too. We thoroughly recommend to have these, especially installation and aftercare with Infinite. No I am not related or friend as the first time I have met Tom was after we moved in and I made that phone call.

Were very pleased with the perfomance of our panels and the battery setup. According to the app our system is producing around 9 kw/h per day, even at this time of year, ie. December- January ! The team installing were helpful and very efficient, completing in just a day with hardly any problem, apart from commissioning checks which meant some adjustment the following day. Overall we're very happy with the handling of the project and although its early days, we're looking to save a good amount on our electric bill over the year! At this stage it looks like a conservative saving of more than £750 per annum on our Electric bill. Peter Wright

The guys at Infinite energy were great to deal with. They were knowledgeable and not over selling. I felt I had a real solution with a long established company that will support me on my journey. The first month, even in the winter with little sun, had my monthly bills drop by 60%. I am looking forward to the spring and summer to see me selling back more to the grid and reducing the bills even more. They have supported me well and are there with any questions straight away. Following multiple searches and online and in person visits I selected Infinity Energy Group to install my Tesla Powerwall 3 system. This included 23 premium solar panels and two batteries and I’m extremely happy with it. From the initial consultation right the way through to completion and commisioning it was faultless. The system works flawlessly and the Tesla app makes it easy to track everything. Best of all my January electric bill in the first month was less than one quarter of what it was without the solar and battery system, I look forward to the spring and summer months. Even in overcast conditions energy still gets generated and stored which I wouldn't have expected. I would highly recommend Tom and his team with the Infinity Energy Group and the Tesla Powerwall system. The only criticism is everytime the sun comes out I'm checking the Tesla app to see how much energy I'm generating.

It’s been nearly a year since Infinite Energy installed our solar battery system. Mark, Tom and the rest of the team have been totally professional, which makes me happy to know there are still good trades providing excellent service in the UK. I wanted a system that would provide off grid back up if we had power cuts and batteries that would provide enough power for 80% of our needs. The system is from Growatt with 2x5kWH batteries and a solar array of 4.1KW with off grid switching for power cuts and additionally the team installed a Zappi car charger. The system works perfectly with excess electricity being sold back to the grid even in the winter months. The off grid part has also worked perfectly switching seamlessly over to the batteries on two occasions keeping the lights and heating running when the rest of the street was in the dark. Annual savings approximately £1000. I would definitely recommend Infinite Energy for your solar installation.

Faultless service from beginning to end! We had quotes from 2 other companies but didn’t feel confident with what they were offering. We were beginning to think we wouldn’t bother but luckily spoke to someone who had just had them fitted by Infinite Energy and recommended them. Tom suggested ideas and solutions and we had complete confidence from the first meeting. We went ahead and are so pleased with the service throughout and the end results. We would definitely recommend Infinite Energy.

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish! They came up with solutions to problems other companies had presented as immovable. Professional, quick to respond, knowledgeable and completely understand what the customer needs. They were able to talk us through exactly what would happen and installation was perfect. Don’t wait! Take the plunge and get Solar Installed. It really is that good. I just got fed up of my electricity direct debt getting bigger and bigger. However, knowing we were not high users I wasn't sure if solar was cost effective. Having had Infinite Energy's install of solar and battery for over 2 months now, it's a no brainier. Get it installed and save a lot of money from your electricity bills. I did my research and got 3 quotes. As a retired engineer I have an eye for detail and was looking for good equipment with a quality install. When Mark came round to discuss our needs there was no sales pitch just a survey, technical information and advice on what was needed to meet our expectations. He then went away and prepared our quote. I was instantly attracted to the technical knowledge, and competitive pricing. A date was agreed for install. Tuesday scaffolding, Wednesday install and Friday scaffolding removed. A great team and very professional. Clean, tidy and nothing was too much trouble for them. They listened to how I would like the system to look when finished the Infinite team went to work & I have finished up with a fantastic install. A few days after the completed install I received the comprehensive install/warranty pack. I am extremely happy with the whole process and the continued support from the Infinite Energy Team. Five Stars all the way and I have no hesitation in recommending Infinite Energy for all your solar needs.

After a quick phone call and review of our house on google maps we arranged for Mark to visit. Him taking the time to scope it without any pushy sales and just presenting the options was so refreshing. We received quotes shortly after the visit. Again there was no chase up or weekly phone calls while we assessed. When I got back in touch 3 months later it was seamlessly booked in around other work we were having done. The install team were brilliant on the day and the support from Mark and co also fantastic. Love the panels. It’s an upfront cost but totally worth it. We’re delighted with our new solar panels and can highly recommend Infinite Energy for their efficient, friendly and professional service. We initially got a few quotes and home visits and Mark impressed us with his straightforward, personable approach and factual, data-driven presentation. It was interesting to note that the energy obtained from the panels depends on daylight hours, not only sunshine. After a site visit to assess the most suitable package we decided on 12 panels plus a battery and inverter, for a comparatively reasonable outlay. Communication was great and the whole installation completed in a day. The team worked really brilliantly to set it all up and left everything clean and tidy. We are still fixated with the app which tells you how much energy the panels are producing! You can see how full the battery is and any excess can be exported back to the grid, plus we can have a cheaper overnight rate from our energy provider to store in the battery. Great firm to get you solar with

I signed up to a website to obtain a few quotes for a solar installation and was inundated with phone calls, most were those “desktop exercises” which I didn’t feel comfortable with. Only two firms expressed interest any in visiting my property, which I knew would present some installation challenges. Of those 2 firms was Mark of Infinite Energy Group, who spoke from an installers point of view, which I found easy to understand and did not include an unnecessary upselling, unlike the alternative firms “sales man”. In my further research the on-line reviews for Infinite Energy Groups were all sterling and my actual experience of IEG was also top notch. The team were punctual, talked me through the challenges with running my cabling and the solution available. Once we decided the most appropriate way to deal with the cabling, the whole team were quick, clean and a pleasure with work with. The IEG team showed they had integrity and the customer at the centre of their thinking, as they even saved me some money off their already competitive price by not installing a 13th panel which would have been not been very efficient as it would have been covered in shade most of the time. What more could you ask for? After sales service has been great also, with Mark responding quickly to the various queries I had in learning to utilise the system, the software provided and my utility tariff options. Solar panels installation

Jake and his team arrived nice and early and started to install the 13 solar panels, inverter, battery storage system and EV charger immediately. They all worked very hard, professionally and with good humour, they completed the whole job, remarkably,just a few hours later. Jake walked & talked us through all the completed works clearly and fully explained everything about our installation. We can fully recommend this company for their efficient, tidy and professional approach to the works. Many thanks to Jake and his great team, well done!

Better than I expected results from solar

Excellent service throughout. After site visit a suitable system was identified and agreed. What they needed me to do was made clear and all materials were delivered on the Friday ready for a Monday install. Tom and his team arrived at 8 am and were finished quicker than I expected. A full explanation of the app showed just how much the system produces and my usage etc. Very pleased with system and service. If you’re considering solar energy I’d Highly recommended giving these a call.

They worked out a very generous deal for us so that we didn't lose out, and helped us with each step of the project. The work was done to a high standard, the team were very professional, and have offered excellent after installation care and support. I'm extremely happy with the work they have done, and I'm very glad to have found them.

Mark and his team have been great to work with from start to finish. From meeting Mark when he came to quote, the scaffolders who were great to Jack and his team of fitters who managed to complete the whole install in under a day. I can’t say enough about what a great experience it has been. They were recommended to me by a friend who’d just had a job done by them and I can see why. This is what customer service is all about. From quotation to installation and follow up the team at infinite energy were absolutely faultless. The quote was very detailed and reasonable, they were able to install within a few weeks of quoting. On install day a full team arrived and did the job quickly, quietly and efficiently. They cleaned up properly after themselves and, apart from the panels in the roof you wouldn’t know there was a system installed. Not one visible wire or any conduit at all. After install we were given a very detailed lesson in using the system and the infinite team have been happy to help with any questions ever since. We would highly recommend infinite to anyone. Great people and excellent work.

Great solar installation company

Tom and the install team were great. They worked hard to ensure that the cable runs worked and didn't damage the property. We were not an easy installation. The scaffolding arrived on time and the team followed the next day. We were charging the batteries by early afternoon.
