From initial contact to installation & commissioning, the team at GJM provided an exemplary service, with prompt, friendly, clear & helpful communication at every stage. GJM were one of the very few companies I approached to take my researched requirements & chosen specification seriously, & not apply pressure to accept their preferred solution. Preparation with Gavin was thorough & professional, with a meeting to confirm specifications & a site survey to finalise installation details. On the day, Jamie & his team did a really competent, efficient & clean installation. Disruption was kept to a minimum & we were kept fully informed of progress throughout. Despite some awkward cable routing work that extended the final stages, they didn’t rush to finish & patiently explained the system operation to me late in the evening, a credit to them & the company. Having reported a problem with the system’s operation, they responded immediately & came to diagnose & fix the issue next day. The whole process, from enquiry to handover was smooth, professional & friendly. GJM is a family business & all involved give impeccable customer service & satisfaction a high priority. I am delighted with the outcome & highly recommend them.

Gavin, Ellie, Jamie and the team did a brilliant job. Everything went smoothly and within a fortnight of us making enquiries our panels and battery were fitted and working. We especially appreciated that Gavin came out to do a survey using a drone, rather than relying on photos and Google maps as some competitors do. This allowed one more panel to be fitted than we had previously been quoted. It was also good that the scaffolding was only in place for a short time before and after the installation, reducing the risk of the house being vulnerable to burglars. Ellie did a great job with the paperwork, always promptly responding to queries, and Jamie proficiently took us through the completed system and app, answering all our questions. I would highly recommend GJM if you are looking at getting Solar Panels and Battery installation. From the very first Zoom call with Gavin, to go through the initial quote and our requirements, and then communicating with Ellie and Jemma in the office we knew had made the right choice. The quote was very competitive and no unnecessary up selling of kit, they just listen and give their honest advice and recommendations to best suit your needs and budget. Once booked in the communication was great on the lead up to the scaffolding and installation dates. Everyone that came on site was easy to deal with and very professional. Jamie did a great job of keeping us up to date and answered any questions with ease. Overall we are super happy we went with GJM for our solar panels and battery install - just want to say a massive thank you to all of the team!

The whole process from the first meeting I had with Gavin was perfect. All the contacts I had were professional and I was kept up to date from order to installation day. The team who completed the work were tidy and considerate throughout. Jamie took time after the installation to take us through the app and explain what we might want to do to manage the system the most cost beneficial way. Our install was in early January and I am really surprised by the level of generation from the solar panels, even on a ‘no sun’ day. I wholeheartedly recommend GJM.

We have been impressed with GJM Energy - for their prompt and excellent customer service, detailed face to face advice, and explanatory information of how the system works etc and what we can expect in terms of return on investment. Installation was very efficient and completed in just a few hours as planned. So far we have been very pleased.

We were very pleased with our experience with GJM Energy, we got a couple of quotes but were keen to use a local business and we felt the quote we received was fair. It was reassuring to know that support was available after our installation and the customer service we have had from all the team, Gavin, Ellie, Jemma and Jamie was excellent throughout. Excellent service from start to finish. Gavin started with a Zoom call to discuss requirements and was very clear on the options, likely costs and timing. All aspects of installation were on schedule, with the full install (panels, gateway & battery) all done in one day. Am very impressed and would recommend highly.

GJM Energy has been a great company to deal with for our Solar Panel installation. Gavin came to our house to quote (unlike some companies that ask you to take photos). He was knowledgeable and able to explain the proposed system (panels, battery and inverter). The quote was not the cheapest but being local, Gavin was able to reassure me that support would be available (if needed) after the installation. GJM assign a Project Manager to liaise before, during and after the installation. Jamie arranged to come to site before the install to check that the installation process went would go as planned and to explain what would happen on the day. The installation process went as planned with scaffolding going up and the installation taking place on the scheduled day. Installation was only one day and it all went as planned. After the installation, Jamie dealt with the handover of documentation and explained each of the components and controls (apps). The certification for the install (which allows us to sell energy back to the grid) was sent through the day following the installation. The installation team left the site nice and tidy. I would definitely recommend GJM Energy for your Solar Panel system installation. Thanks Gavin, Jamie, and all the rest of the team!

I have only positive things to say about GJM Energy. Gavin and the entire team were amazing from the first virtual consultation, to installation and the post install aftercare. Gavin's advice and proposal was honest and took my requirements into account. All communications were prompt and transparent , and the team went above and beyond to provide great service. Jamie made sure that the installation was executed exactly as planned, and Ellie was on top of all the paperwork and admin tasks in the background to make sure everything ran like clockwork. I would highly recommend GJM Energy to anyone looking to get solar and or battery storage installed.

Went to 4 companies enquiring about Solar Panels. GJM Energy was recommended to me by a neighbour who had their Panels and battery Installed by this company and we're very happy with the service they had received. My personal experience was no different. Gavin came to do the assessment, and was extremely informative and gave a real sense of pride of proposing the best solution. After the visit, was always quick to answer via message or phone call discuss any queries. Price is bang on for the equipment and service provided. Order placed and installation carried out with no issues. All as to planned dates. Great communication throughout. Very happy customer.

Excellent service all round from this company. From initial meeting to completion everyone at GJM communicated well and keep us updated on progress. Quite possibly the least stressful process from start to finish that I have ever experienced. Gavin and his team guided us through a fully consultative process ensuring that the solar system we purchased was correct for our requirements. The installation team arrived and were polite, cleaned up after themselves and treated our property with the same care they would their own. Post installation their after care team have been brilliant, answering questions and supporting us through the minefield of electricity suppliers. I really can’t recommend these guys enough.

I did some research on these guys for solar and battery installation, I chose right-they were incredible. We needed a quick installation so the plan was to have the scaffold put up at 7am, solar and battery fully installed and commissioned and then scaffold removed the next morning. I was sceptical this was possible and remember saying ‘I’ll be really impressed if you pull this off’. Well, it was no problem for them. Fully commissioned, neat, tidy and scaffold was down by 10am the next day. The team of scaffolders, roofers, electricians and project managers run like clockwork. Communications and all required admin was effortless from GJM. I’ve honestly never been so impressed with a job.

Upon meeting Gavin and indeed reading GJM's reviews my decision was made and trust me i did my homework ! GJM Energy are very professional and helpful in all aspects of purchasing a solar system from the initial discussions to planning preparation and installation. All members of their team have been helpful and courteous and made the whole process hassle free. I am sure we will be talking with them post installation until we get fully familiar with all issues of our solar installation.

I am extremely impressed by GJM Energy from the beginning to the end of my solar PV installation and I could not have asked for more from Gavin and the GJM team. At the first visit there was no sales pressure, just information and advice, and prompt answers to later follow up questions over subsequent days. Once we had decided to go ahead, all the small details of the installation were agreed with us, the work was scheduled to fit in with our needs, and went ahead smoothly according to plan. The whole team kept us updated with progress, made sure we were happy with what was being done at every stage of the job, and the work was completed quickly with everything being left clean and tidy. Gavin visited a week later to make sure we were happy with everything and helped us through the official paperwork, leaving with the comment "If you need any more help just get in touch". The system itself is performing well up to my expectations and Gavin's predictions.
