Just a few words to thank RT Solar for the first class service they provide. I am a very happy customer, perhaps I am in the minority today as too often we hear of disgruntled and very unhappy customers. So a big thank you to the company and there Engineers (Shane & James) who gave a first class service. Most importantly they gave clear and understandable information whilst being polite, friendly and very efficient.

RT Solar Battery Installation.

RT Solar of Newport Pagnell provided competent advice,and they carefully explained what was possible and what was not in plain language. As we already had solar panels, we had opted for a Powervault battery system, which installed in a competent and workman like manner. We are very pleased with the end result. We would be happy to use them again.

Professional and Friendly Service

Lee is a professional and friendly electrician. Happy to explain what he is doing and how it will solve your request. He reconfigured my solar/EV setup to stop my EV draining my solar battery while it was charging.

First class service

When we called RTSolar they arranged a visit for the following day and they found the cause of our lack of heating and fixed it for us. We had issues with our control system so we called RT Solar again and they came back to us within 15 minutes and rectified our problem.

We have just had our heat pump installation carried out by the team at RT Solar. The engineers were very meticulous in their approach and nothing was too much trouble. The team were very professional, polite and friendly - and absolute experts at what they do. The whole installation from start to finish took just 3 days. The communication from the office was excellent and they were in contact with me at every stage. I would recommend RT Solar without hesitation.

Heat Pump installation

From our initial consultation and design through to the completion of the work the whole team have been efficient and respectful of our home .All our queries were answered patiently and the work was carried out with as little disruption as possible. The team arrived punctually and made sure to leave everything clear for us each evening . The team -(Lee, James ,Shane , Tom and Omah )were quiet and considerate both to us and our neighbours .Thank you for such a successful installation .

I had an air source heat pump installed by RT Solar. It was an ordeal and I do not recommend them. They are clearly primarily an installer of solar panels, on which I cannot comment. Air source heat pumps, however, are complex systems, for which RT Solar (and probably many other suppliers out there) do not have the skills and capabilities, so please do yourself a favour and find a heating engineer, not ordinary plumbers. Please do not engage RT Solar to install an air source heat pump.

All inclusive service! Highly recommend this company for solar and battery storage

Ivan was very nice and gave good open and reliable information on quoting bending the solution to fit my budget and also filing correct paper work and following up with DNO to get the limits raised to what I wanted. On install day the scaffold was up day before ready, Lee and Dave were very friendly and professional and able to work around issues to a happy outcome for all. Left with a very professional, safe and tidy installation that works well. Lee made sure that regulations were followed to the T with no corners cut!

RT Solar not only took care of all the scary admin for our heat pump installation, they gave us great information and technical advice. They planned the project to fit in with our needs, discussed changes and made helpful suggestions. The different parts of their team (sales and planning; office; and technical guys on site) worked together well, which gave us confidence and made the process go smoothly from beginning to end. The system works very well in May; we look forward to the cooler autumn now.

Our Go To company for green energy products.

RT Solar has become our go to company for all green energy products. 18 months ago I chose them to install Solar panels and battery. It was a risk as all I knew about the company were the reviews on here and the interaction with Ivan who specified and quoted. The installation could not have gone better and we are saving hundreds of pounds on electricity. Since then RT have installed an air source heat pump system for us which was a bit more complex but is working well and included larger radiators where needed. We acquired an EV this week and James from RT has today installed a charger for us. This integrates with the solar panels and should take advantage of cheap overnight electricity. All my dealing with RT been completely professional and they have always responded to and resolved the few minor issues which are bound to occur with the technology associated with green energy systems. I would recommend RT to anybody considering any of these products.

Amazing team cant recommend highly enough. Great communications throughout and explanations on what was happening and how it would work. Very polite and understanding about my dad who has dementia, accomdated us so dad was least disturbed as possible. Found an major electrical issue which Lee and Geoff electricians resolved for us. RTS performance

The decision to install a heat pump was a major one. Our oil boiler and tank were both near the end of their life and we needed a new installation of both. Clearly an air source heat pump was ecologically a geed idea and we got 3 prices. RTS was significantly the most competitive particularly as they included a competitive price for new radiators and roof insulation. The next stage was the production of calculations to decide what size pump was required. The pump itself was larger than we expected ( 16KW) and has been placed in a recess in the ground to ensure that it fits below the kitchen window cill level. Note that the location of the heat pump itself is important; it has to be at least 1m from the boundary and this limits where it can be positioned for anyone with a small plot ( like ours). Another potential concern was the noise ( we have found that this is not an issue). An air source heat pump requires the water to be at mains pressure so in our case the water tank in the roof had to be removed and the whole water system in the house put on to mains pressure with no holding tank. This meant we had to change our power shower as it only works at 1 bar and pressure is now higher. The installation took about 2 weeks and was a major job involving items in the attic and a complete rebuild in the airing cupboard.as well as 6 new radiators and a new sub fuseboard. The work was carried out by 2 plumbers and an electrician all of whom were very helpful and polite. They had to work around us ( and our dogs) living in the house and did so very obligingly. We decided to have the job done in April just as our oil tank was approaching empty. We have not yet really tested it in earnest as the weather since April has not been cold. RTS have been helpful dealing with a few minor post completion issues. So far it has worked excellently and I would be very happy to use RTS again.

RT Solar are knowledgeable, experienced, helpful and friendly. Did a fantastic job with a solar panel installation. Recently I had problems with an ASHP someone else installed, finally feel confident it is set up and working correctly now RT Solar have been involved, wish they had done the installation. Thanks.

Really good communication from the…

Really good communication from the start. Installation was quick and smooth and everything was well explained. Ali was a a superstar and so patient with us. Fernando and Sandy very good communication and organising the installation. We are very happy with our set up for hot water and charger for the EV. Nice people to deal with.

Recently had Solar panels and battery installed by RT. From the initial contact and survey of our property right through to the installation and commissioning I cannot imagine a more professional company. Everything happened as planned. Sandy coordinated the work and phoned with regular updates, Rob did a great job of installing the panels and Dan made everything work with the installation of the batteries and inverter. Highly recommended.

After struggling for more than a year with another company to have my system installed, I could not be happier with the whole RT Solar team. I wish I came across RT Solar a year ago as that would have saved me a lot of very frustrating phone call and I would have my solar panels and batteries up and running for a year already. Fabulous experience with RT Solar, Ivan explained the system, quoted a good price with no fuss, and was always available to answer our questions. Everyone at RT Solar has been very helpful. We were not happy with our previous plumbing service and we contacted RT Solar for pipe chasing in the wall and installing a radiator and towel rail. They were very prompt and professional as well as helpful with great advice. Shane and James were very good and didn't leave until all was perfect.

We are very pleased with the way RT Solar dealt with our installation of additional panels and replacement batteries for our solar PV system. They were very careful with the entire process from initial consultation through to the commissioning of the system and all within a commendably short period of time. Fantastic quality solar & battery install. RT solar installed a large 10kw solar pv with battery, EV charger & iboost for hot water. I have had my system for a few months and am very pleased with the install. The biggest positive is the quality of the install, RT did a fantastic job and exceeded my expectations. The 27 panels on my roof have a very neat and uniform presentation. Fernando was very knowledgeable and ensured I was able to maximise the solar capacity as I wanted the biggest system that would fit on my roof to reduce my carbon footprint & utility bills as I wfh and use a fair bit of power. The installation process was smooth, I initially had panels installed and then battery a short time later. Both install teams were very understanding of my requirements, had very good attention to detail and carried out the work to a high standard. The price was competitive (noticeably less than some national companies), there was a short wait for install as I wanted Solaredge brand inverter which had stock delays but Fernando managed the delays well and worked hard to get my equipment in a reasonable time. My experience has been fantastic and I would be happy to recommend RT Solar to anyone.

Really happy with the solar panels and battery system that RT Solar have installed. The system works really well and it feels great to be saving money and doing our bit to help reduce our carbon footprint. Fernando, Sandy and team are great people to do business with and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone.

RT Solar are the best at what they do and the best prices I can find. After listening to bog standard installs and sky high quotes from the national companies, I found RT Solar. They listened to my unique needs, as someone with two EVs and a smart home with lots of kit, they gave me a solution that I liked. When they gave me the best price I’d seen, I liked it even more. My original install was for a 20 panel system with a 5.2kw battery. This cut my energy bills by 75%. I recently had a larger battery installed with an iboost to power my hot water with excess energy, and since the install, I’ve barely taken any grid electricity at all, I’d guess a 95% reduction on my bill. I’m very pleased with the work carried out, exceptionally neat and the best looking panel install I’ve ever seen. My wife was concerned they would be ugly, but frankly they look so neat that even she’s happy with them. I’ve had many neighbours ask about them too, impressed that they look so good! So should you use RT Solar? Yes. They offer great solutions at fantastic prices. I’ve now got a veritable power station, so will sadly probably have no further need for their services, but if I do, then I’ll go directly back to them.

Top quality service It was a great experience in having my solar PV and batteries system installed by RT Solar. From the first stage of quotation, Fernando has been very clear and informative and he replies to my queries responsively. He also does not give me any pressure and gives me time to compare and decide. He also offers wide range of options and alternatives regarding the type and brand of equipments to choose, which makes it very flexible for me to adjust the specs of my system accordingly (something that I found many installers can't do as they tend to limit the options to whatever brand they have). And he also offers suggestions which helps me to decide on the final system. And the quote I got from them is quite competitive compared to others. In fact the options that he offered gives me quite a saving compared to other quotes I got. And he doesn't hesitate to upgrade the system using better equipments according to the supply availability without any additional cost. Once I signed the contract, Sandy and Elaine always kept me informed and updated at every step of the process. Installation date was scheduled very quickly which in my case was 2 weeks from the signing of contract. This is very impressive in this current situation of various supplies issues. For comparison, it took some companies more than a week (some even a month) to just replying to my email. Installation day went smoothly, in spite of some hickups with the supply which was sorted out very quickly. The roofer and electrician's work is top notch. I can't find any fault in the quality of the work. And the system has been running smoothly from day one. And the most important is that they give me confidence that they will give their best support to sort out any problems that might arise in the future.

All good with these chaps. I was pretty much set on my choice of Solar panel company and then I got a call from Fernando, he was in the area and came and had a look. Straight from the off, his honesty and integrity shone through. The truth is something that you seldom seem to get from some solar panel companies. As an example I had someone visit (from another company) who said I could get 18 panels on my relatively small roof and Fernando basically told me they were talking rubbish as the space on my roof simply wasn’t there. I immediately had trust in him and the way the solar panel industry feels, I think that is very important. I had constant contact with the company, even before I ordered and felt I could ask any questions and the replies would be truthful and honest. Installation day arrived, and despite a few issues, which were quickly remedied, I had a 10 panel system that, from the ground, looks great. The installation of all the electrical gubbins was all placed perfectly and looks really smart, from the exterior you can hardly tell that there are new cables and everything was very neatly placed and installed. Overall, I thought RT Solar and everyone who represented the company were exceptional and I couldn’t be happier. If you’re looking into these things then spend some time and make sure you’re happy and don’t feel as if you’ve been forced into your decision and with my experience of RT Solar you should feel happy and not overly pressurised to make, what is, a very expensive decision.
