Really excellent communications throughout the process, including lots of questions I asked quickly answered. Install was efficient and tidy, and post install follow up chats really helpful. Prices are excellent - I hunted around a lot to compare. Highly recommended.

BEWARE !! Sunlight may have an impressive web site , but their after service is woefully lacking. My company has a £30M (property development) pipeline so you would think they would give my personal needs proper consideration. WRONG - despite several calls before Christmas to rectify problems in my own home, they failed to call back- and I’m still waiting late January. My strong advice - look elsewhere.

Having been told by a competitor that our battery was dead and needed replacing, we decided on a second opinion from Sunlight, who successfully created new life in the existing battery, at a price just a fraction of the cost of a new battery. Watch out for companies who offer a swift solution at a high price.

Sunlight Future were recommended to us by a friend as a solar panel installer who would do a good job at a fair price and that was our experience. From the initial survey through presenting the possible options, answering queries and then carrying out the installation we were impressed with their expertise and efficiency in carrying out the work. The system is performing as expected and we are delighted with the result. The only glitch in the process, the disposal of tiles removed, was rapidly sorted. Overall, thoroughly recommended.

So, we had spoken with two solar energy companies, so far we’re not impressed, then we called Sunlight Future Ltd. Finally a breath of fresh air. James who took our call was extremely obliging and understood from the outset what we needed to do. We felt immediately at ease, especially with the complexities of solar installations. Over the following weeks the various staff, Jeffin and company, put together a plan. We undertook a survey, which was professionally conducted and very thorough. The two days of installation was conducted by a very friendly professional team managed by Rupert. Day two was primarily Rupert, who went beyond the call of duty and subsequently made a third visit several days later to thoroughly check a meter installation. Truly cannot fault the the work by the entire team. Extremely courteous, cleaned up as they went and left a very smart tidy job. It truly pays to seek out small local businesses who are competing with larger energy companies. Ten out of ten from us, thank you.

Recommended! Efficient professional company to deal with. Had a 9.9kw, 21 panel system across 3 sides. Competitive and fair priced quote compared to few other companies. Pleased with result and now generating and exporting excess electricity.

Sunlight Future installed a new solar panel and battery system at our house and we are delighted with the results. The company were excellent to deal with, very efficient, professional and attentive to any questions we had. The install team were punctual, tidy, polite, and a pleasure to deal with. Having had an excellent experience 4 yrs ago having a Tesla Powerwall/Battery and solar panels fitted, it is with some dismay I share my dealings with the company over the past couple of months when requesting a quote for an EV charger to be fitted. After an initial consultation with Jeffin Mathew on the 2nd Jan 2025, I was advised verbally pricing approx £1k + for Gen 3 Tesla EV charger and £2K+ for My Energy Zappi, but a formal quote would be forthcoming the following week. After a couple of weeks I followed up with a reminder but still nothing in writing. On the 16th Feb, I spoke with James who apologised for the delay, a formal quote arrived the following day for both EV chargers, Tesla quote £2,028 fitted & Zappi £1,938 fitted. On reminding Jeffin that he had indicated to me the Tesla charger was approx £1000 cheaper than the Zappi in our conversation a month or so previous, and that his competitors were also charging £1,000 for the Tesla Gen 3 charger fitted, with out any real explanation, the price was reduced by £700, to £1,300 their final and best price, take it or leave it. Given their price was still £300 more than their direct competitors, I highlighted my intent to go elsewhere and my disappointment in their lack of apparent transparency and customer service. Given my previous custom of Solar and Tesla Power wall installation, I have to say I am disappointed with Sunlight Futures response to my enquiry, both in terms of having to both to chase up a response a month or so after the enquiry and then having to query the pricing being offered, it being close to double the final price offered. I emailed Oli & James the message below, but to date have received no further response. Oli / James I am surprised at the above, ‘the devil is in the detail’ as they say, and your business would certainly not warrant the 5* recommendation I would have given it 2 yrs ago post installation. My advice anyone using this company, do your due diligence or you may end up paying through the nose as I almost did.

I'd highly recommend Sunlight Future having had PV panels installed by them. I had scaffolding up for another job and they were able to quickly organise the install to take advantage of the access saving a big cost! Everyone was friendly and worked efficiently leaving everything tidy. Panels have been working great and I am very happy with the system.

I would highly recommend Sunlight Future for solar PVs and battery. They are a local Bristol specialist in renewables. Their quote breakdown was very clear and the installation team led by Abi was great. Always clean and tidy and clearly answered my questions. I had a 6.3 kWp solar panel and 9.5 kWh battery system fitted. Sunlight Future provided an accurate quote (actually the cheapest too) with a detailed report. They were very helpful regarding our questions about the system and other options and they sent a surveyor to our house (43 miles away) to assess the installation. The work was completed on time, to schedule and at the agreed price. All of the staff/workmen were polite, friendly, hard working and helpful. After 11 weeks the system has worked well with no issues and generated 1298 kWh of power which is similar to the estimated power in the quote (bit less, poor weather though!). I would strongly recommend them.

We chose Sunlight Future because they were clearly knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the technologies and products. We received good advice and a couple of alternative quotes with the differences being well explained. The installation was on time and performed with minimum of fuss. The whole team were polite and helpful. The system has been performing well against the estimates in the proposal despite some awful weather in the first six months of operation. After sales service has been good and we have received help in getting a PC connection working from the inverter so that we can monitor and graph performance of the system. We have recommend Sunlight Future to friends.

They professional approach of quick service combine with really good value for money convince me to us they services.
