Excellent service from start to finish. I contacted Mercia Electrical Ltd for a quote for a solar panel system and batteries. The intial friendly help and guidance I received from Brandon, who designed me a fantastic system at a very competitive price. To Dean the surveyor who is very knowledgeable and helpful. On the day of installation, the installation team arrived on time. George, Luke and Kyle who, worked hard and explained everything to me. All three of them were very professional, courteous and very polite and also cleaned up after themselves. I also need to mention Carly, who worked hard in the background ensuring everything was planned and delivered to schedule and for sending all the relevant documents once the work had been completed and signed off. I have only had the system installed for a month and can already see great savings being made. I would highly recommend Mercia Electrical Ltd to anyone who is looking for fantastic service at a very competitive price.

I’ve recently been talking to a lot of companies regarding the solar panels and they all appeared to be very dishonest about very pushy until I came across Mercia electrical having very good chat with Brendon that never once tried to push the sale he was very clear from the beginning and explained how everything works and it turns out it’s exactly what he said top man Brendon more people like you are needed and the team that fitted the system great lads should not forget Carly from the office handled all the paperwork highly recommended company

From the time we initially spoke to Mercia about the possibility of having Solar Panels fitted we have been impressed with the Sales Team and the follow up. They were never pushy of overbearing, were very helpful and informative. Once we accepted the very competitive price, they were very accommodating about when they were to be fitted and kept us up to date with the process right up to the panels being fitted. The fitting went smoothly the engineers were very friendly and informative and we love the app. that tells how much energy we are producing and where it is going. Used Mercia Electrical through Clever Energy Midlands for a solar and battery install. Found them to be very patient, professional and helpful. Right from the first call Brandon explained things clearly and was always available to answer any queries. I received other quotes, but decided to go with Mercia, as they were not pushy, patient and very helpful. The installers were great and did a good clean tidy install within a week and no issues since, everything is working as it should be. More than happy to recommend and use again.

We can honestly say this company was exceptional from our initial approach to the completion of our solar/ battery installation. Brandon walked us through the process calmly ( and patiently ) answering question after question. He never pushed us into purchasing anything we didn’t require, he was totally professional and friendly throughout. After speaking to several installers we decided to go with Mercia Electrical and we have absolutely no regrets doing so. The scaffolding and installation went exactly how they said it should have and a special thank you to Luke the electrician. He worked so hard and never left until 8pm and was still smiling and cheerful. The aftercare was excellent, Sam was brilliant talking me through the app and made me feel he wanted us to get the best out of our purchase , a real star. And then Carly, nothing was too much trouble for her organising the paper work.. “ that’s what I’m here for “. We recently had an 6 Project EV chargers installed on site at Cullum Detuners Ltd by Mercia Electrical and couldn’t be happier with the whole experience. From the initial survey right through to installation and aftercare, the team were professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. They also guided us through the government benefits available, which made the process even smoother. It was important for us to choose a trusted local business, and Mercia Electrical proved we made the right decision. I recently had Mercia Electrical install solar panels and batteries at my home, and the whole experience has been excellent. From the start, Brandon took the time to understand my household’s needs and designed a bespoke system that really suits us. He was always quick to respond to my queries and explained everything clearly and patiently. There was a delay due to a third-party scaffolding team not turning up on time (not Mercia’s fault), but what impressed me most was how proactive the Mercia team were. They installed the batteries first so I could benefit from part of the system straight away, and then returned promptly to complete the panel installation once the scaffolding was sorted. The professionalism, care, and customer service shown by Mercia Electrical were second to none. I genuinely felt that they had my best interests at heart throughout the process. Mercia Electrical installed my Solar system a year ago, it has performed without any issues and has saved us a lot of money already, Mercia were very professional from start to finish, I would thoroughly recommend them.

Having decided to go down the more Eco route for energy supply and driving, we approached Mercia Electrical, as a local company, for a quote for supply and installation of solar panels. We knew nothing about systems, how big a battery we would need, how many panels, or which system was best to install. Brandon was invaluable in explaining to us lay people how the different systems worked and advising on the most suitable for us to have. We live in a rural area and needed planning, and Brandon helped with drawing up plans to submit for the planning application after a site visit. We chose an EcoFlow system with the help of an app and a tablet screen, which provides detailed information on how the system is working and a large battery and inverter. We also paid extra for the bird netting to stop pigeons nesting under the panels. The panels are also a solid black, so they blend into our dark grey slate roof, and are not obtrusive to look at. On the installation day (we didn't have to wait long once planning had been agreed), George, Kenzie and Kyle arrived promptly, listened to me (an over-fussy person when it comes to visible cables) and efficiently installed the system to our specification, all cables hidden. They were all super friendly and professional. Once we were up and running, Brandon advised on selling the unused electricity generated back to our energy supplier. This will generate a nice bonus at the end of the year for us. Our energy bills are now super low, even with the addition of charging an electric car. The whole process has been straightforward. A big thank you to the whole team at Mercia. I would thoroughly recommend them if you are looking at installing solar panels or if you require advice.

After 8 months of working with a large national energy company, who walked away on the installation day, a friend recommended Mercia Electrical to install a Solar/battery solution. After a quick response to my initial enquiry, a site visit was completed in a few days, and following the review of a few options, I decided on an in-roof Solar solution similar to that specified by the national energy company. Mercia quickly migrated the existing paperwork/permits to their control, thereby avoiding further delays. Installation was completed within 5 weeks, alongside other trades I had already organised. Communication by email and face-to-face throughout was excellent. The team that fitted both the panels and the electrical systems were focused on high-quality workmanship. Following installation, I received all the relevant paperwork promptly, and a site visit was conducted to ensure everything was installed to Mercia standards. I chose Mercia Electrical for my ground mounted solar install and was very happy with them. From the initial contact, through to quoting, site survey, installation and post install they have been very professional. They provided a detailed and easy to understand quote and all posts of the company were very responsive and this made the stand out from other companies I dealt with. I had received 100s of calls from solar panel companies when I started looking. I was then left with a choice between 2 local companies and one of them being Mercia. I chose Mercia for my solar panels as Brandon helped me with 1000s of my queries patiently, and even helped me choose the most efficient panels, batteries and the tariff, and he did that without thinking that I’m a confused customer and will question a lot. But honest companies like Mercia Electrical are rare to find and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

Mercia Electrical were instructed on behalf of Soly to install our Solar PV system & Battery. I couldn’t sing their praises enough. They were extremely efficient and had the system up and running by the afternoon. Everything was done very tidy and neat. The guys were extremely knowledgeable and very conscious of taking care. Had our Solar Panels installed yesterday! Fantastic service from the start of the process to now, very competitive price as well. The installers were polite professional and cleaned up all their rubbish etc. The panels are working really well and the APP gives you a really good picture of what's going on - Mercia will even help you chose the best tariff to go on - highly recommend them!
