I have booked 30 min consultation twice…

I have booked 30 min consultation twice now and both times they have been cancelled a short time before the appointment. One because the person was now travelling, the others because of no childcare. Why have the calendars open with dates if you can’t attend? If you can’t get to the first appointment what is the likelihood of installation on time? Update I had a call from the director who appologised. He then went out of his way to help and provide great impartial advice even though we are probably too far away for his company. Sometimes things go wrong but it’s how they get put right that counts!!

Sets the lead for others to follow

I am so glad that I found dwellow, and happily join the chorus of five star reviews. From an exploratory, non-binding, discussion with Ian that was pitched to exactly the level he judged right from my enquiry, to the fully functioning Vaillant aroTHERM Plus 12kW air source heat pump and associated system that he designed, I have been delighted. Ian exudes quiet confidence in his skills and experience and resolutely keeps his promises. Vitally, so does his cheerful and efficient team keep theirs. If they say they are going to arrive at 8:30am despite a two and a half hour drive first, you'd better be ready (I was) because that's when they will turn up. Every day for the week required and a few more days to handle some unexpected snags. Never once did I worry or waste my time. The quality of installation is top notch, the coefficient of performance bang-on where it was estimated, and equally indicative of proper heat loss calculations and correctly sized radiators (but able to keep microbore piping), the house we have expensively heated with LPG for 20 years now has a warm embrace that's been absent before. No more hot and cold spots. It just feels 'right'. As with any technical installation there will be unexpected challenges but each of these was expertly handled. Ian and team did a great job of keeping me informed, but reassured and worry-free. This is both an art and a skill founded on ownership that was great to feel. In fact, if I was asked to think of one word to describe the experience, that would be it. Ownership. Everyone owns their responsibilities and wants to deliver success. Well done, dwellow. Exceptional service with a personal touch

I had been looking to have a heat pump for my home for some time. I had done a lot of research. I had surveys and quotes from other companies which left me unsatisfied. I came across Dwellow entirely by luck. My experience with Dwellow has been excellent. Starting with a punctual phone call from Ian and a detailed discussion, he initiated a new survey which was very thorough (Apex). My requirements were somewhat complex with new heating for the kitchen and 10mm microbore. Ian came up with individualized solutions, all the while keeping the budget in mind. The cost was vastly lower than others I had received. Once I approved the contract, Dwellow organised the installation quickly and did all the paperwork for permissions. The installation was done by Adam and Dave who were polite, extremely professional and very skilled in their job. They kept the house as clean as possible and kept us informed about progress and next steps right upto handover. A slight hiccup with the electrics was swiftly corrected. Dwellow offer a 2 year workmanship guarantee but Ian continued to respond quickly for support with tech. I really appreciated him talking me through some initial trouble shooting by short whatsapp videos. I highly recommend Ian and his team at Dwellow for anyone thinking of installing a heat pump ( and probably any other central heating)

Excellent experience from start to finish!

We had an excellent experience with Dwellow from start to finish. After making initial contact to enquire about Solar Panels, Ian provided us with a range of array and battery options across our roof and garage. He talked us through the pros and cons, answering all our questions whilst we settled on the products that suited our needs. The installation was very prompt and his team of installers were friendly and efficient, expertly getting the job done to a really high standard. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Dwellow and would certainly use them should we need their services again in the future.

Fantastic support from everyone involved in the heat pump design and installation. I needed a quick install and Ian supported me throughout with a well thought out system design. The installation was friendly, clean and professional, thanks Adam, Dave and Damien! So far the house is far more comfortable than with the previous system and the efficiency is great.

Excellent service and after service

I can not praise Ian and Craig from Dwellow enough. I have a 5 bedroom house (194m2) with three bathrooms. I just bought the property and wanted to replace the oil boiler with a heat pump. I went through their website for a quote to get an idea of the price. I then contacted Dwellow and set up an appointment to speak to Ian. I would like to add that I have been to about 15 other installers; to get quotes and ask what they would and would not cover with the installation. By the time I spoke to Ian I had a very good idea about what I wanted and how I wanted it. By the end of the discussion we had agreed a number of things and I was happy to pay the £200 deposit for a survey. This tells you the size of the heat pump through your 'heat loss' survey. For my house, every installer recommended a 12kw heat pump. I was sure that this was not the case. The survey came out that a 10kw heat pump would suffice. This is what Ian suggested before the survey. I had a choice of an Ideal Logic Air or Vaillant 10Kw heat pump. The Vaillant needed planning permission and was nearly 2m high. I decided on the Ideal. I would like to add most other installers will only offer you one heat pump make as they are tied to that brand. With Dwellow this is not the case. Throughout the process Ian would phone and email within the day; to answer my many questions and changes within the design. I have 10mm microbore piping which was an issue with some installers, but not Ian and his team. I also had a bespoke service as I wanted to change 13 radiators and mostly for designer ones. The heat survey specified 7, but with no V.A.T and having the opportunity, I wanted to embrace the change. The installation was undertaken by 'Reactive' from Corby. Who were brilliant. Craig from Dwellow oversaw the process and the commissioning. Any problem or question; he would answer; he is so professional and friendly. A really wonderful gentleman. The work took 3 days and the commissioning another day. I wanted it installed in the spring/summer so it was not so cold with the heating off. From initial contact to installation was just over a month. Dwellow will take care of everything; installation of heat pump, decommissioning of old boiler (taking away materials) and apply for the £7,500 BUS grant on your behalf. Brilliant! Dwellow with Craig and Ian are an amazing team and make everything specific to you. I have had the heat pump in for over a month and it's quiet and we have so much hot water. It's so easy to control. I highly recommend Dwellow. Ian and Craig make what could be a stressful process a pleasure!

Highly recommend for Heat Pump installations

We had a heat pump installed by the team, and couldn't be happier. The whole experience was great from start to finish. The team spent a lot of time working through the most suitable solution for our property, communication was timely and well detailed. They're a great company if you just want them to work everything out, or (like me) want to understand and optimise the system for your needs. Incredibly professional and excellent service. We had an issue a month after intialltion due to a faulty part. They diagnose and rectified the issue within a couple of days, all covered by the warranty. Would recommend to anyone who is looking at a heat pump installation.

Great Customer Experience

Could not recommend Dwellow more. From the initial contact through to installation the process was fast and smooth. Having been guided through the Government's Grant Scheme for boiler replacement the heat pump was installed within a matter of weeks. The installation team were friendly and efficient. Our home was only 1 year old but the developer chose to cut corners and install a gas fired combi boiler into a 4 bed / 2 bathroom property even though Government are trying to encourage developers not to rely on fossil fuels. Hot water supply through the house was useless. The difference the ASHP and unvented cylinder has made to us is transformational. The energy savings also should not be underestimated. Thoroughly recommended.

A converted barn in the Yorkshire Dales.

We have found the customer service excellent throughout the whole process, from the initial investigation of whether to get a heat pump, through to the installation and fine tuning to make it most efficient. Ian was a great listener and very informative, really trying to find what we wanted, rather than pushing any particular product. We live in a 4 bedroomed converted barn in the Yorkshire Dales, so wanted a pump that was quiet, looked good and could perform in cold winters. We now have a Samsung Quiet 12KW, which we are very happy with. Craig was indefatigable in his efforts to sort out improving our Flow Rate and reconnecting our Solar Thermal to the lovely new water cylinder. The whole team were brilliant and we would highly recommend them.

Great experience - highly recommend.

After getting quotes from several big energy suppliers I found Dwellow through a google search. Was initially a bit sceptical as the quoted price was very competitive, and I fully expected a bunch of extras to be added on. After a call with Ian he confirmed the price was correct and did include radiator changes etc. 3 weeks later and we had the install team in who were brilliant. The install itself was well managed and smooth, and the team coped amazingly with a few surprises thrown up by our 1970s house. We had nearly all our radiators swapped, so it was a lot of work. It took a while for the house to come back up to temperature, after having no heating for 3 days during very cold spell, and we were a little worried - but it got there eventually (about 24 hours). It's now just ticking over, keeping the house at desired temperature - using very little electricity - fingers crossed it continues :) Honestly can't fault the experience. Thanks guys!

Expertly guided through the whole process by the team from initial system design to implementation. Don't be fooled by competitive pricing. These guys were great value and delivered without compromise to the quality of service.

First rate service that saved me a lot of time and money with my Heat Pump

From first contact, my heat pump was operational within six weeks. The installation team were friendly, prompt, professional and tidy. The overall service was tailored precisely to my needs, with products selected to minimise disruption to my property. In contrast, previously-contacted supplier had specified an unnecessarily large cylinder that would have required more works in my loft. They also specified unnecessary radiator upgrades. Much more significantly, they were tied to a heat pump manufacturer that was unable to satisfy the noise requirements of my borough. This caused me 18 months of delay before I contacted Dwellow. Overall Dwellow have provided a great product that is making my house lovely and warm, and have saved me a lot of time and money. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Great company

Wayne and Ian were knowledgeable, patient, professional and were very good about answering the hundreds of questions I had about what energy supply was best for my situation. They enabled me to understand all about Air source heat pumps, solar, storage heaters and more. I never felt pressurised to accept their quotes which were very competitive with other market equivalents. I would highly recommend them to family and friends.
