I have had solar panels with a Tesla Powerwall installed by UK Energi. Josh was my first point of contact and has been amazing throughout the process. The entire team was highly professional and have done an amazing job. I would highly recommend them if you are considering to install solar panels at your home.

Install of Solar System & EV charger

Our experience with UKEnergi for the installation of our solar panels and EV charging point has been nothing short of excellent. From the initial enquiry with Harry, it was reassuring to learn that we could achieve the system size that we wanted, despite being told otherwise by another company. He designed a perfect system for our house, explained everything to us, and patiently answered endless questions. The no pressure, non pushy sales approach was very much appreciated. The communication by this company is excellent, we were notified by Jen of the date for survey, and then scaffold erection and installation of the system, together with the names of the personnel undertaking the work. Everything was carried out so efficiently, to a high standard and in such a friendly manner. A big shout out to Lee and Tyler from Elite Scaffolding, for an excellent job, and likewise to our Solar system and EV charger installation team, Curtis, Tom and Connor, who again did an excellent job. All these guys were a pleasure to have working on our home. At the end of the install there was a slight problem with the battery software which was very quickly resolved by Dan. Other staff that I spoke to were Dan and Chris, and Olga in the Finance team and I hope I haven’t forgotten to mention anyone. It is evident that great customer service is a high priority for all staff at this company, and I will be recommending UKEnergi to family, friends and colleagues who are considering installing a Solar system. Great experience

What a great experience from start to finish Tracy the sales lady was professional and very well knowledgeable .She reviewed all our options answering any questions or concerns we had without any hard sell. Jen and the team were helpful they kept us informed every step of the way .Nothing as too much trouble The installation guys ( Curtis and Connor) were brilliant very polite and friendly even under the terrible British weather conditions they had to face . They made sure before they left the place was clean , we were happy with everything and even helped us to understand how the app works . Everything was well organised and went exactly to plan . I would definitely recommend this company to anyone considering buying solar .

Solar panels and battery storage

I recently had solar panels and a battery storage system installed by UK Energy, and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, the work was carried out professionally, efficiently, and with great attention to detail. The installation team did a fantastic job—everything was completed neatly, on time, and to a very high standard. A special mention goes to Josh. He was incredibly helpful throughout the process, taking the time to explain all the options clearly and answering every question with patience and expertise. His guidance made the decision easy and gave me full confidence that I was choosing the right system for my home. Overall, UK Energy delivered excellent service and quality workmanship. I’m very pleased with the results and would highly recommend them—and especially Joshua—to anyone considering solar panels and battery storage.

Scaffolding & installation all went to an agreed plan. Little mess was encountered and any that was, was cleaned away. Battery & inverter were nicely arranged on the outside wall. Took over half a day to install. Was easy to communicate with the people in the office before, during and after installation. Job well done. Recommend ? 👍

Had a really good instalation…

Had a really good instalation experience with UK Energi, from start to finish. All, from sales rep, scafolders and instalation team were timely and polite and worked hard to get their role completed on time. So far so good and I am producing solar energy even on days of cloud cover in January/February. I think paying a little extra for a recommended SigEnergy system was worth the investment.

Professional Service. After researching solar and Battery options and after several quotes, we decided to go with UKENERGI who weren’t the cheapest or closest to us but were so helpful and competitively priced. And after contract agreed answered all queries we had until fitting commenced. We went for 15 Aiko 485w gen3. Sigenergy 9 battery & 6kwh inverter, & Ohme EV Charger. Then had an Assessor come and go through the process and battery placement options . The morning of the fitting it was freezing 06.01.26 with snow and ice on roof but the lads were extremely professional and done an amazing job . The scaffolding company were really good too came the day before and 2 days after to remove. Also after fitting had an IT problem with charger and an engineer came out and fixed the problem. Excellent service, no looking back, saving money already

Had our solar panels and battery fitted 5th Jan 26, can't thank Harry and the team enough for a very smooth and timely process, and for being very polite, professional and easy access to coms if needed. The whole process has been so easy and simple with support from Harry and the team, we were given all the information we needed and we are saving electric and money, even on the most cloudy and wet days.

I have just had my solar panels and battery installed by UK Energi and the whole experience has been positive from start to finish. Tracy the sales lady was very knowledgeable and there was no hard sell as the system sells itself, and was £3k less than other quotes. Jen, Compliance and Design Director kept me inform at all points and ensured I was happy at all time. Finally the installation team were polite and professional and checked that I was happy with the panels and I knew how to use the app correctly. Excellent service and price.

Very good communication with sales and customer service. They tried to help during the whole process. Installers were helpful but might need to ensure some standard meter readings are done before touching them to avoid leaving customers without a last reading.

Great experience of solar installation

Great experience from initial call with Harry who explained the process and provided the quotations with my requested options and checked in regularly to ensure all on track. Harry even checked weeks after full handover to confirm we were happy with the service. Installation went exactly as planned and completed within one day including the additional plumbing changes to maximise the available roof area. Scaffolding was up for only five days and swiftly removed. Already recommended to others.

We have been in discussion with Harry Hunt from UK Energi for some time as modifying Solar system and changing (33 panels with 4 batteries). Harry was always very helpful and non biased, went out his way to support with advice and optimisation. I can highly recommend Harry as a Sales Support and company. Unfortunately due to price we did not go ahead, so we cannot comment on installation.

I cannot recommend UK Energi enough, from start to finish they have been great! Josh was friendly, professional and very knowledgeable about the products, the office team have been very helpful whenever I have needed them, especially Jen, and the lads who came and fitted the solar panels were nothing but polite, professional, clean and efficient! Even when I called to say about an issue after installation the company where quick to come and resolve it (turns out it wasn't caused by them but they still provided support and offered assistance). Great service!

After a few different quotes from other companies, we decided to go with a Sigenergy system from UKEnergi. From the initial consultation with Josh, to the commissioning and hand-over by the installation team, UKEnergi provided an extremely professional service. Josh was knowledgable and considerate to our requirements. The consultation/survey was informative and provided me with all the information I needed to make a decision. The support received from Jen remotely regarding installation dates and scaffolding arrangements (working around the repairs to the roof I needed to perform before installation) added peace of mind. The installation team were efficient, tidy and polite. Considerate installation to allow future expansion with all cabling neat and the property left immaculate. I would definitely consider recommending UKEnergi to friends and family in the future, and will more than likely use them again myself!

We chose UK Energi, upon 2 recommendations from previous customer installations. Our initial survey was exceptionally detailed with plans for two systems due to the layout of our roof. Every step in the planning was communicated, prior to installation we had a change of location for our storage unit! this wasn't an issue for UK Energi, One phone call and an email sorted this, the team who arrived mapped everything out fitted the panels best practice for our roof, while the electricians sorted the instal for the storage unit and ancillary equipment. all the workforce including the subcontractor scaffolders were happy working teams. we had a couple of snags post install which have been rectified without delay, additional roof tiles and a comms update. The wait for the Handover pack was 4 weeks, UK Energi waiting for replies from the DNO. we're well pleased with the operation of our system, the expected generation for the month of October was within 2% of the given projection. well done team UK Energi. like those who recommended you to us , we have recommended you to others.

From the initial no hard sell survey visit to comms updates then the installation, uk Energi have been a breath of fresh air. The installation team were very young but the most impressive customer service reps for their company I have met in many years. Polite, tidy nothing too much trouble. The explanation of the work carried out (especially the cracked tiles being replaced) and how to use the app was excellent. No mess to clear up no outstanding questions I can highly recommend UK Energi and I can’t wait to start earning via SEG. Thankyou to the uk Energi team.

Amazing customer service!! I met with a lot of different companies but UK Energi was the most efficient. They gave fair and honest prices. Helped me get exactly what I needed for my solar panels package and even stopped me from buying more panels than I needed based on the requirements of my property. Harry Hunt was who I originally dealt with on the phone and he was available for any questions during the purchasing process and even after installation. Would definitely recommend this company and use for further projects for my house in the future!

Having just had 11 solar panels and a Tesla battery installed by UK Energi the whole process was straight forward and well managed *special note to Tracey (the surveyor) who was clear, to the point and a pleasure to deal with (unlike some other solar companies who i also had the misfortune to get quotes from) so yes i would highly recommend their services. **Only downside is one of the panels is slightly misaligned on my roof which makes my teeth itch hence the 4 star review and not a 5 star review.

Really pleased with our solar installation from UK Energi. They were helpful during the time we were getting quotes and didn't harass us with pressure sales. The quote given was very competitive compared with some other quotes we had been given and they also managed to fit more panels on our roof than some of the other suppliers had spec'd and quoted for. The installation was arranged within a couple of weeks of accepting the quote, the scaffolding was erected a couple of days prior to installation and taken down a couple of days after. The installation itself only took about 4 hours including 8 panels, wiring and setup. We are already generation the majority of our electricity needs from the panels (though obviously this will drop during the winter), and the Sigen App allows us to see at a glance how much power is being generated, used and stored as well as any surplus being sold back to the Grid (though we are currently awaiting the paperwork to enable us to go on the appropriate tariff for resale). The only minor issues we had were that the system required an additional fusebox which would not fit in our electric meter cupboard, so this had to be mounted externally in our hallway (te cupboard has since been modified to accommodate this). We also needed a wifi range extender as the inverter could not pick up the signal from our router, even though mobile phones couuld pick it up in that location with no problem. Overall, very pleased with this, and we look forward to tracking the savings being made over the coming years.

I got four quotes for solar panels in Summer 2024. Uk Energi were the final company and I’d pretty much decided on another company. However the sales person was knowledgeable and took time to understand our needs. They knew they were the last quote but didn’t ask for what the other companies had quoted which I really liked. The price was the price and they were nearly £1000 cheaper. So we went with them and they were fitted in October 2025. Installation went smoothly and they were considerate about where to put the cabling. I needed to contact support once and they helped me out with an app query really quickly. I’d definitely recommend. I know it’s been a hot and sunny year but the savings have far greater than predicted and I am so glad we had them installed.

I had a great experience with my solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installation. Still installation, my electric bill has been reduced to only the standing charge. My monthly solar generation has been on average a 150% my actual load consumption, which is great for making money to pay the standing charge. I'm an extremely happy customer that has been treated right from day one. This is a perfect example of under promising and over delivering. I would like to thank Harry for the phenomenal job he has done in designing my system. He's an extremely knowledgeable person and great at his job. A job well done by my installation team: Ryan, Ethan and Manni on the first day. They did an excellent job setting up the system and making it look beautiful on a steep roof in the blaring hot sun. A special shout out to Danny who had to come back and do the finishing touches due to the complexity of my installation. He did a great job and went the extra mile to ensure the system working and that i was satisfied. Well done to the entire team and keep up the good work.👍👍👍👍

From the initial quote and home visit to the final installation, UK Energi were professional and efficient throughout. The team—Lewis, Manni, Ethan, and Ryan—arrived promptly, worked diligently, and took care to accommodate my preferences, especially regarding the battery and wiring placement. They were courteous, tidy, and clearly take pride in their work—each of them is a credit to the company. The only complaint is the delay in receiving the final documentation (which were all dated shortly after the install but recieved over 6 weeks later) needed to arrange the SEG, which could be improved. Overall, very happy with the installation and service.

Really nice company to deal with. The advisor was great and understood my situation, didn't rush and was happy to work around my schedule for calls and emails. The installers were good and explained some changes they recommended and most importantly, why they recommended them. Aftercare so far has been very good with quick replies and easy to understand explanations. Would I recommend? Yes. Prices are average (not a bad thing!) but the process and care is what makes UK Energi the company to use.

I have had my solar panels 9 months now. I have 12 panels and 2 battery system. The installation was fast and efficient and more such a neat professional job. Regarding the advantages of the panel I have been amazed. I was sceptical about them, but since March this year I have received covered the gas and electric charges including standing charge, plus received a credit every month as well. Totally recommend these guys.

Looked at getting full solar system for a few months and after seven plus quotes and gathering as much information as possible & still feeling sceptical on the information & quoted prices given & being inflated etc , then Ukenergi popped up & they were great in winning my trust with honest , thorough information aswell as a great price which was all down to Harry initially, he was on hand throughout the whole process , thanks again Harry for being a fine genuine guy and great honest salesman. I'm tough to win over from any sales person but Harry did it with ease , lol . No hard selling at all , just honest informative details , friendly down to earth attitude along with a great price. The whole install was successful, had a couple of minor issues with scaffold being fitted on 2 different days and solar system not being completed on same day but they were quick to resolve & it all worked out well in the end . The whole team that were involved in fitting our 17 panel system were very professional in everyway, they were responsible, respectful, friendly and thorough . I've recently had a solar and battery installation with UKEnergi and have been very impressed from start to finish. I had 11 Aiko 450w panels and the 8kw Sigenergy all in one battery. They've been in for about 6weeks and all our energy needs have been met by the system. From first contact with Harry via an online meeting I knew that I was dealing with a knowledgeable and professional company. Harry was very responsive to all my questions and signposted me to independent reviews of all the tech involved. Evan then came out for a survey of the house to check that everything with the initial quote was appropriate, again very professional and thorough. Clover scaffolding were great with Sam and Tom and very amenable to put the scaffolding in the arrangement that best suited our needs. The installers Ethan and Ryan were fantastic and I couldn't believe how quickly they were able to do such a good job, all looks great with the sleek black panels, bird guard and cables running down the back of the house. Manny the electrician again did a brilliant job installing the battery and explained everything to me before leaving. We ended up having enough space for an additional panel which Chris the director sorted out for me and we were able to maximise the output of the system. The Sigenergy system is excellent, lots of safety features, great app, all built in to one unit and we're able to add more storage later if needed. I would highly recommend UKEnergi to anyone looking for a solar and battery installation. I got 5 quotes ranging from a UK energy supplier, some national installers and more local firms. UK energi came out on top and I'd use them again.

UK Energi, right from the first contact with the sales team to the completion of the project, l found the whole team to be completely professional in every respect. At one point, we had a little problem, although the MD Chris sorted it out with a personal call. I wish them every success in the future, as l would rate them very highly and would recommend to family and friends .

Very happy with my solar system from UK Energi. From the Initial visit with Tracy who talked me though everything, did all the measurements and talked me through the system I could have and answered my questions. Eventually agreed on 9 solar panels and a 10KWH battery system which was a lot cheaper than octopus 7 panels only quote. Everything was planned well and I was kept in the loop via emails as to when the scaffolding was due to be installed and the actual system install date, took 1 day to install. A bonus was that it turns out I could actually squeeze another 2 panels onto my roof space which the workers informed me of and asked if I would be interested in doing, given I'd already paid the price for scaffolding and the workers to install the system it was a no brainer to say yes while they were here and I got a good price to fit the panels and optimizers. Another plus for UK Energi and their workforce was that while installing the panels they found some cracked tiles what would have been under the panels. Instead of leaving them, they swapped them out for tiles that weren't broken from other parts of my roof and did it so that all the broken tiles where now on the bottom row of on my kitchen roof. This allowed me to then go replace them without having to go up a ladder and onto the main roof. Very helpful in my opinion. Did have a sight issue with that the battery wouldn't work when trying to set it up, the electrician did all he could but been late Friday evening it had to wait till Monday to be sorted ( turns out it just needed a firmware update after they contacted the manufacture ) In short, I'm very happy with the system they have fitted, been up and running now for just over 1 month and I haven’t used any power from the grid, pay back time is just under 10 years.

I have had 16 panels and two batteries fitted. I did the usual and got several quotations from a few of the big companies. I spoke with Josh who guided me through the different options. He was so helpful as I had an idea of what I wanted but very limited technical knowledge. He wasn’t pushy and his level of customer service made me choose UKEnergi The fitting was so easy, everything was done in a day and my system is up and running. I have already recommended UKEnergi to my neighbours and friends, and would say my experience has been a very good one 👍

I cannot recommend this company more highly. They took a long time to ensure my needs were properly ascertained and researched honest answers to my, sometimes difficult, questions. The installation met my exacting standards - initially there were a few minor issues but these were quickly resolved (the company CEO even paid a personal visit during installation). I had a tiny issue with guttering after the installation which was fixed immediately, so aftercare also proven to be excellent. I am now truly delighted with my solar system- thank you UKEnergi.

The team from the start of initial enquiry have been professional throughout. There was no hard sales (which I experienced from another company). Also considering the cost was very competitive. The process in total just took over a month (which I was impressed). Two team arrived in the morning of install, one for the panels and the other for battery and electrics. If you are looking for a company, to install a solar and battery system to your home then look no further. I had several companies around for quotations after doing a lot of research in to what we needed.Watching you tube , reading articles on line there is so much information out there some true and some misinformation so what do you listen too and trust?. We decided to go with UK Energi, because of the professionalism from the start of the process. Paul the surveyor came round to talk me and he listened to what I wanted, Paul than went through the All the checks with property that need to be done to ensure that the information he provided was accurate . This reassured us as no other company went so in-depth with a survey, Paul than went through the options which would be most suitable to our needs and what we wanted.He listened to us and did not push or try selling us equipment we didn't need,or push us to buy there and then .We decided to go ahead with the install.The company kept in touch via email and telephone letting me know what was happening and when the install would be happening and who would be doing it . On the day of the install Carl and Scott the panel installers arrived on time and explained what they would doing and talked to me with respect, and they did a fantastic job on the installation it looks amazing.Whilst they where installing the panels I ask if I could increase the number of panels ,this is when I received the best customer service from Reece .He drove and delivered the extra equipment needed to ensure a smooth installation.All the electrics where carried out by James, another star explained what he was doing and why, and did a very tidy install and talked me through all the equipment I needed to know. The day after the install I received a courtesy call from Reece just asking if all was OK and if I needed any assistance in anyway with the equipments or app . We are so glad we went with UK Energi a great company with outstanding customer service and a team of people who care .
