Very positive experience with Richard's electrical work. A while ago he fitted our new kitchen lights and as well as being efficient and tidy he also was helpful un suggesting what type of fitting would work well. This year he has installed an outside socket, and did a significant amount of work disconnecting an old garage then returning when the replacement building had been installed to provide a completely new electrical circuit including two new fuse boxes. Again he was helpful in advising on appropriate light fittings. Very happy to recommend his work.

Bang on - Richard sorted out meter issues and restored power when Octopus failed to turn up. He did much more in the build-up, during which he was polite, tidy, efficient, thoughtful, helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating. 👍👍👍

Excellent quality electrical work from Richard including new consumer unit and wiring. We had a short deadline to get some wiring finished before ceilings were due to be plastered and Richard made sure that everything was ready in good time for the work to start. Really pleased.

We have used R West Electrical for some years now, and always found them to be responsive, reliably competent, truly helpful, and fairly priced. Just a week ago we had to call them in to resolve a problem which needed a fairly radical solution, and it was done quickly and with minimum fuss. Excellent electricians.

Could not have had a better experience. Richard himself came to look at job within 24 hours of first contact and sent a team in to do the work a few days later. They were very efficient and a pleasure to have working in our property. Richard was very flexible about follow up work which was sorted at a second visit. A model of good service.

Richard and Sam did a great job of installing an EV charger, particularly squeezing the new consumer unit into limited space. They simply cracked on with the job, I barely knew they were here and they were done super quick. Neat and professional install, with all the necessary certification provided. Would highly recommend.

Being new to the area and wanting to support local businesses, I contacted Richard West Electrical for some electrical work in our garden, garage and house linked to lighting and new sockets. Richard was prompt to take a look and provided a competitive quote which we accepted. He fitted our work in around the Landscaping contractor and was helpful with design improvements such as remote control switching. The work was good quality, tidy and they turned up on time every visit. So I would not hesitate in recommended this young electrician for any electrical work and I will certainly use him again.

Richard was very responsive to my need for an EV charging point to supply my new Tesla. Being an accredited installer of the Zappi Smart Charger Richard came out quickly to survey the job and submitted his quotation. The installation followed soon after and was completed smoothly with great attention to detail and minimum disruption leaving the working area clean and tidy A first rate job. I will certainly use Richard for my future electrical works.

Richard arrived on time to carry out the work, and was most efficient and effectively finished the work in no time at all, completing all the work as described in his written quotation. Excellent tradesmen. Mr West and his assistant arrived at their estimated time, tidy, clean and well mannered. They sourced the problem quickley and carried out and tested an efficient repair. This is the second time I have used the firm,on both occassions they have been first class.

I am so pleased with the work carries out by Richard. We had a complete rewire of a 3 storey town house. He had some great ideas, and nothing was too much trouble. He was very tidy, and mindful of leaving our house in as clean a state as he could. Lovely finishing off too, with no need for a plasterer. He even fitted and hung all of our new lights. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Excellent!

Richard did a great job in our recent extension; from surveying the current system, installing new points, lighting and upgrading the fuse board, to installation of a new smoke alarm system. He was great to work with and advised on the best things to do. We would highly recommend his work.

Richard recently completed a re-wire on our house. The job was done pefectly and all on time. Richard and his colleague went above and beyond and when I asked to add a couple of other things onto the job this was no problem at all.
