We used A&D Carbon Solutions for a replacement heating system (Air Source Heat Pump + radiators), Solar & Battery installation. Even living in a 'not new build' property without underfloor heating, everything works great, and mid-December project completion, we're comfortably warm. The team have done a fantastic job - all difficulties encountered were overcome, we're very happy with the kit, work, effort, and professionalism that went into it, and are glad we've installed via A&D Carbon Solutions. Special mentions to Steven & Gethin of the heating team, Craig, Jo, Mark & Joe for Solar/Battery/electrics, and Warren for roofing work.

Absolutely fantastic team both for insulation in loft and vents around my home . Couldn't praise this company enough it easily exceeds the 5 stars . The professionalism and respect shown in my home and to me personally was outstanding .

We chose A&D Carbon as the designers and installers for our Green Homes Wales-funded installation of solar, battery, and internal insulation, and couldn't be happier. They kept us informed throughout the process, kept the place spotless, and were able to adapt smoothly to some issues that came up as they started the installation. We wouldn't hesitate to use them again for further work.

Everyone , I spoke to during the process was polite and efficient and very helpful. Would have no problem with recommending AD carbon solutions to anyone . Hence , 5 stars . Definitely a 5 star company .

Keep sending me emails about…

Keep sending me emails about installation although they never installed anything for me !!!!! Even had certs for these installations pity help those people who actually used this company. Not very curtious on the phone either. Would never recommend this company to anyone.

Lovely guys, provided a professional service whilst showing consideration to the house. We are so happy with the heating improvements and ventilation installed. The staff left the property really clean and tidy and the communication was amazing, that also goes for the lovely team in the office. Highly recommend

Very helpful and knowledgable fitters. Cleared up after themselves.

While the staff have been very kind and helpful, the communication has been very much constant calls in the beginning and nothing once work has been completed. I am still waiting for a leak to be fixed and rubbish to be taken from my garden, despite letting them know of all this over a month ago. Cannot fault the staff for politeness but think more focus needs to be on completing one job at a time before moving on to the next one.

Friendly and efficient outfit.

The sign up process was straightforward and well managed by the A&D office team with good communication. Our installation was quite complicated with extensive Solar, external wall insulation and a complete new central heating system driven by a very impressive Mitsubishi air source heat pump unit. All the many tradesmen installing the various elements were very friendly and efficient. Whilst we patently had some significant disruption during the extensive works, the teams tidied up each evening and made every effort to minimise the impact on our day to day lives. The final results seem to be working well, albeit the acid test will be when winter hits and we test the new systems to their limits. Overall we would recommend A&D Carbon Solutions as a straightforward and honest partner for your grant project.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Extremely Poor Service & Faulty Heating Installation I had new heaters installed by this company, and the experience has been nothing short of frustrating. Since the installation, our flat has remained uncomfortably cold, despite setting the heaters to the maximum temperature of 25°C. Over an entire weekend of monitoring, the temperature never improved. There are several serious issues with the service provided: Ineffective Heating Setup – The same size heater was installed in both our lounge and bedroom, despite the lounge being significantly larger. This makes no sense, as the lounge heater is clearly struggling to warm up the space. Skyrocketing Electricity Bills – Since the installation, our energy costs have increased significantly, leaving us with a substantial debt, yet our home is still freezing. Lack of Communication – We were assured that a manager would contact us to discuss our tariff options, but we have heard nothing despite multiple follow-ups. Before this company replaced our heaters, we had an older system that, while not the most efficient, at least kept our home warm. Now, we are left with higher energy bills and a flat that is colder than ever. I would strongly advise against using this company unless they address these serious concerns. If no resolution is provided soon, I will be escalating the matter further.

A&D Carbon Solutions were the team behind me getting free air source heat pump, solar panels and RIR installation via the Warmer Homes initiative which was available to me as a Rutland resident. Jack and Holly and the rest of the team were always quick to answer email enquiries and getting through to them in the office on the telephone was always quick and directly to them with no waiting around on hold etc. I was always dealt with friendly and professionally and always had peace of mind after dealing with them about any installation issues etc. I could not recommend this company highly enough!

Great customer service

Professional from start to finish. I felt confident in going through this scheme. I spoke to Declan and when it came down to the install part Jack and Carl was very good in keeping me updated with what was happening. Great work guys, 5 stars from me!

Fantastic company with 5* customer…

Fantastic company with 5* customer service. We had loft insulation installed with Ricky and the team. We dealt with multiple members of staff in A&D who were all brilliant. Jack (who arranged our install date), Holly & Craig who oversaw the whole install process and Declan who was our first point of contact. All top notch at their job and you can tell they really care about the customers experience. I will have no hesitation in reaching out to A&D again for any work I need doing in the future! Thanks all!

Incredible service from start to finish!

I don't even know where to begin in praising this company for their fantastic work and professionalism. We moved into a house that needed all new radiators, chasing/replacing pipes throughout the house as well as hiding pipes that were on show in our living room as they hadn't been touched since the early 80's!! It was a mammoth job to say the least. I had done extensive research into what company we should use. A&D kept coming up as a recommendation and it didn't take me long to figure out why. From the very first consultation, dealing with A&D staff, to carrying out of the work, the timeliness from enquiry to job start, to the quality of the finish on everything they did... It was actually beyond 5 stars (sadly, 5 stars in the limit to what I can give. So, I hope this review is more of a reflection of your wonderful company and the work you carry out). The company directors are incredibly knowledgable of their craft, but also are very passionate about everyone within their company providing a top quality service as well, so no matter who we dealt with, we knew were in good hands. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the ease of the service you gave, the quality of the materials you provided, the immaculate carrying out of the work, the thoughtful, kind and personable customer service and the aftercare you gave once the service was finished! We love everything you did at the property, all pipes are now hidden/replaced and all 8 radiators are perfect!! I won't hesitate to come to you for all of our future needs in this area of work! Used A&D to install wall insulation in my home. The team were amazing! very professional, clean and tidy with great communication throughout. I also had a heat pump installed and the plumber was great. We had a small leak and A&D had someone back the same day to fix, this has filled me with confidence that they take there aftercare very seriously. Highly recommend

Unprofessional & refuse to take responsibility for damage during install

Really poor attitude from this company. Supposed to be completing ECO4 GRANT work, but messed me about for 4.5 months saying they were going to start the work, lying about rules they had to follow which I disproved. They couldn't get the funding so tried getting me to pay for some of the install. Unprofessional and time wasters. Do not use this company UPDATE Following the reply from A&D Carbon Solutions, I would add that at NO POINT did they say they'd pay to replace the loft boards after they wanted to remove them. This is a blatant lie in order to try and put the blame on me for their failures. I was told they would remove existing boards and they would not be responsible for any repairs. I made no demands other than asking to be kept updated, the installation was halted by the company as they have been failed repeatedly by Trustmark on inspection of previous installation work, and they hadn't bothered to resolve these issues with Trustmark. For this reason, A&D have stopped doing ECO4 grant work. I resent their implication that I was in any way obstructive as I put in a lot of time and effort to try and resolve the issue with them. Having spoken to other installers of ECO4 grant work, it appears the failure of their work by Trustmark is an issue specifically related to the standard of work by this company.

Home insulation improvements…

Having had insulation improvements carried out under the HUG scheme at my property including the installation of an air source heat pump I thoroughly recommend A&D Carbon Solutions for their helpfulness, knowledge and communication throughout what has been an involved but rewarding process. Always attentive to the customer and professional in their advice, they are to be commended on their service and expertise. Ten out of ten and many thanks for everything.

Amazing service.! I mainly spoke to Holly who took the time to help me understand the ventilation requirements that should be set in my rented home.

A&D Carbon Solutions fitted our air source heat pump, solar panels, radiators and insulation. Throughout the whole process we were treated very well and have been delighted with the service we have received, by both contractors and office based staff. There was a slight fault and they came back within two days to fix it. Would highly recommend their excellent service.

As you know this wasn't your run of the mill average install and if we're honest there were a few unforeseen issues that could have been avoided but as I've previously said, "it's not what goes wrong, it's how that wrong is put right shows the integrity of a good company" and to your absolute credit, you didn't let us down when you said you would put things right and you certainly did showing how honorable and professional A&D really are. We won't forget that after being rejected by so many other install companies you were the only ones who were brave enough to take us on and for that we very much respect, commend and thank you. I am very satisfied with the completion of my solar Panel installation. The completion went very smoothly and all the installers were very efficient, considerate and courteous.

Quick and efficient service, panel fitters and electricians were first class, friendly and helpful.

I called purely for some information. Despite knowing that helping me would not result in any sort of sale, the female advisor that took my call, not only assisted me, but really went above and beyond my expectations and really went out of her way to help me, even though she really didn't need to.
