I consider they come unprepared for a job using it as an excuse to drive to get stuff. Who has heard of an electrician who does not carry a 60 watt bulb and a 3 pin socket after being told what the job entails? Mechanisms to drive up costs. Huge bill for what was done. Never again

I have used Arnold Electrical for several jobs, and they have always been fantastic. Polite, tidy and they do great work. I would highly recommend them. The only time there was an issue with the work it was a genuine oversight, and they came straight back out to fix it so that the plasterer could still come as planned the following day. Excellent company.

I had my solar panels fitted on the 6th of December 2024 by Arnold electrical. I had two hard working men Adam and Dean who worked tirelessly until the work was done, they also cleaned up after themselves and left my home cleaning tidy. Arnold electrical are also reasonable in price they would not let you waste your money, Paul took time talking to me, about my solar panel and how much I need. The price is reasonable comparing with others I would recommend them to friends and family. Lillian

We live in a student house and our landlord brought in Arnold Electrical to do various jobs around the house. Lewis was here for 3 days and did a fantastic job. He was very efficient, friendly and did a great job in explaining everything he had done. Lewis was a very nice guy and I would really recommend Arnold Electrical if you are looking for an electrician. Thank you to as well to Declan who was here for the second day of work.

Approached this firm based on their good reviews in Yellow pages and very pleased with their professional service. Had multiple electrical issues with my property and Richard's team provided comprehensive report and reasonable cost to rectify them all. Installation quality is good and will recommend them to anyone.

Have used Arnold Electrical many times since I moved into my current property over 8 years ago and wouldn’t trust anyone else. You may find a cheaper electrician but the quality of work, professionalism of the engineers and attention to detail is fantastic. Latest job was a SWA cable for an outbuilding and Chris was brilliant making it as neat and non-intrusive as possible, this was on the back of Toby doing a site visit previously to ensure all would run well at install. Highly recommend.

Called for a broken oven. Call to the lady in the office was very easy and friendly. Explained their charges and arranged a day for the engineer to attend. Engineer was equally as friendly. Broken element was identified and replaced in no time at all with no unexpected add ons. Would highly recommend

My outdoor electrics had become unreliable and dangerous. I am very pleased with Arnold Electrical. My garden now has safe, reliable and resilient electrical connections that are not just functional but also discrete and aesthetic. The system was complicated and required a second visit. From start to finish the whole job installing our solar PV system was dealt with professionally and carefully by all the team. The two lads who did the installation were very professional and did a very neat job. Would, and already have recommended them to others.

Our company worked with Arnold Electrical on the design and install of a solar PV array. Their advice, input and installation was first class. Paul gave us plenty of support where needed and was a perfect contact point throughout the process. Adam did our install and it was completed quickly, but he took plenty of time to meet with us and run through the whole process with us, as well as ensuring everything was completed to a high standard. Highly recommend.

This is a fantastic family own company. Paul is the main man and an absolute delight to work with and talk to. I had a full installation of Solar Panels. Front and back of my house with a battery unit connected to. I came across them through an advert in a van. I got in touch with them. He was promptly in making the survey visit on a time that suited me. He went through the pros and cons and provided a full report. The quote was what I would expect it to be. But I was after the whole package not just the final figure. I had to have permission to get the installation done and that delayed us as well as being poorly. After about 3 months things got resume. And even though the prices of the battery had increased I was honoured the original price. On the same day I paid the deposit they gave me an installation date that without fail they did attend. The work was supposed to have taken 4 days. They ran one day over due to sickness but the weather was very cold and I fully acknowledge it. It was not an issue from me at all. The came on the first and subsequent days on time and ready to crack on. They were well mannered and professional. They explain every step of the way and involved me in every decision that needed taken. They went far and beyond to keep as much of the cables off show of the walls of the property and monitors and the essential boxes were kept in the safe place and out of view. We had a couple of hick ups but was more not knowing the setting of the system than anything. ie: forgot to reboot everything as when the installation took place they had to cut off the electric supply a couple of times. I contacted Paul in every occasion and he even wanted to come out at 6 pm from his house to see what the problem was. Luckily through his indications and my pictures he did not need to come out. Even till now. Any queries or outside questions beside to the system he is happy to answer them. Also, deposit went into a save scheme. And all relevant documentation of certificates of the installation were sent to me I can not recommend enough this company enough

These guys are the absolute opposite to your usual experience with trades people : Reliable , customer focused , friendly and very professional. I've used them previously after a recommendation from my sister - in - law and just agreed another job to complete. If you want any electrical work doing , don't bother calling anyone else because these blokes will do it for a really fair price and you will be very impressed with their service .

I was encouraged by previous reviews of this company and now have my own experience to share and recommend. I corresponded with Allan who was very responsive to my messages and dealt with all requests swiftly and comprehensively, something I found most helpful indeed. The electricians undertaking the works were a few over several visits but I found them all to be courteous and professional, and one especially helpful in explaining things to me both pre and post works (NB works were on a Grade II* listed church ie not domestic). I would wholeheartedly recommend this company.

Our shower wasn't turning on, so we booked them in for a replacement. When the person came to do the replacement, he told us our shower was fine and it was just the switch that needed replacing. I was really impressed with his honesty and helpfulness, as he could just have easily said nothing and done the replacement, which was a more expensive job. He also provided other helpful advice and even helped fit our electricity meter cover back on. Very professional and knowledgeable! I will definitely be using them again should we have electrical needs.

Professional and punctual service. Polite and experienced staff and helped me to be reassured during a house move that my electrical work was safe . Used twice in a month for showers to be fitted and heated towel rails all supplied and fitted Would definitely recommend .

Great work from Stuart and Grant over the last few days. We had a full house electrical survey and safety test. Which flagged up various issues. All of the problems dealt with including a new electrical switch board which was in a tricky location too. Did a great job, very professional, and pleasant to talk to about the job that they were doing. Most importantly they were very tidy and clean. We have had a lot of various professions doing stuff in our house over the last few months, they mostly either didn’t remove their shoes or had to be reminded constantly. We didn’t have to ask Grant and Stuart once to take off their shoes when coming inside. To me that is a sign of great respect to the customer and that continued with the pride they took in their work. Really pleased. Thank you.

Really good service and would highly recommend! The office were very helpful and communication was really good and appointments were arranged quickly for the work to be completed. The staff were friendly and efficient and turned up on time. The work carried out was to a very high standard and very professional. No complaints and would always use in the future.

Needed an electric certificate quickly. They were on time really tidy and explained everything they came back the same week to carry out the necessary work. Great electricians really helpful and friendly. Had brilliant communication with the office so knew exactly what was happening. Would recommend.
