Stuart was recommended to us by a family member and we are delighted with his service and expertise. Our previous installation of inverters had failed and were not repairable and we had been badly let down by another company. Stuart recommended and sourced the best off grid inverters to replace our original ones, whilst utilising as much of our existing kit as possible, protecting our original investment. He has greatly improved our system, upgraded parts and all for a very reasonable price. Very happy and highly recommend.

Our 10 panels have been in place for 8 months now and I would say have done all we hoped. With Stuart's help we've been learning to make the best of the available sunshine and battery storage against the house usage we want. We had a particular problem in that the solar site was about 30m from the house and we had to use an existing duct to connect the solar system to the house. The duct was small and the pull-through had rotted. It also contained other wiring but perseverance and use of a vacuum cleaner managed to suck the connecting wire through though it took at least a day. Well done Stuart, system is working well, thanks.

Before taking the plunge on getting solar I did a lot of research.somebody I respect in the electrical industry (Mark Allison) put me in touch with Stuart and the Cato Electrical team. can say hand on heart installation all went to plan. Stuart followed my preference's on cable routing and equipment positioning to the letter. Install all happened to the agreed timetable. MCS Documents handed over in good time as well. Couldn't ask for more... that is except these are cpomplex systems and take a little fine tuning. In the 10 months since system activation Ive contact Stuart (mostly at weekends , Sorry) asking for advice and tech support. without exception Stuart responds to me within an hour or two with a detailed solution to my query. Ive been in the construction industry for over 30 years and wouldn't hesitate in recommending Cato Electrical

We had Stuart quote and install our solar panels back in March 2023. We had heard of him through a friend who had had work done by him. He said Stuart did a very good,quick efficient job at a competitive price. Our friend was correct. Stuart and his colleague did a brilliant job and once the job was finished other than the gleaming new batteries in the garage and the shiny solar panels on the roof, you would never have known that we had had any work done! Would we recommend Stuart Cato? Every time!

Stuart and his team did a thorough check of our electrics before installing 2 separate phases of solar kit for us. Stuart has always kept us informed and acted professionally in everything he has done. Even the person from Octopus who came to install our smart meter remarked on what a high a standard and professional the work Stuart had done was. Cato Electrical installed a PV System with Solar panels and a battery. The site survey was thorough and the options laid out clearly before we proceeded. The installation was very professional and we’re covering most of our current electric needs from the system. The background administration that Stuart Cato had to undertake should not be underestimated. He took care of it all. Even down to producing a bound catalogue of all the system setup and information supplemented by a USB dongle to use when I needed to mail details to a new power supplier. It’s the little things that make a difference. I had initially engaged with another company who I ditched after I felt they were not listening to my needs and were overcharging. I never felt that with Stuart. He knows his stuff and is confident with what he installs. I’d highly recommend using Cato Electrical.

Four years ago a company no longer trading installed a solar system for me. That system was badly installed and had to be repaired. That’s when I contacted Cato Electrical Services. Stuart Cato came inspected and with two of his employees repaired my system in the most professional manor checking everything and the correctly mapping the system, at a very reasonable cost. I would highly recommend Cato Electrical to anyone in need of a highly qualified Electrician to both install or repair their system.
