We have had a solar panel and storage battery installation completed by D P Electrical Specialists Limited on our home and we have been extremely impressed from start to finish. Communications throughout with David have been excellent and from the design stage to installation, the process has been engaging and well managed. David and his team are very approachable and professional in their work. I would highly recommend this firm if you are considering Solar Panel installs and or any other electrical works.

I have no doubts what so ever about recommending DP Electrical Specialists Ltd for Solar Panel instalation. "Thourough", is the first word that comes to mind with regard to David Purves, the boss, from initial site survey to all aspects of the installation. And he has a geat back up team. I had concerns about the scaffolding having to span our conservatory - but it went without a hitch. Just be prepared for WhatsApp messages last thing at night and early in the morning - but that's self employed for you.....🙂 Finally, I should mention that I combined with my neighbour so there were two properties to do - nonetheless all done in three days 👍. Don't bother searching the internet, go with David Purves of DP Electrical Specialsts Limited....

You need an electrician DP Electrical are the ones to use! I had a problem with my electrics I phoned them and they were there with in a hour! Sourced the problem and repaired, electric back on - as you can imagine having a teenager & no WiFi. The two who carried out the job were very pleasant, polite and efficient.

David & his team went the extra mile to fit in with my limited availability. Work done professionally & efficiently. Best of all the final bill being less than expected. Will definitely use again.

We had an issue with a socket ring circuit tripping the RCD, and had tried all the obvious fixes. David arrived promptly and after some investigative work, worked out it was a length of damaged cable between two sockets causing the problem. He replaced the cable and fixed the issue. David and his team installed solar panels and a battery at our property; they were always friendly, punctual and knowledgeable. David answered all our questions clearly and gave us advice without a sales pitch. The team were never less than professional when doing the installation and the work (particularly the battery set up in the garage) is high quality, well finished and neat. I recently had a fantastic experience with DP Electrical when they fixed my tripping RCD. From start to finish, their service was nothing short of exemplary. My cooker was tripping the RCD intermittently, they quickly tested diagnosed the issue to be an over sensitive breaker. The repair was done efficiently and professionally, with minimal disruption to my day. It's been several weeks now, and my RCD is working perfectly—no more annoying trips! David did my EICR on my recently purchased terraced. He did a thorough investigation and the remedial work a few days later. He is very professional and a pleasure to have doing work in my home. I would highly recommend him.

I can’t recommend this company enough! I needed a rewire due to having limited supply due to outdated wiring. Got a few quotes that seemed pricey but this one was very reasonable. Prompt visit for inspection and quote. Booked in quickly, kept me informed of progress over the course of the extensive work. Left clean and tidy after the job. Five stars from me!

DP came to fit us an electric car charger. David was so helpful when he came to measure up and quote and even came back and remeasured /requoted when we wanted something different. He was patient and explained the different options and reasons why. When David and his colleague came to do the job they were friendly and efficient. They have done such a tidy job, keeping all wiring as hidden as possible. We would definitely recommend DP for any electric work you need doing.

Both David and Will (his colleague) who attended over the course of 2 days to do certain remedial works on our house were great. Very pleasant and prepared to listen and discuss our requirements, some of which developed over the course of the 2 days they were on site. Additional work has been booked on the back of this visit. Great team. Would definitely recommend them.

We needed a new induction hob fitted and messaged David who promptly replied checking the work required and gave a reasonable price for the work. Although i didn't contact him until thursday evening he managed to book the work for saturday morning. He has done a good job and have no hesitation on recommending him and i am sure to be using him in the future .

Thanks so much to David and team for helping us remove and replace an Oven and Hob at short notice. They had to attend the property on multiple occasions which didn’t seem to be a problem for David as he moved his jobs around to accommodate us. We don’t live locally so we had a short timeline within which to work! Very helpful, reliable and pleasant. Will definitely use them again.
