From the very beginning meeting with Craig the whole experience was very positive, The electrician Who installed the battery and inverter was immaculate leaving the area clean tidy and installing a new fuse box, changing the item to a smaller specification was well noted as the first item was oversized and not required he could have just fitted it and said nothing but he advised on the correct spec excellent tradesman. The fitters of the solar panels worked in awful weather conditions and completed the job leaving area clean and tidy another excellent team of workers, I bought the solar panes from Craig Michaels on a referral and glad I did , I would recommend them to any prospective purchaser. I have already given out 2 referrals. A job well done thank you.

I have just had my Solar/Battery system installed by CMR, From start to finish the whole process has been brilliant, no pushy upsell tactics and in fact Craig offered me cheaper alternatives. The installation team were extremely professional and were able to work around my schedule with no fuss. All paperwork/documentation was provided at the end of the installation and regular updates were provided throughout. I cannot fault the quality of the work. I did get various quotes from the big box names but using a local company was always preferable to me. I would 100% recommend Craig Michael Renewables and should I ever need to change my system I will definitely use them again.

After researching domestic and commercial solar installations across the West Midlands, I came across Craig Michael Renewables. I was looking for someone with broad experience who could offer well-rounded, impartial advice, and Craig delivered exactly that from the outset. Once we agreed on the installation, Craig and his team were outstanding. They worked extremely hard, acted impeccably throughout, and delivered exactly what was promised, a fully functional and highly effective solar system for both my home and business. I genuinely couldn’t recommend this company highly enough. I was impressed from start to finish.

Solar panels, inverter and batteries. Simple and effective installation. We are a bungalow so not overly complex. The team were friendly and very tidy, took all their rubbish with them when they left. Bernie (electrician) seemed to know and understand all aspects of the installation and the components. He took the time to help me download the app and how to use it. Craig, did the initial survey and spent the time understanding our requirements and helping us select the panels and batteries. Would recommend to anyone researching a solar installation or taking the decision to install. Thanks.

What a great company, I'd contacted a number of Solar Installers for quotes and advice and Craig was the first to come out and give me a great no jargon explanation of what I could and couldn't expect and fit with the space available no hard sell just honesty. The quote was 1st rate, nobody else managed to meet it with everything that I wanted out of the system and in the timescale that best suited me. Everything was installed inside the timeline agreed, all the guys going above and beyond in some dire weather to finish the job. A big thank you to them all as well as Leanne in the office.

Provided an excellent service from start to finish. Craig came out personally to discuss my requirements and provided answers to all my questions without any sales pressure at all. A full and very competitive quotation was provided a few days later, and installation was completed within a few weeks of ordering. The installation team were also excellent too. Top quality work from both the electricians and the roofers installing the panels. If your looking for a solar PV system I'd thoroughly recommend these guys. 10/10 from me!

Absolutely SUPERB. Every step of the way, from the initial survey consultation through to install and sign-off. We'd been considering solar panels for many years but 'pay back' timings plus the early days ugly panels put us off. But also, the biggest 'game changer' is having a battery to store not only the 'free' energy from the sun but hugely reduced over night energy prices from the grid when top-up is required on dull days in winter. Due to various reasons including the ever increasing energy prices, we decided to get quotes. We initially approached the national company (logo purple invertebrate mollusk) and as it's always sensible to get alternative quotes, invited Craig Michael Renewables too. We prefer to support local, independent businesses, where possible. Craig was professional, friendly and easy to deal with. He listened to our requirements and concerns and reassured us about everything. The quote was very good. Leanne (administration) was incredibly helpful and efficient, guiding us along the way on the order of works and procedures. At install.... scaffolding guys (provided as part of job) were friendly, very respectful of our property and erected a great structure. Roof installers (John and Mick) were wonderful. Infact they advised us that there was room for an extra two panels (not possible to see from ground level at quote stage), we gladly agreed (get as many panels as possible). John and Mick were respectful of property, tidy and friendly. Electrician (John) again was fabulous. Poor lad had to work in freezing temperatures all day. Although it was inside garage, he still had external work. Fair play to him. Post installation meeting was carried out by Bernie and young lad. They came to go through the entire operational system and explain the App etc Overall, Craig Michael Renewables Team are superb. Highly recommended, competitively priced and smooth installation process. We are delighted with our fabulous system and have managed to reduce our 'peeping' at the App down to 15 times per day!!!!!!!!!

Craig Michael Renewables did a great job specifying and installing our solar panels and batteries and integrating them into our system. When there was an issue with one of the batteries this was quickly identifed and replaced. They designed the system so we could obtain the maximum power from our roof space.

Review Can’t speak highly enough of Craig and his team. The quote was competitive and the design was exactly what we wanted. When it came to the installation the team were fantastic. The battery and inverter installation in the garage was very neat, whilst the team working on the roof had to endure the rain and cold. We are very pleased with the end product and the service. Would wholeheartedly recommend Craig Michael Renewables.

Had my Solar panels installed by Graig and his team in mid september and up to date i am clocking approx 65 % self sufficiency this time of year ! Cant wait for the Spring/ Summer when i should be hitting 90 % + AND grid exporting to help pay for my winter use !! It's a No brainer guys , so thankyou Graig and his team for your hard work , l'm well happy 🙂

Overall a very good installation, just wish I had fitted about 10kw of battery instead of 6.4kw as it would have been far better for the winter months. Also with one panel failing (1/3 power loss), it is not viable to replace due to cost of scaffolding. A shame the guarantee does not include all costs.

What can I say… right from first point of contact to connection and demonstration we knew we’d chosen a brilliant company. They were very competitive on price with no hard sell, listened, explained, modified the system to suit us and provided us with a superb installation. Craig, Leanne in the office, and all the guys on site were lovely… always turning up when expected, communicating quickly, explaining well and respectful to us and our home… I’d certainly have them back. The system is great, we’re already seeing the benefit… but… WORD OF WARNING… you WILL get obsessed with the app lol… it’s our new “best thing” to see how our solar’s performing and how much we’re ’not taking’ from the grid anymore… roll on Export too. Absolutely brilliant, professional service from start to finish along with a very competitive price. Craig, Leanne, and the team on site (Mick, Peter, Mane and their apprentice) were fantastic from start to finish. I am very “Picky” and couldn’t fault anything of the install along with no pushy sales tactics. Nothing was too much trouble and everything completed in a quick timely manor. Great experience from start to finish. Craig explained each system and how it suited our specific needs and supplied a very competitive quote. Berny came to view and chat to us about how the installation would progress and was very knowledgeable. Berny and Jay were also very flexible and knowledgeable regards how to install to meet our requests about the routing of all the cables. Berny installed a temporary fix when there was an issue outside his control on Firmware upgrades. He took time to chat through how the system worked alongside the necessary Apos that we needed. The solar panel team were also brilliant and discussed with us various options on the day of how best to utilise our roof space. Finally, the scaffolding went up and down without any hassle promptly after the installation was completed. It’s been an absolute pleasure from the entire Craig Michael Renewables team!

We've recently had solar & a battery installed by Craig and his team. The whole process from initial call, meeting Craig, figuring out a solution and the install was spot on. No pushy sales tactics, quick & efficient. All insurance, product info, G99/DNO, HIES & NAPIT paperwork was sent quickly and above board. All work was really tidy, scaffolders were on time & neat. Cabling was labelled, thoughtfully routed and caused minimal disruption. Roofers were also great & completed some extras whilst up on the roof for me. Everybody involved turned up when they said they would and always left my home clean & tidy. I really can't find a single thing to moan about. Initial call to install & DNO approval was within a month & quote was one of the cheapest we got. Even with the shocking weather since everything was signed off, the battery and tariff change has halved my bill with our GSHP and huge electricity usage. ROI, is looking at around 6 years, Solar will definitely chip that even lower. Really appreciate the work guys!

A great local PV Installer who goes the extra mile to ensure their installation meets the customer's requirement. Installations are bespoke whereas "the nationals" seem to only take on simple straightforward projects. A great very professional team of electricians and installers with the support from a local scaffold company. Craig is very easy to deal with, not a pushy salesman and talked us through the benefits of differing design solutions to find the optimum for us.

I'm delighted with my installation, which was completed today. Very neatly done and a great team of installers. Craig was extremely helpful in outlining my options and guiding my choice of system. Very pleasant company to do business with.

What a fantastic team at Craig Michael Renewables! Really pleased with how the team worked together and explained exactly what they were doing throughout the install. We had 12 panels installed, and a 9.6kw battery. We're really impressed with how neat and tidy the install of the inverter and batteries looks. On the days where we've achieved 100% charge on the battery, we've easily got through the whole night on just the battery. We originally thought a 5kw battery was the way to go, but Craig was right in recommending a larger capacity one - thanks Craig. Many thanks again guys - great job!!
