Absolutely nothing to fault!

Our village hall now has an Air Source Heat Pump, solar panels and battery storage with the possibility of export to the grid. From the very first request for a quote to the final knowledge transfer process, this company performed at the highest level. Even though their quote was higher than others, the feeling of confidence we had in their ability to deliver and take ownership of issues and resolve them, made us select Ledi Renewables. That confidence was not mis-placed. The team were very knowledgeable and able, as well as being friendly, approachable and happy to explain the process. They're very customer focused. The pipework looks almost like a work of art. Everything was finished to a very high standard. Areas they'd worked in were cleaned properly after they'd finished.

These guys were absolutely brilliant, so friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They were also very clean, tidy and polite. Making the whole experience much easier than expected. My Husband, described Ledi Renewables work as, without a doubt the highest standard of workmanship he’s experienced in over 30 years as a Clerk of Works. That is praise indeed as he has very high standards. They went above and beyond to provide the Heat pump, Solar panels and Batteries we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble, walking us through the process of installation and supporting us to get used to the new system. Respecting our home and being generally lovely people. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Contacted Ledi for quote and Jimmy was very courteous when he came out and left us with a rough quotation for fitting solar panels. He suggested I emailed an accurate annual kWh unit usage for final quote. This I did - no reply. Following a further email he suggested I'd need to remove roof tiles and fit boarding underneath for panels, though in our initial conversation this was not presented as an issue or necessary. I asked for clarification, but... again no reply. Disappointed, as I like to use local contractors. Just feel like Ledii don't want this job.

Feedback after 2 years of ASHP installation

I had my ASHP & new radiators installed by Ledi Renewable guys Nov 2020. Retrofit. It’s combined Vaillant heating & cooling system. The guys were v competent, no BS & driven by culture of customer focus and full attention to detail Now I can report on after sales support. Had a call out this week. Grant, Technical Director came out within 24hrs. What a joy to deal with these guys. All sorted with minimal hassle I can highly recommend Jimmy & Grant for heat pump installation

When our existing LPG system of combi boiler and antiquated plumbing system needed replaced we considered all the options and called Ledi to see if it was feasible to install a ground source system. Grant and Jimmy visited and advised that yes it was possible, but that we should consider an Air source pump system. Our house is originally 1890 with various extensions, so underfloor heating was not an option. However they designed a system with radiators in every room, albeit the radiators are generally thicker and wider than normal, they are not too intrusive. Our entire plumbing system needed to be replaced. After acceptance of their quotation they started when they said they would, the team were excellent replacing carpets and hoovering every night after work. We asked for additional items ,namely insulation below the old suspended floors which was executed at cost of materials with no profit uplift. The work was completed within the timescale quoted and we received our certification and confirmation of our grant within a few months. If you are considering an installation of an Air Source Pump within 100 miles of Stirling I would immediately contact Ledi Renewables

Having contacted other heating companies I was recommended Ledi Renewables And the service was 1st class from start to finish we had a Air Source heat pump from Vaillant fitted Grant and his team were outstanding work completed on time No mess just fantastic work all round in such difficult times it’s was great to have a friendly company like Ledi I would highly recommend Ledi and can I just say a special word for Grant for all his time and effort David & Val

We originally enquired about ASHP and GSHP systems back during Q1 /2020. At the time we had just moved to 23 years old bungalow with original inefficient LPN gas boiler at the end of its design life. So, it was good time to consider renewable option As chartered engineer I spent 2-3 months searching for information and we eventually decided that, for RETROFIT installation, ASHP was much more sensible options in terms of balance of benefits installation risks and costs. We decided to also renew heating radiators at the same time. Also wanted cooling option which can be installed as an option to ASHP System. Three companies we invited to bid based on our high-level requirements specification. This was followed by technical review and costs and benefits analysis. Ledi Renewables came most favourably on technical, pre-sales professionalism and customer focus and being less sales driven (more realistic/honest in managing our expectations) . They took care in answering all my technical questions to highest standard Although they quote was higher than the other two, we felt that, overall, Ledi Renewables was the best for us. And we were not disappointed. Implementation, standard of workmanship and attention to detail were well above average. The Team took pride in what and how they did. Also, some further suggestions were much appreciated. Although there was a slight delay in final handover but that was entirely out with Ledi Renewables control (this was late radiator delivery from Stelrad manufacturer and technical issue with cooling option, promptly addressed by Vaillant guys). We were kept well informed and happy. Overall, we had new Vaillant ASHP System, with air-conditioning option, new radiators, sophisticated multizone heat control for each room, 2 digital shower mixers and other wee things done at the same time. Overall, we would not hesitate in recommending Ledi Renewables to anyone interested in installing AHSP system (and plumbing services as added value work) .
