Shane and his team supplied and fitted our solar panels and two battery packs, as well as wiring in our new heat pump. Wiring is a thing of beauty, so neat and tidy with everything labeled and monitors mounted in sensible locations. We are now 8 months on and our experience with the solar output has almost exactly matched the output shown in the excellent report he provided with the quotation. Brilliant personal service and attention to detail, if you want top class work look no further!

We had a set of batteries and a new inverter fitted to go with our 15 year old (FIT qualifying) solar installation. Shane was really helpful, explaining the pros and cons of the various options, quoting three of them for me, and did a fantastic job of the install. We've saved so much money with the first install that we have decided to double our battery capacity already and have asked Shane to do the upgrade. I reached out to Shane looking for a quotation for a potential Solar & Battery installation, initially finding him as a GivEnergy approved installer along with his locality. An initial quote was provided, and after going away to do some of my own research following his advice around my particular second array proposal we agreed on an alternative system - using Fox ESS for my inverter & battery (which I'm super pleased with) along with AIKO to maximise my solar array. This purposeful & practical advice was invaluable in my view to optimising my current (immediate) and future financial returns on my investment. I'd encourage anyone looking at getting either a PV or battery installation to take advantage of Shane's experience to specify a system that is personal to you and your needs over and above perhaps just taking an off the shelf package. Pricing was super transparent, fair and equitable for both parties. My G99 application was submitted and approved in advance of installation at 10.5kW, with all DNO correspondence including obtaining the Export MPAN being handled by Relative Power & the team. Delivery of service was timely & prompt, each day Relative Power team attended they made sure to tidy up after themselves without request. The quality of work I cannot endorse more highly, and the best way to do it justice is to look at the photos of my installation - the attention to detail is so good you perhaps can miss it. There were a couple of minor system issues post commissioning that required addressing, wholly understandable with such a complex project but nonetheless these were fixed & remediated promptly. Don't underestimate the value and skill required to do this work, to these extremely high standards. For those that are looking to dabble into Home Assistant to further leverage your Solar & Battery system, this was wired up for me as part of my installation including wiring of necessary cabling, connection of Modbus to the Inverter etc. Hayley provided super quick responses across a range of matters too supporting Shane & the Relative Power team including some basics that are super valuable - confirmation of payment, confirmation of payment being received, payments being made, date of works etc. From the initial meeting I felt that I could trust Relative Power, Shane, Hayley & team and following my installation that trust remains ever present. There was no stress or inconvenience. I first came to deal with Shane from Relative Power when I got in contact to request a quote for solar PV and battery install in 2022. I was thoroughly impressed with the process from start to finish. Shane arrived and conducted a survey before sitting down with me and going over exactly what I wanted and what in turn was practical. He was very patient in producing a number of different quotes and designs for different size and orientation of systems. This was a marked difference to some of the larger national chains who came to quote who seemed to be more interested in selling a set package rather than listening to what I actually wanted and then making suggestions on how to find the best fit. The install was quick and tidy and Shane was on hand to ensure any teething problems were swiftly dealt with. The GivEnergy system installed is straightforward to use and is already doing a fantastic job of running the house and saving me money. We've already had one power cut in the area which has enabled us to test the battery backup and it operated flawlessly. Overall I was really impressed with Relative Power and have already recommended them to friends and family who are planning similar installs in the future.

We were considering for a number of years having Solar Panels fitted to our property, and in light of current energy prices, we decided to go ahead. We found Shane through a recommendation, and he came round to our house and put together the design for a Givenergy Solar Hybrid system. The system was installed very quickly with minimal disruption. Our battery was installed in the loft, so we have had no damage internally from routing cables which was perfect for us. Shane was polite, helpful and provided assistance post installation with any queries we had. The system itself has been fantastic, and i feel its one of the best investments in our property we have ever made.
