First time I have used this company and I am extremely impressed. I needed replacement fan heaters and extractor fans in two en suite shower rooms. The company supplied and fitted these. Very quick response to initial enquiry and a very prompt date booking. Everything neatly and cleanly fitted and not a trace of any debris or dirt to clear up after the job was done. As I had to be out, I left spare keys with the contractor. Highly recommend this company and I will certainly be contacting them first when I need any other electrical jobs done. Kevin 👍

Called Andy to have a EV charger supplied and fitted, came round to do his estimate in a timely manner and after me asking for a specific charger. He supplied and fitted within a few days with his lads and could not have been happier. Really friendly bunch of lads, all installed up and running just after lunch. Excellent work.

We had quite complex needs including solar system and bringing outside wiring up to spec with backup power for outside CCTV and security system etc. This was not a straightforward job, and we did hit some snags with it - and Andy and the team saw the job through to the end for the price he'd given. He was reasonable and flexible about costs for some extras we decided we wanted along the way too. Competent and honest. Five stars.

The work consisted of installation of a Sigenergy Gateway, two battery stacks and inverters, additional solar panels and an EV charging point, in addition the consumer unit was upgraded and extended. Throughout everything was organised and structured, scaffolding erected prior to the work starting and removed on completion. The craftsmen were all professional, cheerful and helpful throughout, the site was left cleaner than before they arrived. They explained relevant compliance requirements such as spacing between Gateway and incomming supply and vertical clearance above battery stacks which I was unaware of. In addition I saved money by fitting a smaller inverter on the second stack due to limitations imposed by the area board. My electricity supply from the grid has now dropped to pence per week and the Sigenergy app loaded on to my computer gives complete monitoring. When winter drops my solar output, the system Chapman have installed looks more than capable of supplying any electricity at Night storage rates. My background is electrical, but if you have any queries or concerns, you will find Andy Chapman an ideal expert to advise you as to an optimal solution.

Excellent service. Can't recommend Chapman Electrical too highly. To cut a very long story short, we had to get them in to sort out the mess that a previous installer had left. Andy had to be very patient as we had to keep him hanging around for about 2 years pending the outcome of a court case, but he put up with that and when we were able to go ahead the work was done promptly, efficiently and with no fuss. All the necessary paperwork was delivered prompty too. Highly recommended.

Andy and the team were fantastic. Always quick to reply to any questions we had, and completed the project quickly and efficiently. The quality of the workmanship looks great and they spent time during and afterwords to make sure we knew how the system all operates. Would recommend again!

I needed an electrical safety certificate for a house sale. The inspection highlighted some issues which needed to be addressed. Andy was quick to provide a quotation which was reasonable and was then able to carry out the work promptly which we needed as the sale was near completion. Andy and his team carried out the work to a high standard, were punctual and polite. Would not hesitate to recommend or employ again in the future.

I used Chapman Electrical to install solar panels. I found the team to be knowledgeable, professional, polite and conscientious. Andy provided great advice as to what system suited my needs and explained the whole process clearly. The installation took a few days and was completed by Jake. The whole team were efficient, tidy, friendly and competent. Once fitted Andy proved all the documentation needed to change energy supplier. Andy also checked in with a few days to make sure I was satisfied with the work, which I was. I would highly recommend this local firm for all aspects of electrical work.

We spoke to a LOT of solar panel installers and some of them were very impressive but we went with Chapman because they were local. As soon as we signed with them some of their larger national competitors started giving us scare stories that Chapman wouldn’t be able to get the equipment as there was a shortage, so they wouldn’t be able to install on the date they gave us etc etc. Well, Chapman turned up exactly when they said they would, did exactly what they said they would do and charged exactly what they said they would charge. Don’t be fooled by the scare stories - we’re very glad we stayed local!

After finding Andy on the MCS database and on checkatrade, I rang him for a quote, he was very polite and helpful. He did the quote in good time and I was very pleased quote, once accepted we booked in a date and on that day his team turned up on time. Andy and his team were very tidy workers and very polite too. Nothing was too much. Even when they finished installing the panels they cleaned out the gutter as they were conscious some moss may have been knocked into it, excellent from start to finish, I have Andy’s numbers saved in my phone if me or friends need any future work

I have been kept informed of anything I needed to know from the time of accepting the very good quote. Always been able to get Andy on the phone, which is very reassuring. I decided to use this company based on the honesty when enquiring re various aspects of solar panel installation. I am very impressed with the way it was handled and work was carried out very well. Professional, clean, tidy and friendly, helpful and I believe totally trustworthy.

I wanted to call out Connor’s excellent work in particular. It was of the highest quality as he took his time to get it right. He also came up with two solutions to deal with unexpected problems that arose on the day which ended up giving an even better outcome for us. Super friendly too. The team fitted a new charger (Ohme) for my electric car. The communication from Andy was excellent, and the work was completed to a 1st class standard. If you're looking for an EV charger, Chapman Electrical will assist you with the government grant applications, and all the relevant NICEIC certificates are provided.

My mother in law had problems with her power cutting off and had been happening frequently. Despite having the power companies checking and coming out it wasn't resolved. On a Sunday, Andy came straight out, saw that the main fuse had been overheating (burnt) and changed it, probably saving a fire. Thank you so much.

As a company we have used Chapman Electrical for a few call outs and also some fixed wire electrical testing and found them to be courteous, efficient and very well priced. We would highly recommend these guys. GREAT SERVICE
