Passive Instal were a professional company from start to finish and answered all my questions quickly and provided me lots of useful information bespoke to my situation. The installation was delivered on time and I am very pleased with it! Would definitely recommend anyone looking to have solar panels installed or even thinking about it to give them a call.

I can say that for Passive Install there is no job too hard. From first contact with them they answered all our questions. Prepared quote to suit our needs. And did not hesitated accept work in Wales despite that company is from Newcastle area. They been super professional and very helpful on every stage of the process. 5 stars is very well deserved.

I was very sceptical at first. Living in the UK, especially in the north, I always thought solar panels just weren’t worth it because of the weather, and that most solar companies overpromise and then disappear. This company genuinely changed my view. They explained everything clearly from the basics, cleared up a lot of myths and showed how solar panels and battery storage actually work in real UK conditions. It felt honest and straightforward, not like a sales pitch... The installation was quick, smooth, and hassle-free, and the team were great to deal with. Even after installation, they’re always happy to help with questions about the app or the system. We’ve already installed a full system on one house. For our second property, the roof is unfortunately in very poor condition, and the installer was honest enough to advise that it may not safely support the weight of panels. Because of that, we’re now looking at a battery and inverter setup instead, so we can still save on electricity and sell energy back to the grid. Highly recommended, especially if you’re unsure about solar in the UK.

The team guided us step-by-step, from installation to getting our export tariff set up. Thanks to their efficient support, everything was running smoothly within a month. Once installed, the system requires almost no involvement from your end—most upgrades and calibrations are done remotely, making it a seamless experience. On installation day, the crew worked impressively fast, completing everything within a single (long) day despite a bit of miscommunication with the scaffolding. They were still able to fit the panels on both sides of the roof, which was a great effort. The installation itself was done to the highest standard, with all cables and wiring neatly tucked away, almost invisible. Indoors, all connections were cleanly run to the garage, where the battery and inverter are housed. The end result is fantastic, both in function and appearance. The Passive Instal team is not only skilled but also friendly, approachable, and highly communicative. Any questions are answered quickly, and you genuinely feel valued as a customer. We even ended up with 14 panels for the price of 12, which was a nice surprise! The system comes with a mobile app and a more detailed web version, both of which are regularly updated, enhancing the overall user experience.
