Had a leak in my bathroom. Guy came out and said he needed another part for his multi tool. This was at 12:30! He never came back. Left my toilet worse then what is was. Shambles of a company.

Absolutely cowboys . Guy came out to fix my toilet he said me needed a bit for his multi tool.Left at 12:30 never came back . Meanwhile left me with a leaking toilet with a bag to catch water . How this company has a contract with HA’s I’ll never know . Cowboys don’t even deserve a star

Fantastic each and every one of they're workers helped moved things I couldn't wee boiler fella polish such a jem of a guy worked well finding a fault in my house. plasters, nothing was too much trouble cleared up after them on site foremen. Young gentlemen easy to talk to my council house is now lovely. Roasty toasty warm thanks to these two young fellas, guys that did the windows and doors hoovered all my floors when Finished made no mess this company worked through all weather up here in johnstone Castle. hats off to them for this thankless task must go home at night ill and when it boils down to it it's costing the tenants nothing really delighted

Do not get work done by this company if you do then you need your head examined

If I could no stars at all this company is a total joke cowboys off the first order hardly anyone can speak English to start with and the attitude towards Council tenants is horrible I have tried to get things done as I am disabled yet not one person seams to care there work is done to really bad standards and I am a plasterer and roughcaster to trade yet a trained monkey from a zoo could do better and that is the truth they do not clean up they do not help they do not care and yet when you contact the council about them all I can say there must be a back room deals getting done to cover up how bad this work is I bet in years to come most of this will bite the coucil on the backside take my word for that no wonder there is so many bad reviews about this horrible company and people who mostly work for them even the workers who are Scottish tell me to put a complaint in to them I have try so much to be very patient with it all yet nothing gets done this should be in the papers about them and there work yet who cares if you mango cares keep your mouth shut it seams to me but I have nothing to lose by saying how bad they really are

We had problems with our heating and got Marek ,what a lovely caring guy he is very passionate about his job ,we had no heating and he fixed it ,he went above and beyond he deserves a pay rise ,If anyone needs there heating fixed ask for Marek

We had a problem with our boiler, the guy who came out to do the Job was very thorough, polite and Efficient, I think his name was Marek, a Polish fellow with very good work ethics , I couldn't fault him, if he is the standard of MP Group, then they deserve 5 stars +

What a brilliant engineer Marek is!! He has gone above and beyond and not just repaired the valve but fixing a few other issues. He has been efficient, polite, respectful and kept everything clean and tidy. Marek had remembered I’d had an issue with a radiator upstairs and not only fixed it, checked all the others and got them working more efficiently. He also noticed the control panels had been set up for the wrong zones, so has corrected this, labelled them for future reference and explained it all clearly to me. It’s lovely to meet someone who is knowledgeable and passionate about their job, speaking highly of the company and the extra training he does to stay top of the game. So if in doubt: ask for Marek!! This man deserves a promotion I’m sure, with all the extra work he has fixed the system, I’m sure we won’t be needing to call him again, and a warm winter ahead.

They have been left with substandard properties because of MP Groups contractors incompetence and workmanship. Do not let them near your home.

If a could give zero a would ,how this company got council contracts is beyond Me . Mother been left with no roof or gutters for 7 weeks now ,windows covered in blue protection so can't see out . Do called workman walk up and down the gardens and have zero respect for any of the occupants . Now 8 days awaiting a call from site manager . Only answer from the reception is you were told 12-14 weeks to complete . Started may some in the avenue before then and not one property has been completed . No idea what their timescale is but it's certainly not 12-14 weeks . Absolute shambles of a so called company . If looking at private work look elsewhere

Under no circumstances use this company. Renfrewshire District Council use them, if they are in your area avoid them. They lie about remedial work, which is inevitably required after their mistakes, shoddy workmanship and general incompetence. They are guilty of aggressive bullying and harassment, especially to females, when a male is present they are more polite. They show no regard for damage to adjoining properties. Various properties in Renfrewshire area are having problems and legal action may be required to stop this group.

Should be zero stars. How this company is still going is beyond me. Incompetent, ignorant willing to employ people with no skills and total cowboys. I feel for anyone in a council house who has to endure this company "upgrading" their home. Your office was contacted repeatedly by myself, photos were sent, now waiting on new glass for the squint windows that don't fit properly and have condensation and marks in between the triple glazing, sky dish was broken and one of your "workmen" tried to sellotape it. Broke our fence by leaning scaffolding against it when being dismantled. Back door sitting tilted, front door had to be taken out and refitted, hammer and nails left lying in hallway, rubbish left on garden pathway with long nails all sticking up, drinks cans and nails left over garden, new waste pipe to be fixed 4 times, scaffolding up for weeks before any work even started, skip sitting on front lawn for weeks, workmen rendering in pitch dark, in the middle of winter with a light on their helmet 🤣 starting banging at 8 on a Saturday morning (after doing bugger all during the week) and continuing till 7 in the evening, drilling holes through into a neighbours hallway when removing old canopy(twice) coming through a neighbours ceiling, flooding another 2 neighbours houses, lying about putting screws in window as directed by building inspector. Leaving front and back doorways with daylight coming through the top, sides and bottom, I could go on and on. Your reviews are appalling and you shouldn't be allowed near anyones home. The council hires you because you're the cheapest and you sub contact window fitters etc who have no clue. Your company needs to be investigated and if I had the energy after enduring your so called workmen for weeks on end I would have took you all the road, I'm surprised you haven't ended up in court yet.

They don't finish any jobs

This company are not very professional they don't finish any job also they fob you off telling you what they think you want to hear don't go near them

On 26/02/2025 at 10:00 a.m., a representative from the MP group named Karen arrived at our property to inspect the boiler and internet connection. During her visit, she began taking photographs of our home, including personal areas such as the bedrooms, beds, etc. At the start of her visit, she said she would have felt compelled to enter the premises if I had not been there by force. I have filed a formal complaint regarding this incident. I have video records of all incidents.

Dreadful from start to very poor finish. Lazy, disrespectful workmen who each blamed the other for anything that went wrong. Smoking on site and leaving the butts lying everywhere. Rubbish left lying. Not using ladders on the scaffolding. Silicone looks like a 5 year old did. Constant lies and misinformation. Shocking finishing to the roughcast. Damage to our front door and windowsills because they couldn't be bothered covering them and then used what looked like wire wool to get the cement off. Hole into one of our rooms through sheer carelessness. AVOID AVOID AVOID

We have had a scaffolding for around 3 months and we have been with no roof for at least 1.5 months. Keep contacting them regarding water leeks and nothing gets really done.

A man from mp came to the house to do a gas safety check now my hot water and heating are not working but was fine before he entered the property. Now waiting on my landlord arranging someone to fix the issue - thankful they have scheduled me into fix the issue today caused by your lack of diligence Also the state use have left my garden in from doing external works Hope Renfrewshire council have Brains and get a new contractor - avoid this company at all costs. Have left blades on the garden path and also broken the bell for controlled buzzer entry. Also to add they are the same company that replaced new windows last year on the same day they fitted the window it cracked C Cow boy builders

My name is Mr George Nixon, MP group has fitted new patio doors to my property and have made a proper mess of fitting these doors in my kitchen. We have had management out to look at the doors after having to complain to the about the job. During the visit to inspect the work the supervisor open both patio doors and the full centre section came away and landed in the the inspectors hands. He was no amused and sends more workmen to rectify the issues bearing in mind I am disabled. The expanding foam exposed on the outside and the mastic job was done on 1 side on the outside there mu's have been about 3 inch wide gap full of mastic. This company is a disgrace they have the proper name on there vans MP GROUP WHICH I THINK FITS WELL WITH THE COMPANY STANDING FOR THE ...THE MORE PROBLEM GROUP. Patio door do open but it is a struggle to get them closed I am in a wheel chair and cannot close them,even someone able bodied stuggles to close them. The doors are not safe nor fit for purpose they even tried to carry the patio doors round from the van fully glazed and discovered they were two heavy and had to deglaze the 2 doors in the street. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL TO THE EXTENT I HAVE HAD TO SAY YOUS ARE NO LONGER WELCOME IN MY PROPERTY AND NOW CONTACTING THE OMBUDSMAN.They took the old patio doors of and disposed of the with my door alarm attached to them so my £1,300 camera/alarm system no longer works this company are COWBOYS NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS AND I WAS A JOINER TO TRADE SHAME ON USE MP GROUP STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY THE ARE THE WORST I HAVE EVER CAM ACROSS 😡😡😡😡update THE OMBUDSMAN NOW INVOLED AND ALSO TRADING STANDARDS . Company employment is that if a trades man has there tickets 🎟 then this MP GROUP do not ask for any CVS they just get employed without CVS this company I hope goes bust as they are such a disgrace !

Emailed the office last week because one of their drivers was driving so ridiculously dangerously. No reply which tells me a lot about them. Since posting the company has reached out and I'm assured they are actually taking my concerns seriously. I appreciate the contact and tone of communication so upgrade one to three stars.

WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY. Cowboys. I wish I had read the reviews before letting them work on my property. They have absolutely no respect for property. Damage fences, block Drains and kill off grass and promise you they will sort it. Talk a good game that's about it.

not even worthy of 1 star i am afraid be very careful before letting this company fo work .. large kitchen knife left on step gates left open mess was so bad never tidied up after themselves cigarette butts cans of drink and food rubbish just left on the floor kids grandkids and dogs were there total lack of respect the back roughcasting they have chipped some off and left it the way it is the front window edging is just diagnoled across not set in like a right angle there is still pipework and a brush lying the sealant is disgraceful seriously i could of done a better job now the scary part the condensation in the house upstairs is so bad the wallpaper is peeling off and has drip marks of water dried in and the damp that has appeared along the top ceiling above all the windows is a real concern the front porch wall we was NEVER told would not be done Pictures to follow emailed 2 weeks ago various messages to the site supervisor

Energy saving ewi having the opposite effect to what it should be doing. Badly positioned vent installed beside bed leaving temperatures at bed only 2c warmer than outside. Unable to access coal bunker for weeks due to scaffolding. Windows not opening properly due to wedges forcing windows up. Other windows with gaps still not sealed. Log storage broken and recently laid lawn full of stone chips. Broken sill. Issues were raised at the time and basically ignored.

It’s now going onto 7 months and still not finished. The damage to my driveway and back garden was with shoddy workforce having no respect for peoples property spoke to someone from mp rendering today. And of course more excuses but in the meantime my driveway is like a farmers field just ploughed and god knows when the job will be completed instead of actually doing a completed building before moving onto the next. Does not seem to happen with this company instead a whole village of incomplete jobs nightmare company full of excuses. This is a updated review and have edited this one as requested dated 18/2/2021

Just had my house done through a government scheme in Redding, Falkirk and this company were absolutely fantastic. The workmen were hard working and always pleasant. Top company!!
