FG22FHU Transit A47 eastbound Eye roundabout approx 8am today. If you hire single cell organisms to drive your liveried vans it may well be worth considering removing the livery to save face. Brainless must get in front of a lorry attitude overtaking on a roundabout going straight along A47E from a clearly signed and painted right turn only lane. Surprise surprise, the driver ended up going 30mph behind more congested morning traffic after forcing me to a near stop. Life pro tip for the amoeba that found their driving licence in a packet of walkers: if a large vehicle is slow to move off from a roundabout, chances are its heavier than the nuts of steel you think you have pulling stunts like that and, if it wasn't a case of road bravado, then it's time for a trip to Specsavers because there's no excuse for mistaking the abundance of signage and road paint leading up to the roundabout.

In response to your reply. Yes you have worked hard to avoid your responsibility. CEDR arbitration is as flawed as your company and CIGA are. Anyone thinking of arbitration then don't it's a trap. Seek an alternative (you still have consumer rights) Absolute Solar are an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. If you are looking to use this company then from my personal experience I would suggest you look elsewhere. Why risk it. There are much better out there who have higher ratings. Unlike Absolute Solar who score is "BAD". They are supposedly backed up the IAA guarantee don't be fooled it's a sham. The IAA and CIGA are an industry funded organisations who share the same office. I can assure you that this company and the IAA/CIGA work closely together to reject any claim you may have against the company. This has been my experience. Below is a transcript of a debate held in parliament. Do read it as it will give you a real insight into what to expect when you will need to raise a dispute against ABSOLUTE SOLAR. If are in the position don't go to arbitration that's leading you down a blind alley. Seek legal advice. Many people are then told to fall back on the guarantees issued through the Cavity Insulation Guarantee Agency—or CIGA, as many people refer to it. For the majority of people I have spoken to, CIGA often represents the biggest brick wall of them all, because what that industry-funded body appears to provide in far too many cases is protection in name only. I am sure that Members across the House have been approached by constituents who have sought an assessment from CIGA, only to be presented with various get-out clauses that prevent any kind of redress payment from being issued". "Then people are pointed to alternative dispute resolution, or independent arbitration. Several constituents have expressed significant concerns about how independent that process is, and many are reluctant to go down that lengthy route as, once a decision is made, it is legally binding and cannot be challenged, apart from in the High Court. The process is also expensive. It costs £130, and the complainant must pay for an independent surveyor’s report, so costs can stack up to £500. It can become, in essence, a one-way ticket to nowhere".

We had solar panels fitted on two flats in Bedworth 2 years ago. Still waiting for paperwork from them to register with electric company to get benefit of them very poor service

Probably a top company, but whoever drives the van with the reg ending in FUW, you should have your licence taken away from you. tailgating another van less than half a cars width away up the M1, doing over 70mph, weaving behind them, strandling multiple lanes at times. Disgusting behaviour. Surprised there wasn't an accident today. [UPDATE] Rating changed due to the Company's response to standards presented by the driver on this occassion. I appreciate that they would act on things like this.

They installed the solar panels system on our street. Within a month of them being activated they stopped working. Been waiting nearly 2 months for someone to even contact me. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

My installation with absolute solar was as a sub contract as an order I placed with eon. I’d mirror other 1 star experiences as a true reflection and encourage people to look elsewhere. My system was fitted incorrectly and it took 6 months to sort out with loads of hassle and as others say complete disregard for the fact people have lives - they turn up if and when they choose and go when they choose, it may be like others there’s a response saying it’s the wrong absolute solar. I don’t know how many there are based in the same area, I did find one in Florida though

The installation team were absolutely superb and fitted our 6.7 kilowatt system in a day. We were up and running 6 months after placing our order and really pleased with the results apart from the leak in the roof caused by a cracked tile which, to be fair, they fixed really quickly (after 3 phone calls to the lad in the office who i assume is a trainee). The problems started with the after service. There is none. We did not receive an MCS certificate. I did not know we needed one until i tried to sell back to the grid. It then turned out that they had not notified the DNO, which again i knew nothing about until my energy company provider told me that they should have done this. After a few back and forwards phone calls (about 5 over 2 weeks) we got this bit sorted and i submitted my MCS only to get an email from octopus telling me that the Declared Net Capacity on the MCS was wrong so we are still not able to sell our energy back. They had put the DNC of the system on, not DNC of the inverter which allows me to sell back. (We are now into the 2nd week of trying to solve this one) This backwards and forwards has been going on for the best part of 3 months and is now getting beyond a joke. I think I will calculate how much buyback i have lost and invoice them. I would rate the fitters as 5 stars and the office boy 0 stars

I have recently had Solar Panels and Storage Battery installed by Absolute Solar Ltd and I take great pleasure to say that it was a totally painless, pleasant and professional experience. The scaffolding was erected on the agreed date. The roofer (Connor) arrived on the agreed date and time and the Solar Panel installation on the roof was faultless. Very pleasant, courteous and professional young man. The Electrician and his Apprentice (Both named Morgan) were punctual, very pleasant, courteous and professional in their installation. I was extremely impressed with the professional level of service. I would recommend this company 100%

I have just had Morgan and Connor fit a solar panel system and couldn’t have been more impressed. They were helpful, courteous and went the extra mile to make the internal work smart and ‘finished’. I would highly recommend them to anybody who was thinking of taking the solar plunge.

An absolutely ridiculous service you can ever imagine. Johny the sales executive is a silver-tongued and amazing person.Apart from that the whole service, every point of contact is a symphony of atrocities.I will be coming back here to upload the details soon. Choosing solar is a brilliant decision but do it brilliantly with any other company NEVER! EVER! with this company!!

Great speech and honestly they did sell me on the product. I couldn't find my credit card to place a deposit, that's when it all turned around and I'm glad it went walkies. Turned into any means necessary to get money from me although I said I wouldn't mind losing the discount and waiting for a replacement to come through. I was just 'having them on' etc and the bully boy tactics came out. In retrospect, I don't know anyone that takes a deposit before a credit search, very suspicious there. Glad it went a bit array and look forward to never seeing them again.

Fantastic service from start to finish. Looked at a number of firms but Absolute were our choice. Quality branded equipment, SOLIS, Q-Cell, Pylontech etc. Great support and really quick install. With the increasing energy bills you should certainly consider renewables.

Ive been looking for quotes lately for solar power and after absolute making an appointment , i was this morning tested positive for covid and i was trying to contact them but to no avail, eventually a sales guy rang me to confirm my appointment, when i told him the situation he still pushed to make the appointment, then persisted he would visit in 5 days, when i said to give me a contact number i would ring them, he got nasty and verbally abusive then put the phone down, stay away from these guys, shop local.

Awful service from the salesperson, oh sorry, she said she wasn't one! We said from the off we were just getting quotes at this stage. She kept pushing that she couldn't do the whole quote without us confirming we were going to go through with it, very strange. Eventually we got the quote, more than others and she showed us an ipad which was covered in numbers and charts which she couldn't explain to us. We declined to proceed at the time as we wanted to think about it, we were told it would be a £30 charge plus travelling time for her to come back out, then her manager insisted on the phone we couldn't say maybe so guess what, we said no AVOID

Absolute recently fitted solar panels on my house, after looking at other companies Absolute turned out to be the best. They were very professional as well as very nice. Would definitely recommend!

An unbelievable experience from one of their salesman. After the usual 90 minute sales pitch, he became extremely abusive when I wouldn't sign up. He proceeded to get his boss to insult me through his speaker phone, before refusing to leave my home because I had "wasted his time"! Eventually I had to call the police. There followed a bizarre experience of watching him running down the street being chased by the police! The officer concerned told me that he had had previous dealings with the salesman, and described it as "high pressure sales taken to the max, And beyond" Although amusing in hindsight, the situation was extremely intimidating, and the thought of more vulnerable members of society being exposed to it is of great concern to me. I have, of course, reported it to trading standards.

We had four companies visit to quote for solar panels to be installed. Had a 4kWp system installed two years ago by Absolute Solar. The installers were professional and courteous and did a great job. The office staff need a little push now and then to keep me informed on what was going on.

AVOID this ABSOLUTE JOKE of a company!! It's taken me a lot of courage to write this review, but people should know about this company. First arranged visit - Nobody shows up. No phone call, no explanation or even an apology. After phoning to complain and speaking to a clueless woman and then a "manager" called Rob(?) (who seemed to be talking into a muffler - I couldn't understand a word) a second visit was arranged. This time the two fitters were 5 and a half hours late! But at least some work was going to be done. Or so I thought. After about half an hour of them being in my house, I wondered how everything was going, so went to have a peek. I found one fitter wondering around and looking through my bedroom, while the other had decided he'd go and use the bathroom and have a spray of all of my husbands aftershaves! NOTHING had been done and at this point I asked them to leave. It gets worse I'm afraid - later that night I found that some VERY personal possessions were missing. The kind of "possessions" that would have been hidden and you don't want to phone up and complain about if you know what I mean! Overall I feel extremely let down, humiliated and absolutely violated by this company. Also the guy in their office "Tony" is a complete PRAT! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!
