I am highly dissatisfied with this insulation firm. The work was carried out unprofessionally, resulting in damage to my property. Communication has been consistently poor, and the company has attempted to avoid responsibility by placing blame on my tenants rather than resolving the issue properly.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Very suspicious. They installed a boiled but left damage to the property and my neighbours property. They said after inspection it would take 6 hours....it took 29 hours. (4 days) and when asked to leave at 9pm each night they were arrogant and didnt pack up and leave for between half an hour and and hour at the end of the night. The work is mediocre and ugly. DO NOT TRUST! the engineers absolutely reeked of shit too. Stunk my house out. Dirty boys

Wow these guys fitted my boiler through the government scheme and they were absolutely fantastic. From when I first met Asad right through to the team that fitted the boiler, very professional and hard working offered great advice answered all my questions and asked for appropriate documents. The lead guy even waited for my gas engineer. Highly recommended Thank you One suggestion- maybe change the name of your company :)

Had work that has been done by their insulation team under the government scheme, I dont know what their opening hours are, but it certainly aint 9am as always I try calling and no one seems to pick up after a good 5 times per try And when they do pick up they give a date that they say to come but instead come on a random day. There is no organisation with this company. God knows how they survive being open with the lack of care and client care.

Berks Insulation Limited provided an excellent service from start to finish. Their team arrived on time, explained the entire process clearly, and worked efficiently. The insulation was installed neatly, and they made sure everything was cleaned up before leaving. Communication was smooth throughout, and any questions I had were answered promptly.

Gill and his team are some of the hardest workers I’ve ever met in my life. I don’t usually do reviews but these guys deserve their flowers. Absolutely lovely human beings with an incredible work ethic. Very grateful to Gill and his team. I hope to see them again, in fact I’ll make sure it it. Thank you guys.

The worst company. My boiler insulation was horrific and I had to complain. They sent a different contractor who did eventually fix most of the work carried out by the 1st contractor Berkshire insulation sent. I had to chase and chase for all the documentation, the gas safe, electrical part p, the water cylinder warranty which was only registered because I kept chasing them. They tried to say the 1st contractor had done the work correctly. It was only because my husband knows a bit about boilers that they eventually sent someone else who agreed with my husband and fixed the issues. Completely nightmare. Only up side was I did get a new boiler.

Berks Insulation were commissioned by Igni to install our new boiler and installation. They arrived with a team of men who worked like a clockwork machine, removing the old cylinder and installing the new boiler. Everything was good but a couple of days after the install water system to come through the downstairs ceiling. Igni arranged for a plumber to attend who fixed the issue promptly, hence the reason for a four star review, not five. Overall very happy with our experience.

Very unhelpful receptionist

Very unhelpful receptionist, doesn’t talk clearly ,mumbles words ,talks over you ,doesn’t listen. As for the company ignore phone calls ,don’t get back to you about issues after installation. Had no option but to use them as it was done under government scheme. After several calls ,latest one today ,I am getting increasingly fed up!

One star is awarded because zero stars is not an option. Be careful when using these guys....there are several contractors involved. Communication is extremely poor Attitudes are abrasive and dismissive. Delays are not explained. People and materials arrive without notice. Repeated requests to remove scaffolding have been ignored. Expect massive delays, disruption, stress to any other life / work activities you may have planned. Directors conveniently not available for comments/ explanations.

I had a terrible experience with this ignorant company. They completely failed to carry out the grant qualified installation of a boiler and made ridiculous excuses to avoid carrying out their promises. Clearly a company who only want quick turnaround easy pickings. They were recommended by IGNI who also tried distancing themselves when Berks didn’t perform. I’m left very much out of pocket and continue to be ignored. Just want others to not suffer the same experience. I’d look elsewhere.

Very poor service from the outset.

Very poor service from the outset. They were the lead on my solar and ASHP installation, with EDF as the ones funding under the government scheme. It was due to start in October 2024, after several surveys and different installation companies coming to look at the job. Only a couple of days before the installation was due to start an engineer came to fit an electric safety cut-off. This couldn't be completed as the surveys had failed to pick up that there wasn't enough room for it. Que weeks of phone calls and emails, all without any heating. The installation eventually happened February. CB Heating from Essex were used for the work. They caused damage to my property and the work has been very poorly done. Leaks have caused staining to my carpets. Berks have refused to take any responsibility for the situation they left us in, forcing me to spend hours trying to find a resolution directly with EDF (and that's a whole other story...). If you're planning on using them, ask a lot of questions first!

Had some work done last year 2024 April,alot of work was left to do,kept calling and the workers just wouldnt bother,got couple of inspectors come in from the company,made a list and got the job done,leaving 2 jobs behind again,but it was the last guys Ravi and Abhay who came and completed the job.They went out their way and did the job very well which other workers refused to do.if you have these 2 guys come to do your job,you are in safe hands. We are hospitalable people looked after them well,tea drinks water food.it takes you a long way when people are helpfull.

Horrible company did not clean up after themselves and caught them coming down the loft with some of my belongings which they put in the back of their vanfe

I’ve been trying to speak to someone about fixing a problem their wall insulation team created and I’m getting ignored via email and calls. As you can see they’ve created a fire hazard in my home. Don’t bother.

I had insulation done a few months ago

I had insulation done a few months ago. Initially I felt quite pleased but have been distressed and dismayed by a hole made in my flat roof . The lounge now leaks when it rains . I sent proof with pictures. A surveyor came and the outcome was they said they couldn’t see anything. The ceiling is stained and I am worried every time it rains.

Got a gas boiler and radiators fitted…

Got a gas boiler and radiators fitted along with loft insulation….WELL The gas boiler and radiators were fitted Ali the engineer was great but the loft insulation is sub standard what little they did as half of the loft wasn’t insulated at all and the PLASTIC piping for the radiators under the floor have not been lagged so I’m heating the void not the house tried contacting numerous times but still waiting for a response They need to up their game

I am reviewing these scammers on behalf of my brother. Same as other customers. No after care. Boiler leaking. Flue not fitted properly and leaking carbon monoxide into loft space. Overflow not fitted to standards. Boiler installation condemmed by Worceter boiler engineer. Company ignoring calls and emails. No heating or hot water as boiler as was cut off by Worcester as unsafe. KEEP WELL AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Our boiler has been leaking since the day it was installed and we have had a very difficult time trying to get the issue resolved. The crux of the problem is that the overflow pipe has not been fitted correctly and that is where it is leaking. I am now trying to resolve this issue with via the complaints procedure after the installer has fobbed us off with a string of excuses. I have also contacted other governing bodies to try to get them involved in resolving the issue. Although the installer was pleasant enough, there is absolutely no customer service after care at all and there is no commitment to serving customers.

This is the Worst ever company which we had an experience with! They are cheaters / fraud. I would have rated this company zero start. They have damaged our property, they said eco4 grants doesn’t cover the full house external insulation, we paid them nearly £2000/- after taking money they disappeared, left all rubbish outside the property and stopped answering phone calls/ emails. 🚨Beware of these scammers / con artists. 🥸 If Anyone wants to get scammed we would highly recommend use this Berks Insulation company. Stay away from these 🐍🐍🐍🐍‼️

The team was very good, Abubakar did the survey before the engineers came and then a few days later 3 of the workers came to instal the combi boiler and did in a few hours in a clean and organised manner. So far so good, the boiler works, the heating and warm water too!! Masood was very nice and communicative and explained to me how the thermostat works. All in all I would recommend the company.

Munsaf Hanif and colleges did a brilliant job. They arrived early, and worked till very late evening to get the job done. They are all very polite and respectful l can’t recommend them all highly enough. A very pleased customer they were true gentlemen they explained how to operate the boiler to me step by step, they had no breaks very conscientious in all their work very grateful to them all thanks Sharon

Very BAD After service, call the office to tell them about a leak under the boiler and the advise on the phone did not know the difference between warranty and guarantee? And only one year warranty on the installation from what I understood over the phone! Should the pipe’s be like this in under 2 years? What cowboys do the installation?

My boiler needed changing. Both fitters were knowledgeable and efficient. They did their job without any fuss and were informative as well as professional. Happy with the speed of response and skill. They called before coming which was helpful. Once on site, they assessed how to do the job in the safest and cleanest way possible. Definitely recommend their services at any time for any plumbing or boiler related jobs.

Just had a new Boiler fit by Mr Gill. He did a really amazing job. Very quick and great work. No mess and really professional. Gave us the correct instructions on how to operate after the installation. Great guys👍🏼
