First class installation

Pre. signing support from Gerry regarding various questions was excellent. Signed up for installation 5th December and installation started 16th and finished on 20th. I went on holiday 22nd and when I returned on 29th the scaffolding had already been removed. At every stage each of the work groups (Scaffolding, Roofer and Electricians) kept me informed regarding when they would arrive and always arrived when they said. A few minor bits still to finish (due to Duracell support not responding quick enough) but everything has been a breeze. The whole team at Zero-Carbon were 5 star, from Gerry the director who came and talked me through the quote, Jaclyn who kept me up to date with progress and the Scaffolding, Roofing and Electricians who attended.

The two roofers never stoped till job was completed well done. Ian and Abbie well what can I say they had a problem and had to leave did not expect them to return, arrived back at 5pm and worked till job was completed great work and customer care. If anybody thinking oh getting solar panels fitted I would recommend zero carbon. No hassle from start to finish

Positive experience

Clear information was provided to us prior to agreeing purchase. Installation was arranged quickly and the engineers were helpful and left everything very tidy. We had a few IT glitches but these were very followed up and resolved quickly by the company.

Quick, trouble free installation. A problem spotted a couple of days later was dealt with promptly and, despite requiring extensive tracing, was fixed the same day. Everything still fine just over 2 months since installation.

Zero Carbon a company to trust

I chose Zero Carbon due to customer feedback and the awards it received. I did my homework prior to making contact so pretty much had a base knowledge of what I was looking for. Email sent on Sunday late afternoon, call received on the Monday morning. A date/time to suit myself was booked. Gerry arrived and I found him to be honest and gave great advice. Needless to say I went ahead and booked. (10× Solar Panels, Duracell Inverter and Battery along with a Duracell EV Charger). Was contacted a short time later by the project manager who facilitated everything. The timeline for the solar panels being fitted until it was up and fully operational was only a couple of days. Extremely impressed with the workmanship of both Iain and Abbie who fitted all the electrical components and routed all the cabling. The project manager was efficient and obliging with any queries I had and was extremely attentive. The only disappointment was, that I didn't get to say a huge thanks to the guys who installed the solar panels as they left a great finish. The hardware is outstanding too. So pleased I went for Duracell. From start to finish I've only positive things to say about this company, from its owner Gerry, and all interactions with its employees, to the very competitive pricing.

Great service and quick installation

Great service and quick installation. Placed the order and the equipment was installed within days. It was commissioned and tested and a follow up visit was carried out 2 weeks later by an independent contractor. So far the equipment has surpassed my expectations. I had solar panels, inverter and batteries installed, as well as a device fitted to my boiler / radiator system which is advertised as saving up to 40% on gas consumption. So far, overall, I’m extremely happy with the results. Would highly recommend Zero carbon to carry out the works. It was a neat installation and well coordinated.

Outstanding service and high quality installation

I had spent some time looking at various solar providers, trying to filter out the wheat from the chaff. I had done some research already into what the options were for my house. I was contacted by Zero Carbon, following an online enquiry, which led to a visit and assessment of my property. I was given proposals and costs for solar panels and batteries and also an additional device which will reduce my gas consumption by 30%, at a small additional cost. I agreed with the package and arranged installation within a few days. The installation was completed in 1 day which included the installation of 16 solar panels, inverter, 15kw batteries and the units for the Gas combi Boiler. It was all tested and set up and connected to the cloud by the end of the day. The after sales service is excellent and they answer any enquiries quickly and efficiently. It has been a very smooth process with immediate gains. Would highly recommend this local company.

Job well done

The service from start to completion was as it should be. Effortless communications even when I asked somewhat more technical questions. When I surpassed the knowledge of the sales team I was effortlessly and without hesitation passed to the boss who answered all my questions in detail. Then the installation was completed by the fitter all without fuss and where I wanted it. Obviously I can’t attest as to its longevity yet but so far so very good.

Solar Panel Installation

From the initial consultation with Gardner to the survey to installation was absolutely first class. Very happy with the whole process from start to finish and obviously with the savings. The team, namely Kevin, Gary, Ian, Brodie, Abi, Connor and Kevin deserve huge praise for their professionalism and leaving my home so clean and tidy after completing the installation. Big thanks also to the office staff for coordinating it all. Cannot recommend this company highly enough.

Excellent interface from beginning to end.I met with them looking to be convinced solar panels would work on my property as I had previously been told they weren’t viable. My older property gave the installation team a few challenges on the day but nothing could put them off. I watch the app. constantly to see what I am saving. Great product.

I chose this company as it was based in Scotland and their installers were fairly local. From the start, the staff were informative, polite and helpful. Fitting the solar panels was quick and efficient. The system was cometitively priced and there was cashback for being recommended by a neighbour. Very happy with my new solar panels.

Bespoke system, exceptional service

We went for a bespoke ground mounted system and from concept to completion the whole team were knowledgeable, committed and very supportive. Installation was quick, clean and time was taken to explain all aspects of the work. The after sales service has been exceptional our electricity consumption from the grid fallen dramatically.

This company was efficient and competitive. They were easy to make contact with and kept us informed at every step in the process which was carried out in under two weeks from placing the order. A detailed proposal was submitted prior to making any commitment with a description of System Performance Estimate, Environmental Benefits and how the system would work. A finical impact and detail of the equipment to be installed was very helpful in making a decision.

I thought I knew what I wanted

I thought I knew what I wanted. Spoke to several operators who were happy to provide this. Spoke to zero carbon. They helped me realise what I needed. Planned installed and supported without any issues. Competitive price.

Newly installed solar panels, good advice offered by the owner who seems genuinely interested in improving your electric use and finding ways to save you money. Everyone who came out to the house seems to enjoy working for the company and it very much feels like a family business with good follow ups and great contact via phone or email to answer any questions we may have. Follow up has been there with a couple of small issues and they do exactly what they say they will do (which is rare these days) and take great care in leaving everything as they find it. Have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so!

In 2022 I upgraded my Solar Panel System by adding Batteries and an upgraded Inverter. The Service and Customer Support was Fabulous. Now after nearly 3 years my Energy Supplier is querying the amount of Feed-In we are claiming for (due to my upgraded and more efficient kit). They sent me a very complicated form asking all sorts of complicated questions. Once again Gerard Frew from Zero Carbon came to the Rescue by filling out the forms and providing all the Technical Information including for equipment that they did not install. I would Highly recommend Zero Carbon and their Service is Over and Above anything you would expect from a company. This is the Thank You I sent them. From consultation to installation the process was seamless. We didn’t know a lot about the different types of panels or what exactly we needed but we were walked through each step by Gerry, and we now have a fantastic system including a great, easy to use app. We haven’t had any hitches but the little technical queries and questions we have had have been dealt with quickly and professionally (usually Jaclyn) and we have ongoing reassurance and confidence in the company that they will continue to be available if there are any issues in future including tech support. From making an enquiry to the system being in place was less than 4 weeks. At every stage, they have over delivered I.e. expected the job to take a whole day and was finished by 1pm. All workers have arrived when they said they would, with minimal disruption and leaving no mess. Additionally we were given check phone calls to ensure that we have been happy with the work being completed. We would 100% recommend this company if anyone is looking for a system to reduce their energy bills and be more environmentally friendly.

Really fast installation

Amazing service from this provider, well coordinated over 3 days. Minimal disruption, excellent staff, particularly the panel personnel who fitted in only a few hours. Electrician and heater fitter went over and above to accommodate, they were pleasant, professional, taking care within property, explained how to use heaters, stayed late on final day to finish (on a Saturday too). Zero Carbon provided me with a good estimate, and did the installation barely 2 weeks later - 10 panels, with a battery and an inverter. Zero Carbon took great care with our recently recoated roof, which was much appreciated. We were up and running in a day, and we're already seeing the benefits during these sunny days by selling energy back to the grid. For now, the battery is handling all of our household consumption during normal usage days. Highly recommend this company to anyone interested in taking power from the sun to reduce your monthly energy bills!
