Great knowledge and installation experience

I dealt with Chris who showed he had a great grasp of the technical details for a Givenergy AIO battery install. Arron who carried to the initial repairs to the PV system and installation of the battery system did a really very impressive install to get the system up and running. I will use them again for my next renewable energy project.

We had 10 solar panels and a 5kw battery installed by MicroGen in May 2024. Installation went smoothly. Since then we have had a lot of good weather and we have hardly paid for any electricity. I am very pleased with the installation and our very low electricity bills.

Our solar panels were fitted a few years ago by Microgen. The service was great and even now Chris continues to be helpful and supportive with any issues we have. We would highly recommend!

Microgen designed and installed complete Solar Panel System including Battery. My experience from start to finish was first class all the staff always delivered on time. we had a slight problem during install when a drill bit came loose from the roof which resulted in a broken glass roof panel over the Patio. This was replaced without any fuss or cost on my part by Chris Wilson's team of installer's the whole experience was excellent and I would recommend Microgen who delivered a great service at a very competitive price

I have had the solar panels for 12 months now and I wish I had them installed 12 years ago. Microgen were very helpful with information on the system and installation was seamless. Any queries I had Microgen were there to help. Just had my electricity bill for March and the energy company owe me money with the electricity my panels generated. A no brainer for having them as far as I am concerned.

A fantastic experience from start to finish. Everything is explained clearly and provided in the quote prior to installation. The lads installing were clean and efficient, the bird guard is careful and aesthetically installed - you can hardly tell it is there!. We are in love with our solar panels and we love watching what we are saving and making each day on the app. Chris could not have been more helpful with how everything works for total novices and we felt he and his team really worked with us to get the equipment where we wanted it and looking smart. Microgen Energy Ltd is a local Southport company which deals with various systems Solar, Heatpumps etc. I was recommended to them in regard to Solar which I have recently had installed. After doing my due diligence successfully I decided to proceed. At all times I found them to be very helpful, informative and very knowledgeable from the first contact to their aftercare service. The installation was carried out professionally, efficiently resulting in a very neat and tidy system. The 4.3kw system comprising of 10 PV panels, Growatt SPH3600 Inverter and 6.5KW Growatt battery was very competitively priced and the whole process was seamless. I would strongly recommend Microgen Energy Ltd as a Solar PV installer as I am very happy with my Solar system planning, buying and installation experience.

Professional approach with good no-nonsense advice of the best system for my needs. Had a 5kW PV solar installed wit 9.5kW.h battery which allows best use of generation and flexible tariffs from my electricity company.

Microgen installed 11.2KWp of solar panels and a 20KWh battery pack and I am absolutely over the moon with the results. There were some issues in the early stages due to non availability of the kit I wanted, but eventually this was sorted. The guys came to fit the panels first and were fantastic. The installation was very neat and quick and caused no interruption at all. The electrical team followed on a few days later and installed the inverter, battery, export meter and internal cabling. Overall thrilled with the job and saving a load on the electric bill. If it continues to perform over the winter, I will probably be back for more battery capacity.

After much research, to find a firm who could fit an in roof solar system, (most cannot/ will not), who knew what they were talking about and communicated openly, honestly and clearly, both I and my neighbour both settled on the team at MicroGen. They proved to be reliable, tidy, professional and considerate. They quality of the system they installed was very good, easy to use and a fair price. The added bonus is, it is also performing beyond expectation.

From start to finish Microgen and Chris have been fantastic. The service is second to none. They're not the cheapest but they're also not the dearest. My installation was completed in the day. The team started very early and finished very late to get the job done in the day. They left no mess and showed me how it all worked. I will and have recommended Microgen to others and one has had his installed with no complaints and another is thinking about it. Don't hesitate, give them a call you'll not be disappointed.

I had 12 panels installed on my roof and I am so pleased with the quality of the work. The workmen who attended were efficient, very polite and tidy throughout and the result. They explained the system fully and how to go through the process of registering the installation with my supplier. I would highly recommended this company

Following a recommendation from a neighbour, I approached several companies for quotes for Solar panels. Microgen were professional and displayed expert knowledge and were also very competitive. We proceed with the installation of panels and a battery and have been extremely happy with everything. The installation was quick and not at all disruptive. And even in March, we were harnessing electricity and are now selling back to the grid. I couldn't fault Microgen at all. I would definitely recommend the company and products.

From the moment we contacted Microgen Energy to the site survey, quotations and installation, we couldn't have been happier. The after sales support hasn't been needed so far and we have had our panels and battery for about 8 weeks. This is great friendly business and can't recommend them highly enough, price, quality and communication all fantastic!

We are very pleased with the solar system and installation by Microgen Energy. Of all the quotes provided, they were the only company to detail the hardware supplied and were not at all pushy on sales. The panels look neat and tidy with the wiring hardly noticeable, unlike many ugly and messy installations. The team were very polite and efficient and completed the whole installation in less than a day. We have already recommended them to friends. 🙂

I did a lot of searching of companies as this was an expensive investment for us. I invited a number of companies to tender for the fitment of a panel and battery system. I received a wide range of prices and advice. From this information I then tried to confirm what I was beaning told / advised was correct. They way Microgen energy went about this phase was reassuring and nervously I gave them the work. They arranged everything without fuss to the extent I was a little concerned it was all too simple. I had no need to worry, the scaffolding company turned up the day before installation as promised and were very clean and efficient. The following day the installation team arrived early as promised and from start to finish could not have been more polite and professional. It took 1 full day and a little finishing off the following day. Can’t thank everyone at Microgen enough, from our experience I would not hesitate to recommend them. It was a pleasure dealing with Microgen Energy, which, through no fault of theirs, was a bit more complicated than their usual supply due to our choice of a non standard storage battery. Apart from a couple of chases I had to make regarding installation date confirmation, the whole process went very smoothly and everything happened as promised. The installers Ben and Shane and electrician Daniel worked very hard to complete a neat installation very quickly and efficiently. The Boss, Stuart Ward was great at co-ordinating the installation and always took time time to deal with any of my concerns either immediately, or by ringing me back promptly. An after sales issue we had approx.4 months after installation was resolved with the degree of concern and promptness that I hoped for and this now seems to be fully resolved. The whole team, including the office staff have been very helpful and polite. I don't think we could have had a better supplier than Microgen Energy for our solar installation.
