Over a period of 12 months I contacted several electricians with a view to installing my Google Nest thermostat. Some of them visited my property to inspect the job. I was told various things such as; it wasnt possible to install, it would cost £500 to install, the capacitors on a model sat in a box for a several months no longer work, and some of them I never heard from them again despite chasing. I have solar pannels on the roof of my property which generate electricity to sell to the grid and also heat up hot water in a tank. It looked like this was causing some of the electricians problems. I was about to give up when I called HJT electrical and an electrician came round at the agreed time almost immediatley. He installed the Google Nest with no fuss and at a very reasonable price. He was professional, courteous and was perfectly confident in his ability to install the thermostat. I have used the thermotat now for several weeks, throught the winter, and it works perfectly. I would not hesitate to recommend this company and I will be using them again in the future.

5* Installation of Google Nest Good job from a pro supplier listed on the Google Nest website. Installed as I wanted too (with cable chased into the wall) for a flush fit, which to be fair isn't a fun job with old horse hair plaster. ..Also helpful advice in setup and using the system so it was left working and with us having a good idea on how to use it. Lastly, great communication, which was very much appreciated having contacted another listed (closer) installer first who didn't get back to me for a week, and then only to give me a thumbs up for finding someone else to do it!! so if you're in Gwynedd and Angelsey try HJT first.

So pleased with the work they've done. They have been to my house a few times since I purchased it last year, gradually fixing some electrical faults but more recently undertaking an overall safety check and the work required to comply with safety regulations. We recently started the process of purchasing a property that was a bit of a project, and being so far from where we are currently located meant we had to search for an electrician online. We decided to contact Huw because of his excellent customer reviews, and I am so glad we did. He provided us with a full installation inspection, so that we knew exactly what needed doing in order to make the property fully safe. We also asked for a quote, and were planning to ensure that Huw and his team had access to the property as soon as possible to get us up and running, although he kindly offered to set us up with a dedicated safe socket for our caravan while we were doing other more urgent works. The quote provided surprised us, as it was exceptional value (we had some experience of having a rewire so had expectations in terms of cost). We have unfortunately had to pull out of our purchase due to other issues, but we are still moving to the area and hope to be able to call on Huw in the future for any of our future electrical needs. Response to any queries was prompt and detailed. Work was to a high standard, and could be relied upon to arrive at the property to start work as agreed.

Absolutely brilliant company,  very responsive to calls and emails. Very good at working around problems and finding solutions. Brilliant workmanship and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and very flexible and were able to come back when necessary during the kitchen remodel. Also added power to the garage all this at a very reasonable price. We would recommend this company if you are looking for an electrician.
