From start to finish these guys did a great job and only 2months in im astounded how much difference its made. Id had many quotes and done a lot of research so knew what I wanted, Craig who i initially spoke too while he was doing a quote at my workplace was great and spoke my language. I could tell he had a genuine passion for what he was doing. And what he provided was a quote via a physical inspection and an accurate design, it was exactly what many other companies didnt offer. Exactly what I wanted! Maximise my panels and he sized my inverter and battery's correctly to my needs. Not fobbing me off with a quick easy job for maximum profit their end and me getting not the ideal setup. Yes the quote was more than any other quotes id had, but non of those were to this spec and not using this brand of products. Needless to say but it was what I opted for in the end. I am so happy with the look of the panels, some installs dont look great. These are uniform and match the roof too. They use a nice looking panel in my opinion. Im 100% happy with the work and can't recommend them enough!!!! Thank you guys for giving me what I wanted. February and were already having days that produce more than we use, what's more to say. Dont delay if ur thinking about it you wont regret it and these guys are a great shout in my opinion!!!!

The Coretech team brought considerable expertise for the design, supply, installation and economic use of the solar solution now operating for my property. The solution went through a number of changes and Craig patiently dealt with many questions and challenges that arose before it was finalised over several months. The on-site team were also careful and clearly dedicated to delivering a neat as well as effective functional solution, all along with a dose of good humour. Coretech’s responsible sourcing of panels, batteries and other components from European suppliers with whom they have a long term relationship is also welcome and helps give me confidence for their after-sales service

We have been delighted with the work completed by Coretech who we commissioned to install our solar panels and battery system. From the point of first contacting them, their approach was professional and first rate at every stage. Communications throughout the process helped to reassure us and any questions we had were answered promptly. The team that installed the system were nothing short of fantastic and went to great lengths to minimise disruption during the install. What a fantastic experience we have had with Coretech. The professionalism, friendliness and competency in taking a concept from feasibility through design to install and commissioning has been an enjoyable one. Nothing was a problem, just an opportunity. I worked with Craig on what I was looking to achieve and he came up with a specification and design which has exceeded all expectations. The on site team of Mark, Michael, Sam and Lucas was a real pleasure. Great sense of humour and banter for the week, but combined with pure professionalism and care of what they were doing. You've only to look at the photos to see how everything is straight, and tidy. From day 1, the system has performed superbly. Even on dull days, we are self sufficient (which I guess will diminish as we head to winter months). There is something very satisfying when you turn on a light or drive a 100 mile journey knowing that it is not costing a penny. Combine that with the environmental issues is a win win. The after sales care has been equally brilliant. The various questions that I've had have been answered promptly and with an attitude of "there's never a silly question". We are looking forward to adding some accessories such as EV charging and hot water heating to further enhance the overall system. In summary, a huge thank you to everyone mentioned above and to Laura for all her help in all the coordination.

2025 update With us going into retirement i felt that it was time for us to increase our battery capacity so we had cheaper annual electricity costs. As Craig and Coretech had provided such a great service in the past they were naturally my first and only go to contractor. Craig came out to the house answered all of my questions around adding the extra batteries and the options to take advantage of cheap overnight electricity in winter to charge the batteries. As normal Craig's knowledge is second to none and his answers clear and precise. The order was placed and the work was completed in a much shorter time frame than I expected and as normal the work was carried out in a professional way and the instulation was neat and tidy. With the good weather we have been having recently we are now more of less self sufficient in electricity with no need to use the cheap overnight charging but I know that in the winter months this will come into its own. I would recommend Coretect without any hesitation to anybody. After Craig and his team had done such a speedy and professional job of replacing our broken inverter a free year ago, I naturally went back to him when I was thinking about installing battery storage. As normal Craig was professional, providing a quote in a short time, which I duely accepted. There was a delay with sourcing the kit,an industry wide issue, but I was kept informed throughout the period and in the end the kit arrived 3 months earlier than forecast. The installation was conducted very professionally and a small issue with the installation discovered during the install was quickly resolved. Follow up questions were speedy answered. I would recommend Coretech to anybody, you could not have a more professional company.

Excellent product and service.

We have had panels, batteries and car charger for a year now. Craig, organised by Laura, did the survey and later fitted by a couple of lads in terrible weather. All working well, even in worst winter/spring for years. Had problems with car charging recently, nothing to do with Coretech, but Mark still came out to see us and with his experience sorted it out. Chosing the right company for expensive work on the house is always a gamble but Coretech was the right one for us and we have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone. Customer service is excellent which is so important and becoming quite rare. Cheers guys.

Having quoted for a reasonably big solar installation (34 panels + batteries), Coretech were competitively priced and demonstrated a passion for their product which clearly showed with the depth of their technical knowledge. Communications were clear throughout and the installation itself went without any hitches; their engineers working through all weathers (including snow!) to get the work finished. Big thanks to Craig, Mark, Laura, Michelle and their team (Carl, Carl, Sam & Toby) for a job well done!

I had a solar & battery system installed at my property & I cannot fault this company. From the initial in depth information given & great communication to the installation, everything was very professional & immaculate. Despite some horrific weather during the install, the team still pushed on & got the job done in a timely manner. The owner & staff have all been really friendly, polite & knowledgeable. Coretech quoted and supplied 20 x solar, batteries and inverter. Craig ran through everything with me during the quote stage as I knew very little about it. The lads that came and fitted were brilliant. Always on time, neat and tidy and answered all my questions. Even cleaned the panels of finger prints when finishing the job off. Working immediately and the app is easy to work. Id highly recommend coretech, great local company to do business with.

After much research by my husband and some dodgy quotes arriving (or not) from other suppliers we finally found Coretech. Are we glad we did? Absolutely! Craig was the only guy who turned up with a ladder to access our roof and check closely for viability of fitting. He spoke at length with great conviction and expertise. He came back to us to speak with me as I couldn’t be home for his original visit. I asked all the daft questions and we were both happy with the answers, the quote and the level of service we could expect both for installation and after care. We were not mistaken or misguided. The Coretech team are a great bunch of lads, very accommodating, polite and highly skilled craftsmen. No unexpected installation request from us was too much – very much a can do attitude, all oiled with a constant supply of Yorkshire Tea! The quality of service has continued into the after sales including setting up of monitoring apps and trouble shooting of user error induced issues! Our installation went live in September and we are settling into the winter routine of topping up and maximising what supply we are generating. Coretech may not be the cheapest on the market for those that look at price and not value. The added value from Craig, Laura and the team is priceless!

Finally took the plunge into solar energy after wanting to do so for ages. We had been put off by internet companies and dodgy online assessments so were thrilled to find a local company with a good reputation who came and told us in plain English what would work for us. No hard sell, no jargon just good solid advice. They charged what they quoted, came when they said they would, did an excellent job and tidied up when they left. We were expecting a long wait for batteries but they managed to get us sorted way ahead of schedule. Nothing was too much trouble for the lads who were working here, they made sure we were happy with everything before they did it as we live in a wonky, old house and they came up with creative solutions to make sure there was minimal disruption to our home. We were worried about the amount of internal disruption having solar panels might bring but you would honestly never know they had been inside. We were initially concerned about where we could house the batteries due to limited space but Craig had an ingenious solution and the lads worked really hard to make this happen- which was no easy task. They have treated us and our home with respect- excellent work- just need some sunshine now!

As part of having to have a complete re-roof we took the opportunity to look into a full solar system Inc. battery storage and integrated roof panels. Having had visits from "salesmen" (beware of their Best Price if you buy now offers) , and "quotes" from large companies who wouldn't even come and do a site visit, we found Coretech and have not looked back since - totally professional yet friendly and personable too , Steve came out and after checking our ideas , life style and future plans he completed a thorough survey. An itemized quote was provided with time estimates for the seperate pieces of equipment and a commitment to get us producing energy by installing alternatives if needed where required untill our full system arrived. Care and thought was used for where the "brains" and batteries were to be housed and the fitting team (working in conjunction with the roofing company) was fantastic and the integrated roof panels look amazing. Although the system is not totally completed due to still awaiting the specified batteries, we are over the moon with every aspect about Coretech and would wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone who is seriously considering going down the Solar route. Get in touch with them , you will not be disappointed.

Coretech have done a neat and efficient installation of our panels, and we are generating! Our existing SMETS2 smart meter is measuring our export, and our electricity supplier is on board as the recipient. Our batteries and Inverter are on order, but the temporary inverter is doing the basics just fine. The production meter passed 2 MWh recently. We are very much looking forward to the flexibilities and control that our final installation will give us, and we are very pleased with what we've got, and who we chose to install it.

Following the hike in energy prices last year, together with abysmal interest rates offered by the banks for savings accounts, I decided it would be better to make my money work for me, that means Solar Energy. As we already use Coretech for our business Electrical needs and knowing that they always do a good job, they were the obvious choice. A combination of Solar Panels, Inverters and Battery Storage have been installed to a high standard by courteous, knowledgeable staff. But the one thing that most impressed me was the passion they have, starting from the top (Craig the "Solar Yoda") down to the individual installers. I highly recommend Coretech for your solar panels. I had a very professional service right from the very start when Craig visited us to carry out the survey. His experience and depth of knowledge is second to none and he guided us through the options allowing us to choose the most efficient setup for our house. The office staff were on the ball, keeping us updated with the expected install date. The guys who installed the panels were polite, neat and tidy, and worked very hard during difficult weather conditions. Overall it has been a pleasurable experience and I don't have a bad word to say about them!

Coretech fitted solar panels on our terraced property and also replaced an old consumer unit at the same time. It wasn't a standard installation and we chose them because Craig was extremely knowledgeable and helpful and took the time to undertake a thorough survey before quoting so we had confidence that everything would go well. I really can't say enough good things about Coretech. They fitted solar panels to my house at the beginning of the year, and were just an absolute delight to work with from start to finish. Craig was professional, pragmatic and had a really good depth of knowledge on the kind of system that would be appropriate for our house. They use very good quality kit, meaning we've had no issues. The fitting team were also super efficient, and dealt very ably with my poor old roof and its slightly rubbish tiles.

This comprised of inset led ceiling lights, led surrounding floor lights and an electrical shower installation.The work done was efficient , tidy and completed to the current electrical regulations and I was so pleased with the final results.
