Staring with no understanding of solar energy, New Dawn Solar advised me, guided me through and oversaw the hole operation. The home appointment was a pleasure and I received the help I needed to choose the right system that best suited my needs. Two scenarios where suggested. No sale pressure to have the most expensive the biggest or the most complex , just clear options with plenty of supporting graphics to help explanations. The communication with paperwork to sign for all the various application was simple and timely. At all times it was so easy to call Daniel or the office for any clarity required. To be honest that was hardly needed. From the first quotation visit, the final site survey to the scaffolders and finally the system installers and panel erectors all the teams represented New Dawn Solar excellently well. Respectful, nice to talk with and kept me informed throughput their visits. Overall and throughout the whole process the New Dawn Solar management, staff and support teams where friendly, cooperative and available at a moment’s notice – not hiding behind layers of automated phone systems. I had the opportunity to get quotes from several local and national companies supplying and fitting solar panels, Batteries and car chargers. In the end we opted for New Dawn Solar due to the personal touch and regular communications between Daniel, Mel and the team. The first visit was great with no upselling at all and time taken to explain the process and what our needs maybe for now and the future. The follow up pack with breakdown of costs was easy to read and understand including the payment structure and payback calculations. The second site visit was more detailed with roof surveys in person and via drones. days later the scaffolding was erected and the next day two engineers fitted 14 solar panels, A sigenergy Battery and a Car charger all in one day with meticulous care. I can't fault New Dawn and the team for anything great customer service and I truly highly recommend the team if you're looking to get solar panels or batteries fitted.

We sought 3 quotations for solar panels. New dawn were the only company where someone was willing to visit our hosue and discuss the installation. The work was carried out with a short lead time and the installers were tidy, courteous and knowledgable. New Dawn remained contactable and helpful after installation, particularly where we experienced a problem with the hardware/app from Foxess who are remote and difficult to contact from an end user point of view. Would definately recommend New Dawn. The system is excellent.

Everything explained and professionally, neat and tidy installation with decent solar panels, inverter and battery. On time and stayed until dark, price was good and similar to others with inferior products. System working well supplying free electricity most days and exporting earning money. Very happy.

Best decision we’ve made to help reduce my monthly outgoings. New Dawn were brilliant in my opinion. I was sceptical to begin with about the solar stuff but after nearly a year I will say it’s been a very worthwhile venture, my wife even likes them. New dawn solar installed a good sized system on my land, I just wish I have gone for more battery storage (not new dawns fault, mine for being tight). Actually I wish I’d gone for a larger system entirely. During the winter months I can buy cheaper night time electric and use it during the day, keeping cost down. And since march we have been able to bank excess electric we sell back to the grid which in turn is going to make a massive difference to winter fuel costs. This is due to the octopus energy flux tariff. As you can probably tell I would recommend new dawn solar.

It's been 3 months since the installation took place and i wanted to wait to see if there were any post installation issues before writing a review. Daniel and the team were fantastic throughout the process. 1. Daniel firstly provided a quote using an online tool to give me a ball park figure and also provided information related to generation expectations, payback and annual savings. 2. The next steps was to do a home survey and get up on the roof (our roof is accessible due to a flat roof extension) and measure up the roof to ensure the online tool was correct. In my case we could fit bigger panels which was handy. We also decided to put some on the flat roof giving us 3 x roof sections covered in panels. We also talked through battery options and locations of inverter and battery etc... 3. Next step was to formalise the quote and move to the next stage (essentially updating step one with the correct numbers). 4. I paid the deposit (20 or 25% from memory). I was allowed to do this on a credit card which also then gave me additional protection should there have been any issues down the road which was reassuring. 5. Next step was to arrange an install date, now the installation was not carried out by New Dawn Solar, instead it was carried out by a third party, but i was able to research the company to ensure i was happy with them. 6. Day of installation arrives (no scaffolding for me) and it was done efficiently and the team were polite and efficient. It was completed within the day and to a high standard. 7. Once the install takes place i pay the balance and a couple of weeks later receive my handover pack which i can then use to request an export tariff from my energy provider. 8. I reached out to Dan with a query related to a heat pump install that took place after the solar install and whilst i managed to resolve the issue myself, Dan was very prompt in responding and offered to arrange a video call to better understand the issue. Whilst this wasn't needed it was good to know the after sales support is there.

I've left my review till after I had my Sola system working for 5-6 weeks of use. Firstly I had 2 quotes from Octopus Energy recommended Sola Company's. I chose New Dawn Sola from the 2 firstly as Danial's Survey was very thorough and at no time did I get the hard sale treatment secondly I felt very comfortable and confident in him. I had done my homework on sola energy so I had a good understanding of what we were looking for. The price was very competitive which I was more than happy with. I went for 22 large Sola panels and 4 batteries. The installation and engineers where first class from start to finish. All the certification was all taken care of by New Dawn Sola. I have had 2-3 calls since installation checking every thing is as it should be. Just had my first full months bill from British gas and my electricity usage has drooped by 52%. I can not recommend Daniel and all the staff enough, will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

I can’t believe my luck in finding Daniel Rosser of New Dawn Solar who arranged a 16-panel solar installation to our property. Daniel took a very personal and thorough involvement, taking all my wishes into consideration. The workmen he employed to carry out this installation and his office staff are first class and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. I am delighted with my New Dawn Solar installation and it has been preforming extremely well. I would highly recommend this company.

We wanted to give the solar panels a few months of use before leaving a review—and they’ve exceeded our expectations. The whole process was efficient from start to finish. Scaffolders, roofers, installers, and the electrician were all supplied, and the entire project was completed in just 3 days. The quality of the products used was far superior to those offered by other companies we received quotes from. We also really appreciated Daniel’s friendly and professional approach throughout. We’re absolutely over the moon with how the system looks and performs—and we’ve become totally obsessed with checking our output! It’s so satisfying seeing what the panels are generating each day. Would 100% recommend.

Daniel and team were absolutely great. First class service and installation. They also were the lowest out of three quotes and moreover Daniel's system design offered the most energy and coat savings. Sitting here on a grey winter day I'm yet reap the full benefits of the solar pans however I’m very happy to know that all of my house's energy requirements are now bought overnight at a third of the cost and stored in the batteries for day ahead! I was extremely happy with the service provided by Daniel, Mel, and the rest of his team. When you first make contact, it is clear that you are dealing with professionals who have great experience and knowledge. I received excellent advice quickly followed by a great quote. At no point in time was I put under any pressure to make a decision. There were frequent updates by his highly efficient team culminating in a superb installation by two of the tidiest and polite installers I have met. Well done.

Daniel and team were great throughout. I originally contacted them in October when we started the processing of buying our new house and he provided a remote BoM & Quote for the new property. By the time we finally moved in January I contacted him again to get the process started. He very quickly provided a new BoM & Quote that was better equipment and cheaper due to changes in the supply chain. Later he came and did a survey, was very detailed in his walk through and explanation and advised we could fit more panels due to the size of the roof. The documentation as part of the quote was very detailed and just what was needed to show proper payback. In fact it was a little on the pessimistic side after I reran the numbers myself after having the panels in for a few months. The install was fast and efficient, in and out in 1 day and from then I've not had a single complaint. Post install Daniel & team have contacted me to make sure we're still happy and we are. To a point that I've recommended them to neighbours in the street as being both great value for money and having great customer service. All of this comes from someone who deeply understands Low Carbon Tech as I work for a software company that builds the technology to enable better decarbonisation of the grid

Economical, flexible and helpful Our local council was offering a solar PV installation group buying scheme and, as part of my due diligence, I did some counter research and came across New Dawn Solar Systems and I'm very glad I did. Not only were they very slightly cheaper than the council offering, their kit was a much better spec and higher capacity. Daniel was, by far, the most helpful and knowledgeable sales advisor I spoke to who responded quickly and thoroughly to all my queries. Once I'd signed up, a site visit quickly followed and Daniel generated their draft technical proposal on the day. We only had to wait a couple of weeks for the installation. Once on site the panel installer was able to access and accurately measure our roof dimensions and realised that it could not accommodate the original configuration, but New Dawn Solar were flexible and, with minimal extra costs, managed to fit the required number of panels but across two roof spaces. New dawn solar have been really comprehensive with the paperwork. I checked the details with two independent professionals in green technology and they both approved the quote and installation specifications. The quote was competitive. When we had a minor issue when the scaffolding company damaged patio tile they were brilliant at getting it sorted out for us too. Always available, helpful and keen to do a great job. I have been recommending them to many people since. It's now been a year since the system was installed and it's outperformed our expectations. We're delighted with it
