Very happy with everything

Very happy with everything , friendly and helpful installers who did a very professional installation. They did everything possible to get the system up and running. Only issue we had was that the Wi-Fi signal wouldn’t connect with the system. This should perhaps have been checked by the sales team in advance.

From the very first enquiry, the team was responsive, informative, and genuinely helpful in guiding us through the best options for our property. The installation itself was carried out efficiently and with great attention to detail, and everything was left neat and tidy afterwards.

Keith helped us understand the benefits and was very honest with how everything would or wouldn’t work for us. We have also been over the moon with Lee and Jay. They have honestly been first class installers. The rain has been horrendous but they have just cracked on every day. Our system looks second to none, and nothing has been too much trouble. Everything was left clean and tidy and our system is working as we had been told. Looking forward to the benefits over the coming years. Thanks.

From the initial meeting with the sales guy, who was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, to the final installation I was very happy with the entire journey. Installers arrived on time. I had regular telephone contact from the sales office during the process to ensure that all was good and made me confident that I could contact them at any time for help and advice. All in all a good experience and would fully recommend Spark to others.

Cannot recommend Spark highly enough. Don't understand the negative reviews here. We had Spark to install our solar panels and battery last July and we haven't looked back. Process was brilliant from start to finish. With energy prices going up it really is a no brainer, and look no further than Spark for your solar installation.

There are better Options out there, DON'T use Spark!!

If I could give a negative, or a zero rating even, I would! From Day 1, there has been some issue or other, from the first installation team not being able to put the panels on, due to some issue with my roof, that disappeared when the second team arrived, the scaffolding was then left on my house for weeks after, giving anyone who wanted it (luckily no one did!) access to the rear of my property! Then after only 6 months or so, something went wrong with the equipment, an inverter malfunctioned, which, apparently, 'never happens', then 4 months or so after that, I noticed my tablet wasn't registering any energy being pumped back into the system from the solar panels, and I had to contact THEM, to find out what was going on, despite assurances from the sales guy about how it is always monitored and any issues will be spotted and dealt with! THEN, once I had chased THEM and had a couple of phone calls to ascertain that a technician would need to visit the house, an appointment was made for Wednesday the next week, so already over a month offline, so, a little urgent, you would think? I took a day off work and waited, I chased at 3 and was then told at 10 to 5 that the CONTRACTOR was running behind and wouldn't be able to make the appointment! So, as it stands, at this moment, I have really expensive paper weights on my roof, doing nothing! That for me was the pick axe that broke the camel's back, so I want these panels removed and a reputable company to come in and replace them, only to be told this is going to cost me EVEN MORE, if I want them to send a team around to remove them!! I don't think so, thank you very much. The experience with them has been unsatisfactory at every turn, I would implore you to keep looking and not use this company, you have been warned!! Hi Dan, wow, you ARE very quick to respond to negative reviews, if only I got that sort of customer service from your operations department and not have to wait AGES for an unsatisfactory reply who ignore all questions I've asked!! (How's the investigation into why your contractor didn't turn up to my appointment going??) So, is EcoFlow going to remove your shoddy equipment? No? So, why do I need to speak to them? They can't fix how I feel about your useless company, so the only people I need to hear from are your accounts department to arrange my full refund and your team that needs to come and take this worthless kit away. If EcoFlow can do that, get them to call me after work, around 7, thanks

Friendly team arrived promptly, worked really hard all day, tidied up well and took us thoroughly through what we needed to know.

Great installation, waiting for scaffolding removal

The communication before the installation was great. The date for scaffolding section & panel installation agreed within a week. Both installations completed on time. The installers were polite and diligent. Spark agreed to have the scaffolding removed within 2 weeks, but this looks unlikely as I’ve not been given a removal date. Ordinarily this wouldn’t be an issue, but as some of the scaffolding is on a neighbours land, it’s causing unnecessary frictions. Maybe get a scaffolding removal date agreed before signing up if you have similar concerns.

I am being harassed by Spark Solar despite multiple requests to be removed from their contact list. I even sent a detailed email explaining exactly why their solar system made no financial sense for my home. Since then, I’ve spoken to multiple representatives to tell them I’m not interested, yet the calls keep coming from different numbers. It’s unprofessional and shows a complete lack of respect for potential customers' boundaries. If you value your privacy and your time, STAY AWAY.

I heard of Spark via a flyer and they sent a sales rep over to discuss. Very chap, but not a lot of depth of knowledge around switchover (off-grid running). Provided a quote that turned out to be 45% more expensive than i was able to source elsewhere. When I advised him of this, he shaved tiny amounts off the fee and was surprised I didn't take it. Further, the system he quoted me was not at all optimal nor suitable for my needs (inverter sizing was low, placement of panels which would obviously get very limited direct sun exposure). It was useful to have the discussion with them because i did learn one or two things around building regs and for sizing and layouts, but from an expertise point of view and based on what they wanted to sell me, they were not good. As such I would not recommend to use them if you are looking for technical expertise or value for money.

Very happy with my solar and battery installation from Spark. I looked into a few different companies before going with Spark and this was mostly down to the positive feedback on Trust Pilot. They were true to their word, turned up on time and left my garden tidy. Currently reaping the rewards of free energy and reduced bills. Thank you Spark!!

Brilliant service from start to completion. The photo shows how good the equipment looks, very unobtrusive. The second photo is from the app that comes with the system. My electricity costs for June were around £1.00!! I made £50.00 from the export…and I run a hot tub!! I cannot recommend Spark Solar enough.

Please don’t do anything related with this company. I asked for a quote a year ago and they’ve been calling me WEEKLY since. They won’t stop…

We had Solar, Batteries and a Car Charger installed at the beginning of March 2025. The customer service from all at Spark was absolutely impeccable from start to finish (including the trades people & scaffolders), and now we are almost totally energy independent. Well done Spark - we are very, VERY happy.

I made an enquiry about solar panels in 2022 where I got a quote and a virtual appointment but nothing further happened. I am still getting calls about this enquiry 3 years later, receiving 2 in the past 2 days. Even if I block them or tell them not to call me they just call me on a new number. Even if I where to get some panels I will not be going here.
