Great Solar PV and Battery install

We had Solar North install solar pv and battery through the Green Homes Wales scheme. From the outset of the project to the finish, Dave from Solar North was great, guiding us through everything we needed to know and how the project would proceed, with lots of clear information on options. The project took a while to be funded through GHW and Dave was very patient with us during the process. The install was carried out by HSB Renewables who work closely with Solar North and they were professional, knowledgeable and helpful throughout. Post installation support has been great as well and I'm reassured that help will be available if needed in the future. All in all I am happy to recommend.

Fantastic service

Excellent personal attention from David and the installation team. There were some issues with the battery that were dealt with (not the fault if the installers). All left very tidy.

Battery charging problem

My storage battery stopped charging and the installer has ceased trading. After months of trying to contact the manufacturer via Whats App, telephone , email and talking to a chatbot with completely zero reponse I contacted Solar North (very local to me) who suggested the answer over the phone, came out and sorted the problem in a few hours. The system is now working again perfectly. Brilliant service !!

Air source heat pump, solar panels and battery installation

System (air source heat pump, solar panels and battery) all worked well from date of commissioning. Inside and outside left tidy. A couple of small issues quickly resolved. Installers were all very polite.

Outstanding customer service of solar panel system

We contacted Solar North as the company that installed our solar panel system in our community centre did not even reply to emails when the system installed failed to work correctly. I contact Solar on Wednesday morning and they came on site the same afternoon. Their renewables manger, David Jones spent over 2 hours correcting the other company’s mistakes - David showed patience and skills in identifying the root causes of the problem and solving them. Charging Point Installation

Had a charging point installed - all trouble free, located where I wanted and cabling done with the least amount of disruption possible. Appointment made and the guys turned up exactly when expected. Good clean job.

I had been very badly treated by a solar company based in Colchester who, when all the work they had done failed, refused to correspond with me about getting the system working again. I finally decided to go to a local company. Solar North responded right away, and Dave came when he said he would, and got my system working again in no time at all. I will now go to Solar North with any future problems. Highly recommended!!!

Great friendly service

Great friendly service, perseverance when a problem arose to find a suitable solution. Reasonable prices. Definitely recommend David and his team.

These folks installed my solar panels and monitoring system in 2017. They did a full blown check to make certain that the system would work and also sorted my feed in tariff with B Gas our energy supplier. Never had any problems and the solar panels have saved a lot of energy that has given us a payback of 5-6 years. Now we are considering installing a battery storage system with these same engineers. Can't say much more other than what a good job they did for us . Thanks guys. .

Dave came to my house to fix my solar…

Dave came to my house to fix my solar battery which has been a problem. It is now working properly for the first time in 2 years They are now going to service my heating pump annually. Thoroughly recommend this company they actually know what they are doing.

I contacted several solar panel…

I contacted several solar panel companies regarding the 12 year old inverter linked with solar panels not showing “green” on a sunny June day. Following a few questions Dave Jones of Solar North offered to come to see the system as he suspected loose cable. He arrived on the agreed day & very knowledgeably secured the loose cable & system was up & running. I couldn’t ask for more. I would highly recommend Solar North St Asaph 25th June 2925

Efficient and friendly service

Contacted Dave at Solar North because of a problem I had with my solar system. He quickly came to my house and it wasn't long before he'd put the system back to normal. He was very friendly and obviously very knowledgeable and I would have no hesitation in recommending him and Solar North. Excellent service.

5 star service

I called out Solar North as I had problems with my Air Source heat pump control. They came out swiftly and recommended a new suite of WiFi controls. The whole set is functioning much better now. I was impressed by their methodical approach and will be using Solar North for my annual service from now on

EV charger installation

I've had an EV charger installed by Solar North. They turned up on time and were very attentive of where I wanted the point. The engineer was friendly and set the app up on my phone. Their pricing was fair. Would use them again.
