SCAMMERS!!
SCAMMERS!!! My elderly mother has had same email for TWENTY YEARS. Suddenly, it asked her to verify and send a code to a phone number she hasn't had in 10 years. She has also been married during that time a few times in last 20yr. So she call and they tell her they won't help her unless she pays a fee. They refused to tell her the fee until she recover her account. She was married when set up the account and said it is either Name1 or Name2 because I was married back then. They told her unless she pays money the is nothing they will do.

If you're looking for more spam, scam, trash, junk, g188eri5h and phishing emails, than actual genuine emails then I highly recommend AOL It's worth taking the time to migrate EVERYTHING to a proper email service that actually has working spam controls. This shower of **** doesn't deserve a single star.
I used my AOL to create an account on…
I used my AOL to create an account on the Bitci Stack Asset platform. After several months of investing. I ran into an issue where I couldn't receive the verification code from AOL mail to complete a transaction. I contacted the the Bitci support team, and they responded and helped me resolve the issue by changing my email address. After that, I was able to complete the transaction successfully. Overall AOL has been extremely slow, full of ads.
Gradually
Gradually, they are chipping away from previously good service! I deleted some emails but they keep reappearing, try to open incoming email, and it takes mega seconds instead of milli seconds! Where you store information on the left hand side, this section is now miniature whereas on the right side the page is huge, this in unnecessary, they are cornering us to pay for their service but not sure if we shall get good service if we pay! Pages freeze up too! FED UUP. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
The real owner of AOL…
If you need customer service and call the 800 number posted for assistance you are advised that for that kind of assistance, it doesn't matter what you have asked assistance for you will need to pay for paid assistance. If you want free assistance you are told it's only offered online and when you go online you receive a vague unhelpful answer and advised to try the paid assistance program. AOL seems to have become very political and if you post a comment that does not agree with their politics your comment will be rejected or your ability to comment will be suspended or your account closed so no freedom of speech. AOL is now owned by an Italian company called Bending Spoons. Gmail is a much better choice.

AOL offers mail filters but they do not work, nor does AO{ respond to requests to address the issues. I get hundreds of spam from Aol all of which i have directed to "trash" but none go there. Occasionally a legit email goes to spam so I have to look through them. Also there are mor phishing emails getting through to regular mail. Class action suit ?
A Bit Archaic
A bit archaic in functionality and customer support is nonextistent. All in all, it's served it's purpose but virtually every other platform leaves AOL in the dust
This is the worst email service I have…
This is the worst email service I have had. Even though I know my password is correct I still cannot sign in. It sends me to my recovery email address to get the code to get in but then I find out I cannot get into the recovery email either. Utterly useless!
Poor Service and Delivery - DO NOT USE
I had a fridge delivered on 10th of January around midday, and I am extremely disappointed with how my home was left afterwards. The delivery men lifted the metal strip between my carpet and tiled floor and left it loose and sticking up instead of putting it back properly. This has been left for me to deal with, even though I am not able to fix things like this myself, and it is now a trip hazard in my home. While they were removing the old fridge, I simply asked if I could sweep behind it first so the area was clean. One of the men took the broom from me and did it himself. I found this quite upsetting and unnecessary. They also removed my stair gate, which I didn’t mind, but it was then left taken apart on the floor. I was left with heavy pieces that I cannot lift or put back together on my own. After the fridge was installed, I later noticed that the skirting board next to the fridge had been damaged, which clearly happened during the delivery. I was left feeling very upset by the whole experience. I expected a professional service, especially as I am an older customer, but instead I was left with damage to my home and things I physically cannot fix. This was not the standard of care I would expect, and I would not want anyone else to go through the same experience.

i have had AOL since the beginning-back in the days where you had a buddy list and chat rooms-i used to love it but noticed since i changed my views politically in 2016-i have to keep editing my comments on articles until AOL thinks they're o.k. so now i don't even read the articles anymore-just check my e-mail and OUT

Resetting the password is horrid. I got an AOL address in 1996.it was great for a while. Now it is not.
Literally the worse customer service…
Literally the worse customer service and company now! I've been a member with aol since I was 8!!!! I got locked out of my account called their call center based in India and some where else, to deal with sparky remarks and attitudes!! They also make you buy their "premium membership" which is a joke and considering this is what you have to deal with along with still not being able to get in my email, they will ho under sooner than later!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!
What happended to AOL?
I have had AOL mail for over 20 years and in general I have been satisfied until recently. With recent changes AOL has been extremely slow, full of ads and spam. To simply login now I am contronted with five different screens (with ads) prior to finally being able to access my account. I have used numerous other email products and until recently, I did not find any advantages over AOL but I think it may be time to reconsider a new option.

Pathetic company. Even if you comment on their pages the word HAHAHAHA they won't allow it. Owned and managed by chicken Willie's cowards. Poor provider that is frightened of its own shadow. Plus their news is 24 hours behind everyone else.

AOL deserves a -- Minus Zero -- rating score. - I've been on AOL for decades. I recently and accidentally deleted my password. I've been calling and taling with AOL for a week. Though AOL says they'll call me back to help.... they do NOT. - I'm unable to access my business and personal accounts because AOL refuses to provide nothing more than "lip service" to my problem. - AOL says they've "escalated" my problem to another team, and I'll be called latre in the day, in almost a week AOL has FAILED to call me back. -- Terrible service. -- Terrible LACK OF SERVICE

Good morning I have bought a dozen or so items from this company. None of them have ever been a problem until a 65 inch Toshiba TV in March this year. I have asked them 10 times to sort out they’re expecting me personally to speak to Toshiba. They are going to do a video call. They are going to also get an engineer out. We are living in 2025. I believe the Company works from the era of 1975 the customer care is absolutely appalling. I have been to Asda I have been to Argos. I have been to PC World. I have been to Sainsbury’s. I have also been to Tesco and told them my scenario they said to me bring the TV and we will do an exchange now just bring your receipt. AO, it is time that you pulled your sock. And start looking after the people that pay your wages and stop fobbing us off making us do all the work for you instead of you helping us as valued customers in fairness you are appalling customer service appalling. I was told yesterday that they would have Toshi but call me from 8 o’clock to a 11:30 it is now 12 o’clock no one called it is Saturday so we are going to have no TV over the weekend once again it is appalling last time I buy anything from AO I think you should all be ashamed someone from Ayo needs to drag the Company to 2025. It’s not all about money. And I will expect a phone call by a senior manager surely at some point today to discuss this ridiculous companies issues. but in all honesty, I know they won’t get back in touch because they are worse than useless and I don’t know why.
What happened to my recent emails?
All of my emails from the last one and a half weeks disappeared, including those that were starred for their importance. Somehow they appeared in trash even though they were never trashed due to their importance. Tomorrow it's a trip to enroll in a different email account. Goodbye AOL

Actual mail is fine,but having to look at fake news on the daily homepage is getting old-Doom and gloom with finance when markets are an all-time high-keep reaching with your fake news!
