Over the last four years I’ve been…
Over the last four years I’ve been investigating Solar and having lots of different companies come round and try and rip me off with ridiculous prices and not giving me exactly what I wanted Deege Solar was recommended to me by my colleagues Uncle who has been nicknamed the Solar guru!! after speaking to David the owner he came across on the phone as very honest extremely knowledgeable and completely agreed with what I felt I wanted on my roof which was quite Simply wherever the Sun is. I want as many solar panels as possible, apparently that was music to his ears. let me put this into perspective all other companies apart from David could only put six solar panels on my roof apparently.!! I now have 18😁 also David’s price was quite a few thousand pounds cheaper than everyone else’s After paying the deposit on the phone on trust only within a few weeks things started happening. I run my own business and have worked closely with electricians and roofers all my life and I know if they’re not at the top of their game this was not the case with David’s tradesmen. They were all at the very top of their game and very trustworthy to the point. I actually left my house for a couple of hours unlocked with three people on my property that I’d only known for a day and I was at peace the work and the product they have done and supplied is quite Simply 2nd to none I would highly recommend this company. Don’t bother with anyone else it’s not worth it.
Disgraceful Deege
Where to start with this absolute disaster? My Deege ordeal began in August 2024. Yes, you read that correctly: 2024. Whilst the right make & capacity inverter was installed, it was the wrong model: charging and discharging the batteries at a slower rate than I'd specified. Furthermore, the system pulls about a kWh of energy from the grid every day, even when I'm not at home and peak usage is only around 400W. This occurs regardless of the load placed upon the system or the fact that there is energy available in the batteries to service the load. Getting Deege Solar to respond is a herculean task. They're happy to pick up the phone when they're waiting for payment, but post installation service is atrocious to non-existent. Their phone lines are never answered and e-mails are blatantly ignored. It was October of 2024 before I could get a-hold of someone. The conversation started well, but things went downhill when we disagreed about the inverter discharge rate, with him ultimately, point-blank, refusing to do anything about it as it would cost him too much money. I was told it would be a further six weeks before a site visit could be arranged to correct the excessive power draw. I agreed that they could attend the week before Christmas. Things then went very quiet, so I e-mailed them in mid-December to remind them of their obligation: I got no reply. When the day of the site visit arrived, despite waiting in all day, no-body arrived, nobody e-mailed and nobody called. By this time, I was not exactly surprised. I logged a complaint with HIES, only to learn that Deege had ceased to be a member since 2023, although their website still claimed membership (as a result of my notifying HIES, it no longer does). I've subsequently logged a complaint with MCS, who have referred my case to NAPIT. At this point, Deege did at least come to the table. In light of my experience, I was offered a “system upgrade”: the 6kW Growatt inverter would be replaced by 2 x 3.6kW inverters operating in parallel. This installation was supposed to take place in April 2025, but after their installation team turned-up without any kit, then the wrong kit was delivered, along with numerous other issues, I was left operating on a single 3.6kW inverter for a further three weeks before installation was finally completed in May 2025. It was around this time that I finally got my handover documentation (inaccurate), MCS certificate & G99 registration, but missed out on 8 months of export revenue. Problems persisted with the new system (some even getting worse) & Deege continued to ignore me. Proceedings were then escalated to MCS who served Deege Solar with MULTIPLE suspensions of their license, yet still I was ignored by Deege Solar. Eventually, in late 2025 I was contacted as it seemed they’d noticed there was “an outstanding customer complaint” (it’s about the only thing that is outstanding about this company): I imagine it’s hard to issue MCS certificates to your new customers if you’ve had your license suspended. I also wonder if this is not the first time they’ve had such license suspensions, given it took them 7 months to issue my own MCS certificate. A further “system upgrade” was then agreed & an installation date set. A week before installation, they called to push the date back three weeks, and then failed to attend the new installation date, without any prior notice whatsoever. Via NAPIT & MCS, I’m now claiming a full refund. If they don’t oblige, they’ll be paying solicitors fees and compensation, too. If you're reading this because you're scouting Deege Solar for potential business, I'd encourage you to go elsewhere. No matter what it is about them that is tempting you, re-read my experience and ask yourself if you want to go through the same thing: is it really worth it?
System was installed just over a year ago. Generated 8MW over the year from an East/West roof. No problems with operation but had a question re the generation meter and after sales service was good.

My story is a very long one which started with another company. But in December 2025 I contacted Deege to help with my Sungrow battery storage system. The fitters turned up beginning of January and replaced the Inverter as I was told by previous company that it was faulty. It turned out it was sabotaged, as company went broke. After Deege fitters left, hoping that all was working, I woke the next morning to find that the batteries had not charged overnight even I was on Octopus Intelligent Go. I am now on Octopus Go as my car (Mii) and wall charger are not compatible (sungrow EV charger box). Spent 4 weeks trying to help get the battery storage up and running. Nothing back from Deege.
Dave from deege solar has been enormously helpful in my quest to upgrade my solar battery and panels . His knowledge is second to none . And his prices quotes are the best highly recommend

Dave from deege solar has been enormously helpful in my quest to upgrade my solar panels and battery storage. His knowledge is second to none, and his prices are the most competitive out there . I would highly recommend Thanks
Deege Solar did an excellent job with our solar installation. The team was professional, efficient, and completed the work to a high standard. A special mention to Chloe, whose communication skills were outstanding throughout the entire process. She kept us well informed, responded quickly to any questions, and made everything easy to understand. Overall, a smooth and positive experience—highly recommend Deege Solar.

We decided to have pv panels on our roof, having had panels in our previous property. Alas, the old FITariffs no longer apply so it isn’t as profitable as it used to be. Degee turned up to install panels on the roof, inverter and battery in September 2022. All done and dusted within a day and a half. I was a bit apprehensive about using Chinese built equipment as my dealings with Chinese manufacturers in the past have been problematical to say the least. However, writing four years later, I have to say that there have been no glitches or problems with any aspect of the installation Degee was responsible for. The system has worked faultlessly for more than 3 years and I have asked Degee Solar to install another battery to enhance our independance from the usual power suppliers. If the new installation is as good as the last one, I shall be delighted.
This is the second install from Deege
This is the second install from Deege, the system was well designed and consisted of 15 solar panels with Tesla powerwall 3, tesla gateway and tesla powerwall 3 expanson unit. All paperwork given in a handover pack together with the necessary certifications. The work was done by the deege team themselves and the cables were neat. Very happy with the install
Deege Solar is recommended
Deege Solar is recommended, Excellent service with very knowledgeable. The panels were put up very quickly and whole system was in place within a few hours. meanwhil qucik response if any issue happen. Overall I was very happy with the work and would recommend this company.
Used Deege Solar to install my system and could not recommend enough! The whole process was easy and explained thoroughly so I was confident I knew what I was getting. The guys were polite and professional and the work was completed efficiently to a fantastic standard. The price was extremely reasonable compared to other quotes. Also Chloe who handled my paperwork got it to me in order and efficiently! 10/10 all round, would use them again without hesitation.
I'm 3 months in from a 16 Kv battery installation with hybrid inverter to PV panels also provided by Deege Solar back in April to the builder of my new house. The Electrician on the Job, Jamie was thorough, helpful, informed and definitely went the extra mile on numerous occasions to make this job come to completion. Everything is working well on my new Tariff with Octopus, where the low nighttime rate charging is coming into its own in the now colder months. well done everyone David
Be very wary...
I don't usually write a review but I can't believe how negligent this company is. The system was fitted in 2022 and still they haven't completed the paperwork so we can't get any export tarriff for the solar panels. We have repeatedly chased them but they just keep kicking it down the road or don't bother to respond at all. Be very wary!

Highly recommended for your Solar Project
There are a lot of suppliers in the market. We approached a number, including a big national utility. But Deege were head and shoulders above the others in technical knowledge - meeting customer needs with no hard sell - and delivering with a passion for quality. Very professional scoping of the system with the flexibility of using optimum equipment / technology to meet our specific requirements and budget. The full system included: - 33 Solar Panels and optimisers - Gateway -30kw Battery - EV charger - Bird protection Careful installation across two roof areas [with great attention to avoiding damage to roof tiles]. Very thoughtful installation of battery cable runs, gateway and integration into legacy household electrical system. The team dealt with challenges well and showed a real commitment to delivering a quality, neat and tidy system. They were responsive and reliable. Personal thank you to Dave for a great design and Jamie and Richie for a quality installation. Highly recommended for your solar project.
Excellent service. Very friendly and professional staff, did a really tidy job. Very few companies allow you to specify the equipment you want (specifically large inverter and Fogstar batteries) and at sensible price. I am recommending Deege to everyone I know.
I hired Deege Ltd specifically the Director of the company David Norman to install a solar system and refurbish my roof under a settlement agreement, following a prior two year delay where Deege limited failed to install a solar system despite a deposit being paid. What followed was a nightmare of delays, dangerous work, broken promises, and what appears to be a poor attempt to escape legal responsibility. Major Issues Unsafe Electrical Work Live: wiring was left exposed in the attic, posing a fire and electrocution risk. Earthing cables were left unterminated. Even after being warned by authorities, David Norman ignored professional safety advice from the IET. Job Incomplete & Severely Overdue: The project is now 200+ days past the agreed deadline, Originally due to be completed on 24July 2024, with incomplete roofing, missing solar equipment batteries, panels, conduit, incomplete wiring, and no certification or valid sign-off. Criminal Red Flags Negligence: Unsafe scaffolding led to a serious injury in my family. Trespassing: David Norman accessed and performed unauthorized, unapproved work on a neighbor's property after damaging my neighbors property. Falsified or missing documentation: Required insurance, certification, and guarantees were never provided, or falsified. Lied about subcontracting a roofing company to carry out, Roof work they weren't accredited to carry out, including providing false paperwork. Repeated failure to act on formal notices and safety violations. Attempt to Evade Responsibility: There is evidence that the director David Norman may be attempting to offload Deege Ltd to a company called Upvolt Ltd — potentially in an effort to dodge liability for the unresolved issues, damages, and breaches of contract. Customers should be extremely cautious. Broken Promises & Poor Workmanship: Roof work was subcontracted to unqualified workers, resulting in structural defects, water ingress, and visible damage. Many repairs were promised, but never delivered. The director David Norman also demanded payments outside the agreed schedule and failed to pay penalties outlined in our legal agreement. This has caused deep financial harm, emotional stress, and has left my family living in an unsafe, incomplete home. Deege Ltd's in particular its director David Norman behavior has been dangerous, deceptive, and potentially criminal. I’m sharing this to protect others from enduring the same treatment. I am currently pursing multiple lawsuits against David Norman & Deege Ltd etc. please do not trust this person as he is a deceptive and fraudulent operator in the industry. I've had a front row seat to observe his business practice and it’s disgraceful. At one point we had angry thugs turn up, seeking David Norman while he was present at our property. Due to his presumably unscrupulous business dealings. Avoid Deege Ltd and any successor company like Upvolt Ltd at all costs. Update: please note that the Accreditations shown on their website i.e. Mcs, Napit, Recc etc. Do not provide consumer protection or maintain standards despite their marketing I have direct firsthand experience. Despite the proven violations and criminal behavior mentioned in this review, this company is still certified under these schemes to conduct business. I implore those reading this to pause and take the time to examine this company, their history and the accreditation bodies they belong to before, making the same mistake I did. This company is facing multiple lawsuits and an ongoing criminal investigation. Be cognisant of the risk of being left out of pocket when dealing with this company or any associated companies such as upvolt etc. Also please note the photos do not encompass the totality of the damage to the property but simply serve to demonstrate a point to unsuspecting customers.
Do not use this company. A year after they installed two projects I still am unable to use one of them properly. Both roofs leak. My car charger has been incorrectly set up after a year also. Having to go the legal route now and use someone else who is competent. Extremely disappointing.
Great guys — everything was done super quickly and without any problems at all. Their price was simply unbeatable compared to other companies! I’m really satisfied, and their after-sales service is also excellent. I highly recommend this company!
Lets start with the positives, The quoting stage was good, but my photos i sent seem to have got lost. The system itself from GivEnergy works well. The negatives. Deegee seem to be having staffing issues, they seem very disorganised, paper work is not being filled in good time, and outside of the limits of accreditation scheme they are signed upto. I was told their MCS membership was suspended for the month of august. The standard of work is fair, but far from outstanding. Communication is very poor Its a shame, I think as a company the Director does want to succeed, they just need to resolve their current issues.
Excellent allround…
Excellent pre-installation assessment and scoping of work. Good scheduling; PV & battery system deliveries and fit all done smoothly and to a very good quality, despite rather fragile roof tiles. Everything worked well 'straight out the box' and our energy costs are now negative; I estimate payback in 7 years or less, as we are now net energy producers, especially into the 'teatime' gap. And no gas standing-charge.Thank you for making the long trip, Deege 👍
I have use this company for my soler system having installed it by them was a very challenging as every day I have to chasing them up for work. They hired contractors specifically the roofer he has never finished a clean job and all the wire are scattered around my roof top. Today 07/09/2025 updating status of my review towards this company unchanged.. Reason as all people you can see that Deege solar has confirms as notfullfilling thier duties of on installation of my solar power system and will come back. Unfortunately I have not heard from them deapite my emails to them... Thanks to every one who is been sharing and supporting this fraustration time i had with this company. Always dont rush to review a company wait for few months then reality will appear and customer like myself will be not trapped as these small company hirring contrcator to do jobs which they are not suit able of and leave mess. I have contacted the company but thier phone number was keep engaged as if they have blocked my number. Eventually I have sent them email but fail to get hold them. Not recommend regarding this review. I always leave reviews once the company has finished installation and aftersale service. I suggest you all there do not rush and give your valuable reviews after few months using them. As this japidies some one else in future. The message below is edited as company is trying to help but you guys all dont get fool. Edited on 05 August 2025 11.13 has been over a year when your director David send message stateting will he then he kept given me time after chassing every fourth night now i have given up and dont trust this company or David the director of this company
It has been a good 4 years since the install and it is still running strong. I have recently moved and used Deege Solar once again to get my dream system installed. I can't say how pleased I am with David and his team at Deege. I have added some new photos of my new system but I will keep the photo of the trusty growatt system here.
Great installation
Very helpful and friendly team. There were a few delays on the start date but once the work was underway it was completed efficiently and tidily. Can't recommend a solar installion enough, one year on i still love watching my panels power the house. Recommending Deege to my friends and if you go ahead get the biggest batteries you can.
Fantastic service ...nothing was too much trouble
Excellent service with very knowledgeable guys. The panels were put up very quickly and whole system was in place within a few hours. A few difficulties were encountered but they were really quickly resolved. The whole company from sales (thank you Pete Ward) to roofers (thank you Richie and your team) to the electrician (thank you Ryan) to customer services (thank you Scott) have been fantastic ... Have already recommended you
Look no further for you Solsr Installers!
Deege Solar was recommended to us by a neighbour - and were not disappointed. Thus small company’s ethos is professionalism, knowledge and enthusiasm - and the customer benefits from all three. David heads up the team and is ably supported by technicians and support staff. Their success is growing but there is no dilution in their standards - you may just have to wait your turn in the diary. It will be worth the wait. From our limited experience and that of our neighbour, the follow up support is similarly outstanding. Well done.
Exceptional Service and Expertise from Deege Solar – Highly Recommended
From the initial consultation to the final installation, my experience with Deege Solar has been nothing short of outstanding. Pete provided a comprehensive overview of the available systems, offering a competitive quote that made sense for my needs. I opted for the Sigenstor system over the Tesla Powerwall 3, and Pete's technical knowledge and patience in addressing all my questions were invaluable. Nick handled the battery installation with remarkable attention to detail, ensuring a pristine setup. Despite delays due to M25 traffic, Nick and the team went above and beyond to deliver the equipment promptly. Nick's professionalism and engaging discussions about the technical aspects made the process enjoyable. Kate was instrumental in coordinating schedules, deliveries, and payments. Her precision and proactive communication kept everything on track. I also had the pleasure of speaking with David Norman, the Managing Director, whose approachability was commendable. Scott provided consistent updates on the system's progress and offered remote assistance to implement specific requests, showcasing the team's dedication to customer satisfaction. The solar panel installation was seamless. The installers exceeded expectations, delivering a visually appealing AIKO ABC system that performs exceptionally well. Since the installation of the first set of 15 Aiko Neostar 2S panels, I've been off-grid, and with both sides of the roof now equipped with 30 panels totaling a 13.8kWh peak output, the system's performance is phenomenal. I wholeheartedly recommend Deege Solar to anyone considering solar energy solutions. Their expertise, professionalism, and commitment to excellence are truly exceptional.

After a significant period with no response from Deege, the company submitted multiple requests for its removal, including claims that the review was related to a different company not Deege Solar and was defamatory. These were independently reviewed by Trustpilot and rejected. The company’s public reply followed these moderation outcomes. The statements in this review reflect my direct experience and a factual timeline of events: the project was not completed or commissioned; any payment dispute arose after significant delay and incompletion; contractual penalties accrued and remain unpaid; property damage arising during the works remains unresolved and safety issues remain unresolved. Documentation was submitted which purported to certify works/completion, but did not reflect the actual status of the work done, and the parties carrying out certain works were not those originally represented. Prospective customers are encouraged to carry out their own due diligence.
Large Domestic Solar/Battery Installation
I was recommended Deege Solar by a friend who had a battery/solar installation locally. I got three quotes including one from a major energy company but I chose Deege Solar for the following reasons. Firstly they were very flexible to accommodate my requirements. For example, I wanted an installation where the battery stack and inverter were in the garage. Their quote included the work to run underground cabling from house to garage whereas the other providers did not offer this. Secondly David took the time to answer my numerous questions up front and gave confidence in their capabilities. A detailed quote was provided which included ROI calculations. We then agreed an installation date. The scaffolding arrived as planned, and the work was completed 1 day after the planned finish as there was an issue post switch on which the main installer Nick investigated overnight and was fixed the next morning. Scaffolding was removed the week after installation. The quality of the installation work was very good. The cable runs for the panels, battery stack and inverter were very neat as were the roof panel fitting. Nick answered all my questions throughout the installation process and took me through the app installation setup, explained the system and tested the UPS capability and I have been very happy with the system performance since the installation. Overall I was very happy with the work and would recommend this company.
A Bespoke Solar System
The solar system that Deege Solar designed and installed to my specifications was completed today and I am super happy with it! It is a bespoke installation as I wanted certain features and some specific equipment. Deege Solar made it a reality at a price I could afford! Thank you so much to David and his team and I'm more than happy to recommend Deege if you're looking for a solar installation.
9 Months of Hell
Prolonged incompetence and agony from start to finish. Don't believe the MCS certifications etc or any guarantees. They have no intention of complying.
Great system installed and supported me…
Great system installed and supported me all the way! Install team went above and beyond! Would highly recommend!
Good Service
Todays experience was excellent. Got through to Dave to see if I could charge my batteries overnight from the grid. It appeared that I could and he took me through each step to configure this. Brilliant. My only wish was this had been explained and configured when system installed.
Knowledgeable sales team, receptive to own research and keen on explaining both jargon and why some decisions are better than others. No pressure-sale tactics, genuinely recommended what was needed and the best way to achieve it. Installation had some scheduling niggles outside their control, but well managed by the team. Panels went up very quickly, and wiring decisions were well thought out. A few technical tweaks after installation were resolved in the next days, with the team receptive to feedback. Proposed equipment is of top quality (Hyundai Panels, Growatt Inverter and batteries), and Deege’s premier relationship with Growatt is reassuring. As equipment warranties are long-term, it’s also reassuring that Deege is a big enough company to be around for the long term, but not big enough to have lost that drive for really good customer outcomes. Sometimes the team can be hard to reach via phone, which is a tad frustrating - perhaps a slightly better telephone system could help. Nonetheless, apart from the niggles above, it was a complex project made to look simple by the team, and the 5 star rating is fully deserved. We’re looking forward to many years of savings and maybe helping this blue dot just a little bit. We would unreservedly recommend Deege for your solar project.
Honestly, I have never known such bad customer service. This company has clearly struggled with the epic demand for Solar given the ongoing energy crisis, but that is no excuse for taking on customers and consistently letting them down. Sincere advice is to avoid at all costs! Initial quotation and contract experience by Rod was fantastic, excellent communicator and advisor. Sadly that is where the positives end for this company. Contract agreed and signed in June 2022 then came the delays/excuses/out right ignored. Installation delayed multiple times, often Deege didn’t even bother to tell me. I would call them on the day of agreed install (as no one would arrive) to be told “yeah sorry, the installers aren’t coming”. The admin team are beyond useless, seriously you need to hire some competent staff. When the install did take place, what an utter joke of a service!! Arguably dangerous wiring, cables taped to downpipes!? Holes left in walls and messy cable runs. 3 months on of remedial work, and further no-shows of engineers/installers the system is finally in and working. Even after all the dramas do you think there is even an acknowledgment of bad customer service? No. A further 2 months chasing MCS certification etc. Honestly, if you choose this company you will spend hours chasing them with phone calls and emails to which they won’t reply unless of course asking for payment…you will sacrifice multiple days off work waiting for installers that never arrive. Be warned. Don’t fall for the glossy website and social media posts/reviews like I and so many others have… ***Update to counter the inferred false review below. I complained to Deege on practicality every occasion I spoke to them. After all, it was myself having to always chase for updates… Out of curiosity I checked to see if my review had been published and to my complete surprise a reply from Deege already! The fastest they have ever replied to me! Some photos now attached of the work initially carried out. Admittedly this shoddy workmanship was corrected eventually, I say eventually as it took several phone calls/emails/no show appointments for this remedial work as mentioned above.
We have had panels (including SolarEdge optimisers), batteries and an EPS system installed (5 circuits on an additional consumer unit which was not straightforward to implement). The system install started on the date promised and is fully operational, giving us benefits. We can also continue to run our home for up to two days, including the gas heating system, should we experience a power cut. We live in the north of England and the install took longer than anticipated. Some of the problems were of Deege’s own making and some weren’t. However they stuck with it until the job was finished – even though this meant an additional trip north after a weekend. We had four different people on site at various times and all seemed competent at what they were doing. They cleared up well after the job and the install looks immaculate. I was a little concerned about what to expect having read some of the reviews on Trustpilot. This led me to get involved and review what was happening during the installation and chase beforehand to ensure expectations were managed. I also kept a close eye on the routing of cables to ensure ascetics, where appropriate, were as we wanted them. If I had not done this there would have been some avoidable rework. Dave (managing director) was excellent and did what he could to solve any problems incurred during the installation and to get the job finished asap. I can understand why some dates slip as unforeseen difficulties on one job can have a knock-on effect to another although I suspect the vast majority of jobs run smoothly. I also learned a few things through the process of how Deege work. I thought they would order parts well ahead of the job and hold them in stock (after all they had my deposit). It seems that they buy the parts from wholesalers as they need them and this can lead to problems. I think if this had been explained and there was some communication in the days and weeks leading up to the installation I would have been less nervous. Other aspects of the company, given Deege’s size, have impressed me and I would happily recommend them. A relative of mine had their installation done a week later and was very impressed. Although his job was late it was completed in two days and is working well. Overall the product seems excellent. The people who came were very professional and knew what they were doing and were all pleasant to deal with. As with many small growing businesses problems can occur and Deege stuck with the problems we incurred, solved them, and delivered well. I’m pleased we went with Deege. We are yet to receive our ‘certificates’ and other paperwork. I will update this review if there is a problem here.
Excellent service and customer support from Deege Solar. Although I have been thinking about getting solar panels for a while, I have been hesitant about it due to lack of knowledge. I would start by recommending their blog which is an excellent resource. I contacted a few companies and received back generic quotes, but as I'm no expert I needed guidance as much as a quote. Deege were the only people to do a proper mock up of m y house using Google Maps, working out (roughly) how many panels I could get on the roof. From that mock up and quote, we agreed to proceed, but with them adding an additional 4 panels to the lower roof. We initially started looking in the autumn, hoping to get the panels installed by spring, but Deege were able to fit them very quickly. On installation day, the guys turned up early, fitted the electronics and when the scaffolding was ready, they were able to fit the solar panels. By careful placement, we found that an additional panel was able to be added which they incorporated into the design. While the scaffolding was there and someone is on the roof, we might as well maximise the number of panels. All bird proofing was added, and the guys did a really neat job. Our first week after installation in November, we have had 3 days where the battery has filled to 100% (in November in England!). I'm even running the washing machine and dishwasher during that time. I am shocked with how much energy I am currently getting. I suspect by the spring we will be getting another battery (the guys left a gap for one), or possibly 2. I would highly recommend getting solar panels, and I would definitely recommend getting Deege to fit them. Excellent service. Thanks!
Deege Ltd What a great business to be a customer for. From concept through to delivery it was an absolute joy working to define, refine and agree the system specification and ultimately the delivery & installation. This is a lengthy review as it is absolutely deserved. Design: I had Tim Desanvil who was absolutely brilliant to work with. Being quite a technical guy myself I had lots of questions around the specification and integration of the system which Tim was happy to answer. If he couldn’t answer he would be honest and make it his mission to get an answer from within the business. We went through a number of iterations to get the specification right for our property. Tim’s tenacity, drive & professionalism to get it over the line and acceptance of my questions and requirements was exceptional. Tim is an absolute credit to the business. For pre-works, site setup and back office: All the supply chain and logistics were effectivity coordinated and setup, being kept in the loop at nearly every stage. It made it a breeze to get all the pre-lims on site and ready for the install. The back office was incredibly effective and great communication at every stage, whilst being flexible in schedule and requirements. Delivery/Installation: The team arrived on site early and got cracking straight away. Walking the job and talking through various aspects of the requirements and systems set-up. Shortly followed by arrival of all the material & roofing team. Electrical: I had Bradley and Baylon. We started by walking the job and requirements. They were accepting of all my on-site requirements and happy to advise better more effective installation solutions. Again, me being a technical person, I had allot of questions which they were more than happy to answer and where they couldn’t would seek advice from the office. Brad and Baylon were fantastic, professional, knowledgeable and made a really high quality job whilst being accepting of my specific site requirements for the installation. Post installation they took me through the system architecture to explain all the various elements, including what and how they had completed the install which was very important to me. Roofing: I had Antony and Harry who were superb! The roofing job encountered a number of challenges predominantly due to the 4 aspect roof which included 2 old roofs whch the guys took in their stride and completed a really great piece of work. They were efficient and kept me updated all the way including explaining how the mounting system worked on the roofs. On completion ultimately the entire install team did a fantastic job and refused to leave until I was happy, even holding me back on things to get them sorted. After each element of the installation the team insisted I walked the job with them to snag and confirm acceptance. There were a couple of minor snags that we jointly pick up on (and I’m being very picky here). These snags were rectified there-an-then before we even moved on. All taken within their stride and incredibly professionally. Overall a fantastic experience, incredibly professional, knowledgeable and effective team and if I needed another solar array (I don’t sorry) that’s where I’d be putting my money. Being an Operations Manager for a construction company it is great to see such high standards and the pride they took in their work and focus on the customer. Whilst I cant speak for the effectiveness of everyone’s system: on day 1 (only measured from 0900) a total of 26.7kWh generated from a 7.6kW Optimised system….. need I say anymore. Top rate company. Excellent staff and installation team. I would and have recommended them already. From first enquiry, through design, quote, acceptance and installation, they have been spot on. Great value for money and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a solar installation.
Deege Solar pride in customer satisfaction. They installed the gear just as advised by the manufacturer. I am extremely pleased with Growatt's customer service they are exceptional. The installers/electrician from Deege Solar worked with extreme caution, face mask and social distancing measures where possible. Thanks to the office team especially Dave the MD for meeting my expectations. I'm a happy customer.
