Excellent job

Ricki did a great job at resolving some issues and installing some lights. Quick, skillful and good to talk to. He also provided me with some advice. It was easy to arrange through Robert. Couldn't ask for anything more from a local electrician.

Excellent service from start to finish. Clear information on how the install process was going to happen. Great service on the day from the electrician Elliott. Left the area tidier than it was when he got there! Would recommend 1000%

We had a full rewire of a bungalow were renovating, Thorpes staff are friendly, knowledge and easy to work with even though we don't currently live at the property and live over 100 mile away. They did everything we asked, rectified a couple of issues / misunderstandings very quickly. The only one thing I would say is response time could be quicker but as we live so far away it made it a little more difficult. Having said that I would definitely use again and recommend.

Very happy with the installation of an EV home charger. The whole process was very straightforward, I got a lot of advice based on my situation and it works perfectly. 100% recommended.

Such a lovely workforce

Such a lovely workforce! Polite, trustworthy and great at communicating. I felt confident they'd rectify an issue I was left with from other tradesman, and they did. My house was also fully respected too! Quite often tradies take no care in my property, but no issues at all here. Would absolutely use again, and we are really grateful for the company's experience and expertise.

Good easy company to interact with, nice friendly people from start to finish, quick response times, installation of the EV Charger was a breeze, the Ev charger itself is simple to use, overall really happy from start to finish. I would really recommend this company to family and friends without hesitation.

Fantastic experience with Rob and Matt, and all the lads at Thorpe Energy & Compliance that have helped me in my EV charger journey. Always helpful, proactive and knowledgable - couldn’t have asked for a better level of service! Would recommend to absolutely anyone, and wouldn’t look anywhere else for my EV or solar needs!

Very Poor Experience

Thorpe were sub-contracted to complete the installation of solar panel solution by the solar panel provider. Whilst the electricians were polite the quality of work was less than acceptable. The electrician drilled a hole from the meter box (outside the house) and into the kitchen-diner, which was at quite an acute angle. Whilst they took steps to fill the hole in the damage was not reported to me at the time. The conclusion being that the filling in of the hole appears to have been solely to minimise the chances of the damage being noticed. Having noticed the damage, further inspection of the area worked on identified an additional hole which was left open with a rawlplug in it. There being nothing to use the hole it was clearly a mistake and again the electrician failed to report this, perhaps believing that because it was not in plain sight it would not be discovered. Thorpe was contacted to make the damage good, but simply claimed that they believed 'making good' had already been done. It clearly wasn't; the filler had not been painted over and the hole was left bare. As our contract was with the solar supplier they ended up having to make good the damage several months later, because clearly Thorpe were not interested in doing so. When the electrician was present they were asked to provide a 'work completed' note. They informed me they could not do so because they didn't have a work email address, but that Matt would provide the requested note. No such note was provided and when chased for his email address by text message Matt ignored the message. Conclusion: if you contract Thorpe you can't trust them to do a quality job and you can't trust them to make good any damage. The delay in providing this review relates to how long it has taken to complete the solar installation.
