I cannot recommend this solar panel company highly enough. As I have difficulties with spoken and listening English, I reached out to five different companies for a quote. This was the ONLY company that agreed to conduct all communication via WhatsApp, while the others insisted on phone calls, making the process incredibly difficult for me. Their commitment to customer needs started immediately. Simon clearly and patiently explained every detail of the quotation in writing, often using simple language when I needed clarification, which was a huge relief. Furthermore, I had a specific requirement for a particular panel brand. Simon went above and beyond, putting in the necessary effort to find the source for the exact panels I needed, succeeding where all the other companies simply could not fulfil my requirements. The installation itself was flawless. Adam and Sam were professional, on time, and extremely tidy throughout the process. We had a fantastic experience with TEC Electrical and Solar ltd who helped design and install a solar installation. The company's communication with us was excellent from start to finish. The team of Simon Bedson, Adam and Sam was not only professional and highly knowledgeable but also extremely customer focussed, friendly and helpful. As were the excellent scaffolders who worked in dire weather conditions to ensure the works were completed to the agreed timescales. They all made sure we understood every detail and were always available to answer our queries. The installation went smoothly, the site was left clean and tidy, and we are very impressed with the final result which went live on 1/09/2025 without any snagging issues. Simon your knowledge of the product and advice you have given has been extremely helpful delivering exactly what I wanted from the start. I mentioned to you I wanted to install air heat pump and you've taken that on board and suggested a larger inverter to future-proof the system and make it easier to add air source heat pumps later. The installation itself was smooth, efficient, and completed to a very high standard for which I’m extremely happy with the results and would not hesitate to recommend you Simon from TEC.

This is a good small company to deal with and it's local to me. I value personal service. Clean, neat and tidy work done quickly once work started. Excellent aftersales and backup. A fault developed after about 12 months, with one of the batteries, and was rectified quickly. Highly recommended.

Very impressed with Simon and his team who fit a Hypervolt EV charger for me at home. He responded to my initial enquiry within an hour (on a weekend) and was able to get the job done within days once I had found a car, so the charger was all up and running before I collected it. Very neat job running the cable behind a downpipe and reconfigured the fuse board to make it work. All in a very tight hot dusty roof space. 100% recommend.

TEC attended promptly for quotation (install two 32A circuits for future use of Kiln and EV) and gave considered opinion plus costings. On the day of install the workers arrived on time and reviewed the scope. The work was performed with minimal disruption and afterwards all mess was cleared. The installation was very neat and we discussed the install and future maintenance requirements.

Had a great experience with Tec Solar and would recommend them if you are thinking of having solar panels installed. Simon was very patient with us as we changed our minds a few times. He would explain the pros and cons of things we were curious about, and together we developed a great product that met our needs. Adam and Sam were the primary individuals responsible for the installation. They were also very friendly and helpful, considering we both work from home and they needed to briefly switch off the power, they accommodated us to do so at a more convenient time. Simon and his team placed an OHME charging pod at my old property. When I moved house, Simon uninstalled it and looked after the pod for me until I moved. He then reinstalled it at my new house and he and his team then tackled a huge amount of electrical jobs that badly needed doing over a period of a few weeks. They are a lovely bunch of people! Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Their work is of a very high standard and nothing is too much trouble at any time of day. Simon has even answered questions over whatsapp to help and popped round to help me. I will not hesitate to use Tec Electrical again. Highly recommended.

We were recommended this firm for our solar installation, and could NOT be more impressed, frankly. From first contact to handover, they were professional, and very responsive. We had a full proposal based on Google Earth survey within a few days of first contact. A really detailed proposal, based on two possible scenarios for battery capacity. They were also happy to site-visit (some companies such as Octopus require a deposit paid before doing this) and this was helpful as our house had no obvious site to locate the equipment. Once on site, the install team were a delight to have around. From start to finish, three days, perfect handover, and their assurance that they will be there for us going forward if needed. This is an assurance I am very comfortable with.

From start to finish this was a very smooth operation. Simon visited the house to ensure it was suitable for solar panels and a battery, offering us great advice with a range of options and was able to fit around our dates for installation. Sam and Adam who installed the system were polite, efficient and tidy explaining each process to us and where there were options and decisions to be made they very much included us the process. Throughout the installation and beyond Simon was at the end of the phone to answer all our questions about the system and the various apps. We were grateful to have a final visit from Simon to talk us through everything in person. The process felt stress free and a month in we are delighted with the system.
