Fantastic job

Jamie and Josh installed my solar battery inverter today and I’m very pleased with their work. They were professional, efficient, and clearly knew what they were doing. They completed the installation to a very high standard and left everything neat and tidy. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering solar or battery installation.

When the sun shines

We were really impressed by the work that the Powergen team undertook to fit our new solar panels and battery system. The team arrived on time, were polite and well-organised. The work was carried out efficiently and completed within hours. The electrician explained how to operate and monitor the system through the phone app. He also answered all of our technical questions. The other members of the Powergen team we interacted with throughout this process were all polite and helpful, and provided helpful advice. We were not at any stage put under pressure to buy the system, and the team listened carefully and answered our questions. The key difference was the arrangements that Powergen have in place to ensure that the estimated power generation of the system is subject to independent scrutiny. Furthermore, the maintenance of the system will be covered by an insurance policy. I had some concerns about the long-term safety of certain battery technologies, and so was impressed to see that Powergen has invested in new generation batteries that significantly cut down any risk of combustion/fire. I undertook separate checks on the solar panels and battery systems that Powergen offered us and was able to verify that they are leading products in their class. It has also been reassuring that when fitted, the two batteries and inverter take up less space in the garage than I had anticipated. It is early days, but our experience with Powergen has been excellent.

He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly without any pressure. The whole process was smooth and well organised, and any questions we had were answered quickly. The whole installation process was organized and efficient. Avoid at all costs!! Evergen salespeople sell you one thing and then try to charge you extra for the same product or less. Very dishonest design team who pretend they know what is best for you but are actually cutting corners. I am suing this company for breach of contract.

Evergen solar say they're the biggest…

Evergen solar say they're the biggest but they are only the biggest crooks. In October paid £100 deposit for a solar installation agreed for £12,000 which I took a loan to pay, now 3 months later they try to change the terms and raise the cost to £1000 more! They have done nothing and said they cannot do it for the original price. I have to take legal action for the time wasted and deposit they kept. Daylight robbers Do not trust these people.

From start to finish of installation was smooth. Engineers came on time and installation was done in 6 hours. System up and running. Zeshan was trained and fully equipped with all information, I needed to decide. Will recommend Evergen to friends too

Easy experience from start to the completion of the process of solar panel installations and the SEG application. Maleka was a good point of contact for the introduction to the system and right up to the completion of the SEG application. The scaffolding and installation process was also really quick and efficient

During power cut I had no power

During power cut I had no power. When I called them, they said I dont have switch, which they never told me I shoulkd have. In fact, for last 6 months I was produing energy for them but paying off thhe loan. I have useless panels on roof.

Very disappointed with the service provided. I had my solar panels installed a year ago and it’s always been difficult to resolve issues. Their customer service is friendly but unable to help. I need to simply reset my battery due to a change in WiFi password (which unfortunately doesn’t happen by a click of a button). I have been provided with useless information not applicable to my battery storage in the first instance which I told them. To which they asked me to call Growatt and provided their number. Growatt hasn’t been answering or cut the phone so I’ve been unable to get through. I informed Evergen, provided a date and time for a call back from them ensuring that I can answer. To my disappointment, they never called and my issue is still unresolved. I had problems earlier to which I needed an engineer to come and again it was difficult to get any help whatsoever, it has taken over a month to get a solution during which my solar panels were not working and not generating the power. In my opinion they are very over priced, useless when it comes to help so it ends up costing more money, time and nerves to try and get a resolution. There are definitely far better providers out there - do not buy.

I was cold called when I was waiting for another solar company to call and quote. Offered a face to face appointment 6 days later. No one showed up to this appointment, no communication to say they wouldn’t be showing. Won’t be using this company

Unbelievably slimy salespeople. I am concerned that people are going to be ripped off. Came about with a £17.5k for 12 panels (no G99 application), 5kW battery. Then another £2.5k for another 5kW battery. When questioned on the price, it immediately went down to under £10k if signed up immediately. With the figures thrown at you, it's easy to get drawn in and ignore the installation cost (with the finance options). But absolutely would avoid.

Rang up today to get copies of all documents required for solar panel registration from two years ago and they are resending me the documents. A super service and i would recommend this company 100%. Thanks to Haran for your help. Looking forward to recieving the documents soon.

One star is only for not being transparent and true to their sales discussion. The sales guy mentioned abt scaffolding being part of their company (not subcontractors) but on the day of installation it turns out to be just opposite. No issues with the subcontractors, they do the job as expected - neat and clean, but it is the sales process that bothers me till now. The people who did the solar installation, which i have to believe are evergens ppl, were brilliant. But its been almost 3 weeks since the panels are installed and yet the scaffoldings not removed. Spoke to the teams couple of time and no response. So beware of what they say during the initial discussions. I will always recommend to check with the customer team rather than trusting the sales team as they either do not know what services they sell or they simply over exaggerate for sales.

Our installation was completed on the exact date promised—just a week before Christmas—and the entire experience with Evergen has been exceptional from start to finish. From the initial consultation with Nisar, who handled all our questions with patience and clarity, through to ordering, installation, certification, and follow‑up checks, every stage was carried out with flawless professionalism. I would wholeheartedly recommend Evergen to anyone considering solar panels. You would be hard‑pressed to find another organisation as thorough, reliable, and committed to customer satisfaction as they are.

We had our solar PV system installed by Evergen at the beginning of September 2025. While the installation itself was completed, the aftercare and compliance process has been extremely disappointing. Since installation, we have been persistently chasing Evergen for essential documentation, which is required to register for Smart Export Guarantee (SEG) payments with our energy supplier. Several months later, one document is still outstanding. Over the past couple of weeks alone, we have contacted Evergen multiple times and have repeatedly been told that the paperwork is “with the compliance team” and that it should take “no more than 45 days from installation in a worst-case scenario”. That timeframe has long since passed, with no clear explanation or resolution. As a direct result of these delays, we have been unable to activate SEG payments and have lost export income for electricity we have already exported to the grid. This situation has been entirely avoidable and has caused significant frustration. If you are considering Evergen, I would strongly advise asking very clear questions about post-installation support, compliance timelines, and documentation, as this has been the weakest part of our experience by far.

Spoke with Jez (sales rep) and Rob (regional manager) to confirm a cancellation of my elderly mothers order today. Both were polite and helpful and easy to deal with. The order was cancelled and a full refund of deposit agreed. Seen a few reviews about people waiting on their deposit returning. We have been promised a refund by the end of next week. I will update review to confirm if recieved back in the agreed timescales. Update - the money was refunded back as agreed!

From the initial phone call to the site visit, I felt Evergen Solar were going to deliver their offer. This was backed up by the post fit product support from Daniel. Allowing my system to get functioning and linked to their easy to understand online data dashboard. A very professional company where I never felt pressurised to buy at any point. I will ge dealing with them again to expand my solar system.

AMAZING SERVICE from start to finish. The product they offer is top of the range. The solar panels are of high quality and one of the market’s leading brand, as well as the inverter and battery. Everything was explained well from start to finish and I am extremely happy with this purchase. The installation engineers were very professional and answered all my questions. They were very friendly and tidy and worked very efficiently. I am very environmentally conscious and with these panels I have noticed the difference straight away. The app that comes with is really good and shows you exactly how much you are generating and how much you are exporting. In the winter you have to still top up electricity, but in the summer you export more than you use and get paid back for it. Evergen Solar gave me a great price but their quality is excellent. For a good investment that you use everyday in the long run they pay for themself. If you’re thinking about solar panels search Evergen Solar and you won’t be disappointed. Thanks to the whole team. I had a problem with my battery charging. Or indeed not charging during the night from the grid. Sent an email to Evergen Solar and the issue was resolved remotely, quickly and efficiently. My Solar system is working very well and am very happy with the system and the service. Excellent Company to deal with.

Overall, a smooth installation happened, the pre-installation communication was excellent and I was informed of the happenings and occurrences well in advance. The actual installation was carried out by a really friendly and supportive team, who were very conscientious to my property and installed a very clean install. They took time to show me the equipment and how to shut it down if needed and showed me the app that I can use to see it working. Post install has been mainly positive, I do have the scaffold up, but it did say in the T's and C's that this could be around a month after, so it is just outside this window, with a recent call to tell me to expect a call this Friday for a slot to remove it. I did have a blip on my system, but a simple call allowed us to diagnose the issue and my system was up and running straight away. Also, the advice around setting up an export account and using my system to its maximum was also welcomed, although I did have to chase up a call about this, but the chap who called was very good. Overall, a good experience with the company.

Had a 12 panels system with battery installed within two weeks of ordering.Scaffolding arrived set up then installers Josh and Carl set it up. Put inverter and battery in a better location that was planned.Would highly recommend Evergen.All set up through the app storing electricity 👍👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I had an issue with modifying the app controlling my battery system which had me completely beat so I contacted Evergen’s customer support. Within an hour I had a reply back with suggestions. Unfortunately this didn’t solve the problem (Entirely my fault!) so I contacted them again. Within an hour Taran had set up my system remotely for me and it’s now working beautifully. The speed of response, helpful attitude and professionalism throughout my experience has been exceptional. Thank you to Taran and all at Evergen!

A month after our install and we’re still living around the scaffolding which is hugely inconvenient for us and our neighbours. We’ve moved work commitments, and other appointments to fit in around the days and times they’re booked to remove it, but they never show up and ignore all attempts at contact. I’m starting to think we’ll have to pay another firm to remove it. Our install had some niggles, although they were resolved quite quickly, but the fairly positive experience pales into insignificance because of the terrible attitude they have round this scaffolding issue. Unprofessional, unhelpful, would not recommend.

When you book their policy is to call the day before to confirm. However this is during standard working hours. What was not mentioned was missing that call leads to your appointment being cancled. No answerphone messege to say that. Also, if you miss their call they can call 10+ times to get in touch. But from many different numbers so it seems like you’re being harassed with spam calls. Their customer service team is stuck on some script and don’t acknowledge if I booked 2 days prior, is 1 day prior realy necessary? Didn’t even get that quote in the end just left frustrated
