Horrific customer service - Avoid Dawn Wright!
If I could leave a 0 star review then I would. The engineers for this company have been a pleasure to have round and install our boiler and Stuart has been a great help in being reactive and easy to talk to, but DAWN WRIGHT who works on their phones is nothing but a condescending, rude, unhelpful piece of work so avoid speaking to her if you have any problems or wish to speak to someone with even an ounce of empathy towards your situation. After having some issues with our boiler in February (2 months after our initial new installation) I called to get this issue resolved and was met with Dawn and her wrath for the first time. To paint a quick picture I was scraping ice off my car in the morning after temperatures dropped to below 0 in the night. And my wife was 6 months pregnant - so having a faulty boiler was NOT an option whilst having renovations to my house. We had an engineer come round on a Friday, who played around with the faulty component which prevented us from manually switching the lever on to allow our heating to work. Which prior to his visit we were able to do. As a result we were left with a faulty boiler over the weekend in freezing temperatures and I had DAWN telling me “it’s hardly freezing is it” - well actually Dawn, 0° is JUST THAT. Stuart then came round and sorted the problem - 10/10 from Stuart. Couldn’t be happier. Fast forward a year post installation, we receive an email in November stating they wish to confirm my availability for a service call. 1 year after installation of a new boiler - no mention of prices. We thought it was a routine check up after installing a new boiler system. Their system shows an email was sent, my emails show nothing of the sort. They proceed to send me screenshots, that’s great; I can see a screenshot, but again, the initial email was not received by us. So when presented with a £195 bill at the end, this was met with a huge WTF - we knew nothing of a charge!! Dawn continued to talk to me like I was the idiot - insisting I’d seen and opened this email. To which I responded again with “no, I have not” - they eventually wiped the fee off and said they’d never return even if we did request a service call?? Extremely unprofessional and worrying for us, as if we had known, we would be prepared to pay. It’s such a shame that one really bad egg can ruin the otherwise good reputation of a company and the other people who work there and do a good job and speak to their customers with respect. NCS - overall good company DAWN WRIGHT - Avoid at all costs - horrible person to speak to when there’s an issue to fix or a problem they’ve caused.
Wasted my time
After researching online for guidance and pricing on installing a heat pump, I came across their website. They were prompt in responding, quickly arranging a visit to my home. I appreciate the initial professionalism - confirming the date and time via email and SMS. However, what followed was nothing short of a disaster. On the day of the appointment, I received a missed call from an unknown phone number while I was at work. I couldn’t answer, so I sent a brief SMS asking, "How may I help you?" but received no response for 3 hours. Later, I was informed that they had double-booked the appointment and wanted to reschedule. This level of disorganization and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I canceled other plans and rearranged my schedule based on their initial commitment, only to be left hanging and treated as an afterthought. Their behavior was inconsiderate, unprofessional, and utterly unreliable. Do not waste your time or energy trusting these people-they cannot be depended on to keep their commitments. I reached out once again to request the complete removal of my data from their systems. They were polite enough to confirm that my request would be acted upon. However, despite this assurance, I am still bombarded with their spam emails. It is unacceptable that after explicitly requesting data removal, they continue to send unsolicited communications. Let me make this crystal clear: I demand that all of my personal data be permanently deleted from your systems immediately. Failure to comply with this request is a blatant violation of GDPR regulations, and I will not hesitate to escalate this matter to the appropriate authorities. Their lack of follow-through and disregard for privacy laws demonstrate a complete disrespect for user rights. This experience has severely damaged my trust, and I advise others to be cautious when dealing with this organization.
Excellent service from NCS.
Excellent service from NCS. They installed a new central heating boiler for me a few years ago and have been excellent in maintaining it with annual services carried out efficiently. They remind me when the appointment is booked, and the engineer always lets me know when he is on his way. Pricing is reasonable, and all the engineers are courteous, friendly, and respect my property. I can thoroughly recommend them!
Stewart was professional
Stewart was professional and polite. He explained exactly what he needed to do. He showed me some issues that I was unaware of. He explained logically why he'd reached his conclusions.

NCS installed a Grant air source heat…
NCS installed a Grant air source heat pump into our property, from the first contact with NCS to the completion of the installation I cannot fault this company. They put me at ease right from the start from the first enquirer call. Totally flexible regarding the customers’ requirements, many other companies i obtained quotation from would not offer a system to suit our requirements, not NCS they are fully customer focused. installation was seamless. Special thanks to Dawn and Stuart. I would have no hesitation in recommending NCS.

Solar panels. Ashp and full central heating hot water system installation…..From initial enquiries to completion of all works the whole process has been excellent.the team have all been great, keeping everything tidy as they progress and keeping us up to speed with everything highly recommended. Thanks to Dawn , Stuart, John, Tony, Lee and the scaffolders and roofing guys too
The company were excellent at stepping…
The company were excellent at stepping in when another plumber let us down. We can't fault the work or professionalism of the engineer. We were however shocked by the final bill - well in excess of the quotes of other plumbers. We have a large house, but a boiler service, gas safety certificate and single radiator change resulted in seven hours labour charged at £80. We've had rad changes before which didn't take so long and were charged with a set price well below our final bill of £560 plus VAT. So, a great firm,but watch out for the hourly charge - we were expecting a half day's worth of work only.

These guys are the best
These guys are the best. Super responsive. They installed my unit a year ago perfectly, just had my maintenance done (they proactively reached out) and I am SUPER HAPPY with my air source heating. Highly recommend.

ASHP for C19 house
We are new to ASHP's though very familiar with the nature of the building and services industries, and quickly realised that NCS really knew what they were doing and were giving us sound advice. Essentially we've taken their advice on all the components of the system, but have taken the major decisions on its layout based on their more general advice. Their staff are skilled, experienced and effective. We've had a couple of hiccups along the way, and each time they're been swift to sort things out effectively. You might find someone to put in a cheaper bid for an ASHP installation, but we doubt they would achieve the quality of advice, workmanship and customer service we've received. We did need to instruct some changes to their work, and these have been carried out at quite reasonable cost.
Professional, friendly and capable
NCS quoted for some heat pump work recommended by our Grant service engineer. They came out to quote, understood what we needed perfectly and gave us a very competitive quote.
Wonderful experience
Extremly proactive, fair prices, timely and clear communications. Even though we live overseas and were having a new heat pump installed to replace our old oil boiler, we only needed to have limited levels of input. NCS did everything on our behalf including government grant eligibility, site visit and scoping, dealing directly with our tenants for install and handover. They even arranged the install to co-oincide with a week our tenants were out of town. Great company that I would highly recommend and a pleasure to deal with.
2x ASHP install
NCS started the job on time and completed everything with minimal disruption. All very professional and all ASHP grant paperwork, warranty paperwork etc. completed promptly. A pleasure to deal with!
