A good team of local installers

A great team of installers and back-office staff, Brad really knows his stuff and will go the extra mile to get issues resolved, calling out of hours etc. We had a few minor issues with the installation, nothing major, but all was eventually resolved and ERS were keen to please us, and we're really happy with the end result and the savings we're seeing. The price was very reasonable too!

Good support

I appreciated all the technical information as we worked to get the project done. The employees are helpful and willingly sorted out each issue along the way. The system looks to be running well since commissioning yesterday.

ERS doesn’t have a fault fixing process

From the start communication was a bit of an issue and the installation ended up happening when I was on Holiday. I wouldn’t have been my choice, but on the whole that part went well and they left a neat and tidy job. The problems started about 5 months later. After Wales got battered by the storms I noticed that one of the solar panels had come off the rails and had flipped over. I have a ground mounted system so was able to strap the panels down. 2 clips that hold the panels down were missing and after I checked the installation photos I noticed they had never been added. I put this down to an easy mistake to make, I realise that this could have grave consequences had the panel come off a roof. I contact Energy Renewable Solutions who said they would come out after the Christmas break, but sent me the missing clips at my request. As Christmas was only a week away I was happy, However, after chasing a few times, by May no one had come out and I emailed every email I had to get a response, they apologised and someone came out. I would have expected better from such a large order. I also have an 11KW system that has never gotten more than 8.8KW dispite facing south. In July one of my Tesla batteries started tripping a fuse when charging. I contact Energy Renewable Solutions who contacted Tesla. This was nearly 7 weeks ago and the only thing that has happened is that Tesla have turned down my maximum input amount so that I can’t charge my home battery at the same time as my car meaning that I can’t take full advantage of the cheep electricity I could get at night. In the last 7 weeks no one has been out, the only contact I get is when I chase, making me feel like a pest, After the 5 month wait for someone to check the panels after their mistake clipping them down, I have no confidence that it’s being given the full attention it deserves. Energy Renewable Solutions are blaming Tesla and it may be Tesla’s fault, but if someone at Energy Renewable Solutions were to keep regular contact with me with updates etc, without me having to chase, I would probably feel better valued and trust that they are trying to sort it out.

We used this company to add battery storage to our existing solar system and to relocate the inverter to the garage. From start to finish the service and professionalism has been first class.

house batteries, heat pump and current limiter

I had an issue with my house batteries not charging. Gareth walked me through troubleshooting by WhatsApp text and video calls. Eventually, he concluded it needed a visit where a loose wire was diagnosed and resolved. Service was reasonably quick and cost effective. I have also used them in the past to service my heatpump and install a current limiter both of which I was very pleased.

Energy Renewable Solutions have just installed solar panels, a car charger, inverter and battery for us. Living in Barry, we wanted to use a local company and we have not been disappointed. We have just had solar panels, an inverter, battery and car charger installed by Energy Renewable Solutions. As Barry residents, we wanted to use a local company and have not been disappointed. Everyone involved in our installation delivered great service and we can highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to invest in renewable energy for their home.

Energy Renewable Solutions Ltd have just commissioned a Samsung Air Source Heat Pump and New World Hot Water Tank for me, to replace my solid fuel central heating system. I have been most impressed by both their professional service and workmanship. After carrying out an initial survey, and accepting their quotation, they applied for a “Boiler Upgrade System” Grant on my behalf which gave me £7500 towards the cost of the equipment and installation. The workmanship by their installers was first class ensuring carpets were safely protected whilst they were working within the house. If like me, you live in a village without mains gas and rely on solid fuel, oil or LPG, I would highly recommend Renewable Solutions Ltd with view to installing a heat pump.
