We were interested in solar power to try and minimize energy price rises. From the first phone call, to the final commissioning it has been a pleasure to have Norcroft Electrical Ltd install our solar panels with battery back up system. During the initial survey they listened to our requirements and offered advice. Dates were arranged for scaffolding and installation which were met on time. The team of five were very professional, pleasant, tidy workmanship and very respectful of our property. One day installation of the panels on the roof, a second day commissioning the inverter/battery back up and associated electrical work and we were generating solar power. We would have no hesitation in recommending this company to do a fist class job. Chris & Julie King

The team arrived with ladders that were not tall enough to reach the roof, despite our house being of average size—other houses nearby are even taller. They were unable to access the flat roof and appeared disorganized and somewhat disinterested in the job. Since they couldn’t clean the solar panels, they attempted to service them instead and mentioned there might be an issue, but they weren’t certain. We offered our own ladders, which we know are suitable for the job as my husband has used them to access the roof previously. They did make an attempt using them but seemed hesitant, which is understandable as they weren’t their own equipment. They said they would follow up, but we have not received any communication since. Additionally, the paperwork that was meant to be completed during the visit was left unsigned on a bench outside, and we haven’t heard anything further.

Installed a solar battery pack,delta very professional with some commissioning issues. The system is performing above my expectations and I have no hesitation in recommending Horcroft Energy

I contacted Norcroft to replace a failed KwH meter on my solar panel installation as the original supplier is no longer trading. They got back to me the same day and fitted the job in as soon as they could as they understood I was losing money on my power generation subsidy. Installer arrived at the promised time and they provided me with a letter to send to my solar payment provider. I would use them again. Thanks Norcroft.

Norcroft Electrical were the closest company to me, dealing with broken down solar panel inverters. They gave a quote quickly which was acceptable, and once they received the replacement inverter, quickly delivered and installed it. Top job!

Norcroft recently rewired our kitchen and installed downlighters prior to new kitchen being installed. They were hard working , informed us throughout and cleaned up after themselves. Extremely pleasant and polite young guys and we are very happy with the workmanship . All certification came through promptly and good comms with the office throughout. Norcroft are my first choice and my absolute recommendation for any electrical work. There are many contractors who will do a job for less by using cheaper parts and cutting corners. For my money, I want products and an install that performs faultlessly so I specify Norcroft.

Norcroft did a small electrical install for us last year with no fuss. After a house move, being local, Norcroft was our first call for a 4kV domestic solar install. From initial contact to quote to install was all first class. Phillip advised on what we needed and talked me out of what I didn't need. Good old fashioned Yorkshire values, spot on. Helen back in the office did a sterling job when the panel supplier couldn't deliver what had been ordered. We had a few minor jobs done at the same time that all were expertly carried out. They even swept up afterwards! If you want a proper job doing not a cheap bodge job call Norcroft. Highly recommended (and its rare I say that!).

Felt comfortable from our very first contact with Norcroft Energy to the moment our solar panels started generating electricity. Competitive pricing (though not up for haggling!), quality gear, i cant think that there are any other installers in the area who are as good as these guys. Scaffolding went up on schedule even though i was still on holiday, installed on time despite terrible weather, cleaned up after installation and even cleaned the windows and cleared the guttering!! They helped with EPC certs, FIT payments paperwork etc. Nothing was too much trouble. Cant praise these guys highly enough. If you are looking for solar pv installations in the Holmfirth, Huddersfield, Barnsley areas, you would be mad not to use these guys!
