Jon and his team did a great job designing and installing solar and battery system for my home. I got quotes from multiple providers (including big companies and other local fitters) but Jon was able to provide a very good system with larger panels and latest battery system at a competitive price. More importantly he was happy to discuss multiple different design options for the solar panel layout considering different sizes. We settled on a SigEnergy battery and inverter with Aiko solar panels which are working brilliantly. The whole process from quote to fitting to final handover and cleanup was very quick and easy with Jon always responding promptly to my questions and working around my schedule. I can highly recommend Seven Hills Solar.

Jonathan is an experienced solar designer and as a qualified electrician myself, i was particularly fussy in my selection of an MCS accreddited installer. Jonathan has done an awesome job. Perfect for everything from 4 panels to 400.

We have just had our Solar Panels and Battery installed by Seven Hills Solar. The overall experience has been excellent. I started this project with 3 companies quoting. By far the best was Seven Hills Solar. They produced a quote that was understandable and clear. Their cost was comparable with the others. Other companies seemed reluctant to engage when I tried to obtain information about their quote, however Seven Hills Solar provided detailed information on all aspects of their quote and product options. They were happy to change the solar specification and refined it to the configuration that was installed for us. This gave me confidence in the purchase, and with the accreditation that Seven Hills Solar has gave the security that they are a professional company. Even though the other two companies were household electricity suppliers, Seven Hills Solar provides a personal touch that I felt was key. The install process was well planned, and executed. The scaffolding was erected, Seven Hills Solar took delivery of the Solar Panels and Battery on site. They started the install on the date agreed as scheduled and completed the whole install and commissioning taking just 4 days. The install team were professional, easy to talk to, happy to explain the install and setup process and were very personable. The customer interaction was excellent. The system started to produce solar power and started saving us money immediately. I am thoroughly happy with the install and service provided by Seven Hills Solar. The personal touch I think is key on any expensive purchase and that was certainly part of the service they provided. I would recommend Seven Hills Solar to anyone.

I have worked with Jon Cowdrill, who is now running Seven Hills Solar, for several years at his former company. He specified my own, very complex renewable energy installation, involving solar panels, batteries, EV chargers and interface with electric and heat pump heating systems. Jon is an extremely knowledgable renewable energy engineer and a very patient system designer. We went through several versions of our system as I changed my requirements and specs and Jon made sure that I got the best equipment, very good prices and a really first rate installation team, who worked safely in the middle of Covid lockdowns. He then handled several referrals that I made to him and the company, delivering these to the satisfaction of my friends and contacts. I would have absolute faith in Jon and Seven Hills for any future projects I may have.

From my experience, I would say two things about Jon. I know that he knows his market and I can rely on him to come up with the best solution for me. He understands what good customer service is. And always delivers it!

Jon designed and co-ordinated the installation of new solar panels at my home. I am new to solar panels and Jon has been very generous with his time, explaining the options and working through various scenarios. The solar panels and battery were installed quickly and efficiently and they were able to co-ordinate with the roofing firm that were re-roofing at the same time. If you are considering a solar installation I would recommend giving Jon a call
