Absolutely Fantastic. 100% recommend

3 days since the installation and we are already seeing savings and have had a positive environmental impact. Think Solar have been magnificent! The pre sales experience was great, they were extremely responsive and happy to answer all our questions, plus we had a site visit to an installation so we could see exactly what our set up would be like. The actual installation was brilliant. started at 8, commissioned at 3:30, everything cleared away and clear instructions on usage. I honestly cannot recommend Think Solar enough

Simply outstanding service

Simply outstanding service, Daryl arrived at the agreed time, explained everything very clearly, discussed with me my requirements and then suggested solutions and agreed what we needed all with no pressure and a very friendly approach. We decided to get an extra battery and change our EV charger which was definitely the way forward. The installation by Jeff and the team was first rate and everything was installed to a very high standard, everyone worked constantly, fitting the full system well withing the agreed time frame. It is clear that attention to detail is high on the list for all the staff and the site was left very clean and tidy. Jeff set up the phone apps I need to monitor the system explaining in detail all the info I needed to know. The office staff are very efficient and the fact they complete all the relevant paper work for all concerned is a god send. Jeff is always on the end of the phone for any assistance no matter how small the question. On the day Jeff kindly put the drone up taking pictures of my property and the installation and sent them to me instantly. All in all this is a very friendly company that are passionate about what they taking great pride in the work they carry out. 100% recommend them, I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Honestly can’t fault Free solar with any aspect of the service. I’d had that mainly quotes I was confused and worried about the right products and companies. So glad I went with them. Geoff and Ben were just amazing in the day, kind, courteous, experienced and so tidy but most of all genuinely cared about the service at fitting as did the whole team. Daryl was so patient providing honest and transparent guidance and information re the products. Honestly I am a nightmare customer normally as I don’t trust salesmen but hand in heart if you are even thinking about solar products then you must go with Free solar.

Teamwork for excellent outcomes.

Quick response to contact with the company followed by site visit within a few days. This meeting covered everything to do with installation of solar panels, batteries and EV charging point. All my questions were answered clearly and well. Good rapport established.Follow up was excellent including a visit to choose location of batteries, EV charger etc which prioritised meeting my needs and wishes. Installation complete in less than 2 weeks from first contact, scaffolding erected and removed in one day. A follow up visit, in the 2 week window, sorted out apps for me and did all communication with eletricity company. Each of the contractors was personable and professional in every respect. Office staff communicated really well and in harmony with the team of installers.

The best solar Pannels!

Our system has been installed over 6 months now and wow what a system, it’s amazing it’s over achieving by over 50% of what was quoted, even when it’s been the wettest dullest winter we have still been able to generate kWh and even on some days we over produce and sell back to the grid. Daryl and the team are fantastic, and couldn’t be more helpful!! 100% recommend this company and happy to talk to any person needing more information. We had other quotes but this company outshone everyone! Thank you Daryl and team.

Think free solar. 9.kwh battery installed at a very competitive price. Great team very friendly and pleasant professionals. Thay explain everything regarding the installation. Even go my a £50 referral fee for moving my energy account. If you thinking of getting battery and or solar think free solar is the company for you.

Been absolutely fantastic!

Been absolutely fantastic! They really care about their customers. Had a horrible experience with a previous solar panel provider. Think Free Solar came in and gutted the previous fire hazard, put in a new system, explained how everything worked and helped set up tariffs with the energy supplier. They were open, honest, answered all questions and are contactable. They’re certified, have pride in their work and care about helping their customers get the best experience out of their products. I can’t thank them enough!

Fantastic service from design to install

Fantastic service from design to installation, if you are considering having solar panels fitted I definitely recommend Think Free Solar. We had 18 x 480w panels and 3 x 10kw battery storage and it was all installed and commissioned in 1 day.

Great customer service

We had a battery and solars installed, WOW what a difference this has made, only spent £55 on electricity for the whole of 2025!!! I’d recommend Think Free Solar they were really good and did everything they said they’d do!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend Think Free Solar We had solar and battery systems installed by Think Free Solar at both our home and our office, and the results have been outstanding. Before solar, our home energy and fuel costs were around £750 per month, with the office costing a further £200 per month. Since installation, those costs have been virtually eliminated. We’ve also switched from two fossil-fuel cars to an electric van, which now runs largely on our own solar — making full use of the energy we generate instead of exporting it cheaply. Based on real billing data, the systems are saving us £7,500–£8,500 per year, giving a realistic return on investment in around 4–5 years. Over 15 years, that’s well over £100,000 saved — money that stays in our pocket rather than going to energy companies. The Think Free Solar team have just been back out to install a solar-compatible EV charger at our office, allowing us to take full advantage of charging our vehicles whether we’re at home or at work. As with the original solar and battery installs, the work was carried out to a very high standard. The team arrived on time, communicated clearly throughout, and did an excellent, tidy job — despite working in sub-zero temperatures with snow on the ground. The charger is now fully integrated with our solar setup, giving us maximum flexibility and ensuring we’re making the best possible use of the energy we generate. It’s another example of how Think Free Solar don’t just install equipment, but think about the whole system and long-term performance. Once again, a professional, reliable, and knowledgeable team. From start to finish, it has been a joy to have such a professional team carry out the work on my solar array system. Knowledgeable salesman, very helpful back up team that nothing seems to difficult for, through to the two installers, all have been very enthusiastic and taking care with my property while carrying out the battery upgrade to my system with a friendly attitude leaving me with no doubt that I would highly recommend them. After having nine companies around, the professionalism, knowledge, and honesty from Daryl at Think Free Solar were unmatched. Although slightly more expensive, he was one of the few who could confidently answer all my complex questions, backing everything up with evidence — even showing me his own system on the app. Many sales reps from other companies didn’t even have solar themselves, which was concerning. The installation was incredible — no mess, no hassle — and Jeff talked us through every stage. I was especially impressed with his detailed demo of the app and the clear, easy-to-understand certification pack. Absolutely A-star service!

The quality of the system they provided is already very apparent — the app is easy to use, and we’re already seeing returns through the buy-back. The battery storage is a real game changer, allowing us to charge overnight at just 7p. We honestly thought it sounded too good to be true, but Daryl clearly knows his stuff and made sure we got the very best out of our system with his expert design. He even went above and beyond by helping us set up with Octopus Energy for the EV rate. The system was installed within two weeks, exactly as promised. I was kept in the loop throughout, and the installation was speedy and seamless. Daryl took the time to walk me through how the full app operates, which really helped me get the most out of the system. Unlike pushy sales consultants, Daryl gave an honest assessment of what he recommended for our setup and clearly explained the differences between the higher-quality system and the cheaper alternatives. He also suggested an additional battery due to the amount of energy our system would generate. Initially, we decided against it — but Daryl was absolutely right! The system is producing over 20kWh a day, so we’ve since gone back to Think Free to install the extra storage. Lesson learned: listen to the professional, and Daryl is certainly that. A special mention to Jeff, who installed everything within a single day — exceptional work and a credit to the company. They’ve truly restored my faith in dealing with big companies. Excellent in every way!
