Heat pump installation - great service

Great service from start to end of our heat pump installation. Brilliant on site team, particular shout out to Josh, such a hard working engineer, polite and always ready to answer the (101!) questions we asked.

As a customer who recommended this company to quite a few neighbours and gave them more business, I would no longer recommend this company to anyone. If your battery breakdown it’s no longer their problem. Our battery has been broken for the past 8 months, failing a replacement in November and we are supposedly getting another replacement in March. No compensation or exchange for a different brand. You are on your own to sort it out with the battery company. They will only provide their customer service until the installation and will provide the worst service you will ever experience if your battery fails. If I could give 0 stars I would for the stress and disappointment they caused us for the past few months.

From the very first survey I was so impressed with 21 degrees. David was incredibly helpful and knowledgable to guide me through the best tailored option for my new build property. The team carrying out the work were amazing, incredibly diligent and super neat, the finish is far better than I had anticipated. I would highly recommend Matt & his team for anyone considering solar.

Contacted 21* 4 weeks ago as heating system had failed and not working. Sent several emails and left phone messages without any response. Sadly will never use again. Annual service was okay but no report left or received since

I took out a 7 year maintenance…

I took out a 7 year maintenance contract in about 2018. Every year the previous two versions of this company came in October to service my heat pumps. In 2024 they didn’t turn up - said they sent an email to arrange to come, got no reply and then did nothing. I was away sailing for a year and I didn’t spot that they hadn’t been. I didn’t hear anything from them throughout 2025. In January 2026 I realised they hadn’t been in 2025, and on checking back they hadn’t been in 2024. So paid for 7 years maintenance in advance and for no reason at all didn’t fulfill their contractual obligation until I chased them several times, coming in Feb 2026, after no maintenance for almost 2 and a half years. At best the whole process was mid managed, at worst it’s just avoiding doing work they’ve already been paid for. No problem with the work that was eventually done - the guy that came to do the work was great. Probably not a great idea to then mither me for a review.

Very professional, courteous team all round. In spite of a few challenges with the house footprint, the installation team (Szymon, Brian,Kris, Guy & Dave)worked through the issues & were extremely helpful in making sure I was happy with the final outcome. Would certainly recommend

Great company from initial enquiry

Great company from initial enquiry, design and through to delivery of goods then subsequent commissioning of the MVHR system.

21 Degrees have been great. Chris who did most of the work was very diligent and easy to work with. His colleagues Toby, Ben and others were excellent too.

Highly recommend the team. There were issues with the battery (not their fault) but they went above and beyond in following it up and getting the problem rectified. They also attended several times to make sure the system was operating as it should be.

First class experience, especially with Chris and and Ben, who always go the extra mile. The quality of the work and technical advice from Matthew was excellent and I will be using 21 Degrees and the team on my next projects.

Fantastic product and experience

Great communication through the design process. A daunting amount of components arrive but the instructions very quickly put you at ease with everything fitting together beautifully. I also managed to lose my instructions so reached out to see if by any chance they were still on record and had them in my inbox within 10 minutes. Great service and a friendly team!

Solar `Panels and Tesla Powerwall Installation

We had solar panels and a Tesla Powerwall 3 installed by 21 Degrees and the whole experience was exceptional from start to finish. They later returned December 25 to install a second battery as well, and it was just as smooth and professional. What really stood out was the people. Every member of staff we dealt with went the extra mile — knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and clearly proud of the work they do. They took time to explain everything properly, answered all our questions patiently and made what could have been a complex project feel straightforward and well-managed. A special call out for Natalie J., who consistently went the extra mile. Thank you. Everything has been very reliable and has worked exactly as expected. The installation was neat, efficient, and clearly done to a high standard. Communication throughout was excellent, timelines were met and there were no surprises. It’s rare to find a company where the technical quality and the customer service are both this good. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 21 Degrees to anyone considering solar or battery storage.

The company has changed hands since they installed our Heat Pump in 2021, but the latest annual service was the best yet. The engineer was helpful and friendly and made a few settings changes which will save me a few quid each year.

Replacement windows in period property

We wanted replacement doors and windows for our C17th house that would be sensitive to a character property, yet deliver very low U values (All their products are trpple glazed). We also wanted a design and install service. Having researched the market for this type of product, we decided that 21 Degrees was the only company to meet our criteria. They have been a pleasure to deal with, especially around snagging and post-sales support. If you value quality above price, this is probably the company for you.

Slow to respond - unsatisfied customer

Booked to investigate a fault on our heat pump and had a service at the same time which wasn’t cheap! The Engineer could not find a fault with the heat pump but it failed again the following day. 21 degrees took a week to respond by which time we’d lost faith in them and used someone else to diagnose and repair the heat pump which turned out to be a common and easy to diagnose issue. I wouldn’t use them again.

If things are not right - they come back and sort it. I couldn't link my phone to the app that gives you real-time information on the output from my new 21 degrees system, it links to the inverter via your home-wireless. Callum came back and patiently set it all up for me for no charge. I would not hesitate to use this firm again. 7 months on from the installation & we are really pleased.

I had my air source heating serviced yesterday by 21 degrees, formerly eco-energy uk. A great service. Ben was early for an 8am start and he did a very thorough job. I have a much better understanding now of how the system works. Andy was great last year too and I’ve built on my knowledge from him with Ben. He was very efficient, everything is now working perfectly and I’m toasty warm tonight; long may that last! Many thanks to you all for such great service.

I would not hesitate to recommend this firm. Their work installing our air source heat pump and battery was competent and effective, as is their follow up annual servicing. Their employees are efficient, personable, polite and confident, completely reassuring.

Joe, Callum and Ollie did a great job! They arrived just before 0800, worked hard, explained the system, answered my questions and tidied up thoroughly.

Superb company. Knows what they are doing and highly professional, I could not recommend them enough looking for excellent solar / green solutions.

21 Degrees took only 4 days to replace the tank, install the heat pump, remove the gas boiler and gas fire in our home, and make good. They are a professional team that we felt were accommodating, polite, and very hard-working.

21Degrees have just finished a 4 day install of panels and batteries. From the quote to job completion has been straightforward and easy. A really polite and tidy install team were professional and to my amateur eyes did a neat and really good job. A few bits to be done later due to supply problems (not 21’s fault) but system up and running. Would recommend wholeheartedly.

21 Degrees installed a solar PV + battery system, plus MVHR system, alongside other renovations we were making to our house. This was completed about 3 months ago. I was very happy with the advice and the end result, and so far it's all working very well. The process started with ECO Energy, and continued during their takeover by 21 Degrees, but that didn't appear to cause any issues; they kept with the original quote and agreed work, and were able to complete it without any disruption. Would definitely recommend.

21 Degrees recently installed a PV system and battery pack at my home. I can wholeheartedly say that the whole process was very easy and simple. Everyone I dealt with was very professional and friendly. The team that came to install the system were excellent, very neat in their work and again professional and friendly, happy to answer any queries I had and very clear in their handover. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in installing such a system.

A great all round experience. From the initial quotation through to commissioning and hand over the team were great. The engineers were all knowledgeable and efficient whilst making sure the job was clean and tidy at all times.

Bravo 21 Degrees! We had our system (6kWh with 14kWh battery storage) installed by 21 Degrees at the worst possible time of year - mid-November. Despite that I have been really impressed with the performance of the system, especially as our install was not straightforward. We have a 3-storey home and a flat roof, and a basic solar system installed by the homebuilder, which had to be removed. The team from 21 Degrees was amazing, going about their work with the minimum of fuss, and the least disruption possible. Great care was taken to position the panels so that they would fit and be facing the best possible orientation. As an added bonus 21 Degrees also upgraded our panels and our battery capacity at no added cost. The extra battery power has proved to be really useful. Despite it being winter it means I have already been able to sell electricity back to the grid at peak times and make my variable tariff really work for us, topping up the battery on the cheap at night. And despite the dreary weather the new system has generated almost half of the electricity that we use. I'm seriously impressed by the quality of the installation and the extremely competitive quote, and recommend 21 Degrees wholeheartedly.

I used them a number of times over the last 4 years for boiler, solar and battery installation. Not only are they professional and reliable their follow up customer care has been excellent.
