Paul from PBA Electrical was recommended to us when looking for an electrician to advise and install an EV charger having decided to go electric for the first time. A quick phone call and visit from Paul, he’s clearly very knowledgeable without being pushy and happy to make recommendations whilst leaving any final decisions to us. We had a report on the whole house done, a new fuse box and the EV charger fitted. Paul was polite happy to make changes during the job and left everything neat and tidy, so much so our neighbour commented on how neat the charger and wiring is compared to theirs. To anyone thinking of having any electrical work done, I would happily recommend Paul and PBA Electrical.

Would I recommend PBA Electrical & Renewables, 100 %. From the outset Paul was super helpful even before we booked him in, but the attention to detail with just running the cable was 10 out of 10 but really the whole service, I’d definitely use again 👍

I had an EV charger fitted by Paul, from start to finish PBA as a company and Paul as the electrician performed to the highest standards. He arrived on time and gave a really competitive quote, I took this quote not only for price but for Paul's expert advice during the quote. The installation of the EV charger was nothing short of outstanding, I was consulted on all aspects and even given pros and cons to placements of units. Really positive experience - Paul and Alex (I think?) completed an EICR on my recently purchased house in Eccles today and installed outside sockets front and back. Totally professional throughout, clear explanations of what they were doing any why, and left everything neat and tidy - will be using again!

Excellent service from Paul and his team from the initial survey to installation of our Tesla battery. The only firm to actually come out to look at the site which identified some issues that others had overlooked. Listened to our requirements ( didn’t dig my path up as everyone else wanted to do!). Paul sorted all the documentation. Team very respectful, went out of their way to protect my 100 year old wisteria. Worked over 12 hours to ensure battery was fully functioning before departing. Great communication and easy to contact post installation, very responsive. Highly recommended

Octopus declined to install solar and battery because our house is a Colt timber frame construction. Paul visited our home to talk us through (and point where the important bits would be) a bespoke setup that would work for us. Once agreed it all went smoothly and according to plan - deposit - scaffolding - first fix - panel install - final commissioning. Paul and his team have great attention to detail, the final look / neatness is important to them, showing genuine pride in their work which I suspect is not for the home owners sake, it's to show other installers how PBA rolls - either way, it's neat and tidy and working brilliantly.

First contacted PBA based on a recommendation from a friend who highly rated Paul and his team. Paul came out to assess and quote, providing a few different options for EV chargers, alongside his recommendation and the choices available, photos of each and how they look once installed. We opted for a Zappi charger based on it's integration with Solar and various other benefits. Paul arrived promptly to install using a high spec EVUltra cable to keep the install tidy (rather than having a separate data cable), leveraged existing drill holes where possible to minimize drilling additional ones into our screeded side of our property and was efficient and tidy (dust sheets etc used where he was coming through the wall into our fuse board). He was also able to minimize downtime for the rest of our house, only needing to turn off the power for around 5 minutes. The charger works a treat, and not to mention how useful the app is at providing an insight into Power usage across our home. We'll definitely be continuing to use Paul going forwards.

Paul came to our house to look at a number of jobs which we plan to have done over the next few months as we work through the house updating room by room. First job was to replace the old under cabinet kitchen lighting with new slimline led strip lighting. What a fantastic job Paul carried out! He was really helpful with questions we had, kept everything really clean and tidy and even vacuumed the tops of the wall cabinets while he was there! We have total confidence that every job PBA do for us (and it has been quite a lot having moved house) is of excellent quality. They are reliable, professional and skilled.

Paul installed a Zappi EV charger along with the Harvi unit to monitor the energy being generated by my existing solar panels. Just a brilliant service

Paul first came to install our electric car charger when we were let down by the first company, and he’s done a lot more for us ever since. From generally dealing with our old wiring problems to lighting installation and making a future cinema room workable, everything has been fantastic.
